Alecia walked in and in less than 2 hours completely rearranged the footprint of my kitchen/dining room area in a way that was functional, beautiful, and best of all affordable. She really listened to what I said wasn't working in our current set-up and helped me find solutions that worked within my budget. She looked at what I had and helped me rearrange it so it worked better and I would only have to make limited purchases. I felt she would have held my hand through the whole renovation if I'd needed it but she was comfortable with just giving me the advice I needed to do the rest of the work DIY. She even had time left in our 2-hour consultation to give me advice in other areas of the house that were giving me trouble! All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

The judge even agreed that she did not provide services requested or promised by her in the contract we both signed. She even stated in the hearing that she never provided her clients with a budget even though we had been promised one and they are a basic component of a project plan. She also would not provide a timeline. To create a design we did not ask for that was missing key elements of a project plan, she sent us bills close to $5,000. Then harassed and sued us when we refused the pay with the promised project plan that we had all agreed upon. she just wanted us to email her so she could bill us 1/4 of $150 (her hourly) rate to send a reply that just said to pay her for her already billed hours that she could not justify.
