Went back to National BWI, who were expecting me and handled the switch out smoothly. Took my vehicle and got another one. Another minor issue. The next vehicle's display screen kept locking up when I tried to interface to Google Maps. Each vehicle was a nearly new Mitsubishi SUV. These are not really National's fault. It still had the new car smell and drove like a dream. Drop off was easy peasy. I got in line and someone came to take the keys and check in the car very quickly. It used to be you felt they were the best rental company it appears that they have now come in line with just being average. I made a reservation for a truck due to having to move some items rental was confirmed. They did call early that morning and advised they didn't have truck but would call around different locations and get one for me,I called back assured they was working on it.i called their customer service was advised different policies for each location as to if your rental would be available per your reservation. Ask to have district manager reach out day and half out no return call or follow up. So if you have important business and need a specific vehicle from Enterprise you may want to have a back up plan.
