First off, the car was dirty and had no working air conditioning. It was 91 degrees that day. Then the brakes squealed really loud after backing up into a parking space. Nonetheless I returned the car at my time and made sure the gas was back where it was. Made my review to Zipcar about the issues with the car. Two days later I go to make a new reservation and realized my account was suspended. I call to find out why but they said "they can't tell me". A hour later after the team "reviewed" my account, they then said it would be closed and it can't be reversed and no money would be refunded. I'm like what? Talked to two different people and they said they couldn't tell me nor could a supervisor tell me nor was there even a department that could tell me. So basically I get this email saying my account is closed. And that's it. That's like hitting me and running. I'm pissed! Would not recommend at all

I asked to see the manager and Kvohn Griffin came right out. He was professional, listened to my long story (which you can read here under the 1 star reviews - my grandson posted it for me so it says it's by Caleb C), was willing to get in the car and experience what I did, because I asked him to. He was wonderful, gave us our money back and asked another - very nice - employee to drive us to the airport so we wouldn't need to take the bus. He was then going to send the car for examination and special, deep cleaning. He gave me his contact info and responded to several texts I sent after the fact. He deserves a raise! seriously!

The credit was absolutely refused, given your lack of understanding and inability to resolve a simple issue within 20 minutes of phone time. Yikes! -- After 2 positive experiences, things unfortunately took a negative turn with Next Destination Transportation. The owner, admittedly, is underway in a busy season and sent zero text messages (as he has done in the past) to confirm a scheduled pick-up. Miscommunication on both ends perhaps and the terms and conditions are spelled out on the website but it seems he picks and chooses when he wants to follow them. In the spirit of fairness, the cars have been clean and the drivers have been professional...until now. What I won't do is stay on the phone for 20 minutes repeating myself. I simply encourage all of you to get confirmation by phone, email, AND text if you don't want your full payment to be a donation to the business. =)
