We needed all new windows in our house before a slight wind blew out the originals. After much research and many recommendations, we decided on Renewal by Andersen. Once decided, we were genuinely concerned about the installation process. Those worries were quickly quelled. The "team" arrived on schedule, explained the process, assured us that they would protect our home, and got to work. In 8 hours, they meticulously removed and installed all our windows, from extremely large ones to entryway rooftop sidelights. They were courteous, respectful, and all worked without complaint. When all was done, we have been left with a home that is quiet, substantial, dustproof, and far more beautiful than before. Our thanks to Jason Castillo, Dallin Jones, Derek Huffman, David Barrett, and Erik Rayas! read more

Renewal by Anderson (RnB) in short is a three card Monty. Business. They hide the total price until late in the game so watch the details'!!!! The bottom line cost is 3 to 4 times more than Homedepot. Ok the product is very very good but the ethics are just plain scandalous. It's not worth it. And the errors they make in ordering a single swing entry door is very very bad. It took three times to get it right. Thus a fail in service. I'd love to give them a negative score. Home Depot did not break a single window when they replaced four several years ago. RnB. Broke four out of ten windows in the removal process. They tried to clean it up but we are still picking up shards of glass. Real fun being in a wheel chair. read more

I have a no soliciting sign on my front door. My whole neighborhood is a no soliciting area. The young girl ignored my sign then when I said I wasn't interested she said why? I closed the door eventually because she wouldn't leave. Now she's still out in front of my house loitering. If I ever did need windows I would never use this company. read more

I tried to get a quote for a Door replacement. After no less than 4 calls I answered and 8 to 10 repeat calls / voicemails to confirm and reconfirm and reconfirm again over a 2 day period, I realized they were just so unnecessarily unorganized. No one ever came out to quote, they just kept calling to reconfirm the appointment roughly every 3 hours for 2 days prior. Was so absurd that I never could even get a quote so just looking elsewhere. I highly suggest bypassing them if we cant even get someone to come quote a project vs. 2 other companies that I called and they came out within 24 hours and quoted. Honestly I cant even imagine what is going on that they kept calling for no reason even when I spoke to them. read more

Please beware ! Renewal by Andersen offers you to use a GREENSKY loan to work with and it is a fraudulent company! After I made my final loan payment in full, I received a confirmation number, only for them to later claim my payment never went through. Now, I'm being charged late fees for a payment they confirmed. This is unacceptable, and I feel misled and taken advantage of. Would not recommend doing business with them. read more

We ordered 2 patio doors in November, 2023. 4 months later the doors arrived and were installed. We complained to the installers about the quality of one door. They sent someone and it was decided that the door was bad and needed to be replaced. We waited 6 months for it. What came out of a box was unbelievable! The framing around the glass was missing and unpainted so was the door!!! So much for quality control! You think for the price you were getting good quality, not so. Their ads are misleading good people! We can't proceed with glass coverings because the door has to be replaced. So bed sheets are covering the glass part. It's been 6 months and nobody contacted or updated us about the replacement. They got our money, over $15,000 for 2 single doors and nobody seems to care at Renewals by Andersen. I definitely would not recommend them! read more

I sent RBA an email via their contact us page, asking for local installers so I could view their ratings, and have heard NOTHING!!!! If I'm going to replace 16 windows in my home, you'd best believe i'm checking the reviews! read more

We replaced 13 windows in a park model and Arizona room. What we both heard during our appointment was $24,000 total after $10,000 down payment. Imagine our surprise and disbelief when we received a text stating that another $24,000 was being charged to our Green Sky account. All paperwork and forms are done on a notebook so there is no hard copy paperwork for proof or forms that you can see in your hand while the salesman goes over everything. We are intelligent women and are positive that at no time were we told that the overall cost would be $39,000. We asked the salesman several times if the total amount was $24,000 minus the $10,000 we put down as a down payment. There is no way in the world we would have spent $50,000 on windows for a park model and Arizona room. Buyer beware don't let our experience happen to you!!! read more

Horrible customer service. Told them exactly what I needed and sent them a picture of the one dual pane panel that was broken from my Arcadia doors as they requested. The Arcadia door was just a year old. After someone got back to me many hours later they quoted me to replace the whole 4 panel set. I only needed one panel. That's when they said the don't work that way. Then why drag me through this for a solid day to tell me they won't replace one duel panel door section?? I should have looked for a second opinion from the start. These guys are a waste of time and they were pretty rude to me in the end the way they responded to my criticism of how they handled this in my opinion. read more

WHATEVER you do. Do not use this company. I ordered my doors 7 months ago now. They've come out for the second time to my house and are rescheduling for a third because they can't seem to get their act together. First they ordered the wrong stuff, but the installers didn't bother to check that until they had ripped my old door off. They piecemealed together my trim piece and set the door that they had. (leaving a huge mess from their grinder jack job) and also leaving the door almost 1" off square. This same group of imbeciles failed to mention to renewal by Anderson that they didn't finish the job. My project ended up sitting in limbo for about a week and a half until I called them. The second installers came today (3months later) and got halfway through trying to finish the job before they told me they would have to reschedule, again. I brought my concerns up to my sales representative. Still haven't heard back from that individual. Management contacted me and basically said sorry but it is what it is. Nothing was done to rectify the situation. I paid several thousand dollars over the cost of the door to have professional installers and good customer service from the company. Instead I'm getting calls and emails that are not returned and no practical solution to trying to make this a better situation for the customer. WHATEVER YOU DO, GET A BID FROM SOMEONE ELSE. Hiring this company has been the biggest mistake I have made in renovating my home so far. read more

Very pushy salespeople and office staff. The objective is to get into your home and upsell you into something you don't need. My relatively new Anderson sliding door was shattered, but after my experience, I will be using another provider to repair it. read more

We were getting six windows and two sliding doors installed. The installation team told me they could get it all done in one day in November 2023 on that day. They attempted to try to finish the install at night when it was pitch black out and didn't do a quality job finishing and needed to come back. There were so many installation issues specifically with the sliding doors they had come back six times over the course of six months to try to finish the job. Their team and their project managers were all polite and informative, however, the experience was far overshadowed by their inability to get the job done right. On a $40,000 job they tried to make good with me with a $5,000 discount for the inconvenience. Their leadership was unwilling to negotiate what "fair" would be. Does a 12% discount sound fair after 6 months of them messing up on an Install that was promised to take 1 day? Terrible customer experience. I get that coming back six times and having to re-order glass multiple times cost them a lot of money, however, that should not be my problem. I do not recommend them. They get 2 stars for never abandoning the job and for the pleasant team members and project managers. read more

I am giving them a one star based on pricing alone. I can put a value on their windows because we never got that far. If you do call them out, expect a one hour and thirty minute sales pitch and pressure to make a purchase. The sales rep was nice enough but I did not need a 90 min pitch nor the pressure to make an on the spot decision. When I questioned why their price for the same windows Anderson sells at Home Depot was three times more expensive, I got that included installation. Wow, that is experience installation. Well, I ended up going with another company that will remain unnamed but the other company was 1/2 the cost for similar quality doors and windows installed. I don't like giving poor reviews but come on, you are ripping people off when you can buy the same Anderson windows at Home Depot for 1/3 the cost. read more

We replaced 10 windows last year. They have been out here countless times because several windows leak. We are very frustrated. I called my roofing company to prove it wasn't the roof. Now Anderson is blaming a hair line crack in the stucco. Ridiculous. I've had all cracks repaired after windows settled in. The sales guy was nice and the installers did a good job. I did have to have them come back out because there were huge scratches on the interior frames. They buffed them out. Not happy but I just done dealing with this company. I'll just get the bath towels out when it rains. Horrible!! I gave them 2 stars because the sales guy has stayed involved and the other 7 windows don't leak. Too bad Anderson we have a lot more windows and a couple of doors to replace and we won't be calling you! We are still waiting for leaking windows to be replaced. It's a long frustrating story but we finally had an honest tech and he said it's not the house it's the old design windows and they drilled into the existing frames. That was about a year ago. They have been out twice with windows that look like they fell off the back of the truck. Someday we might have this project done and windows that's don't leak. They did send someone out to do the stucco repairs from the cracks they made. Did an okay job. I've been working on the cracks myself. I wonder who's going to pay for the paint job?!?! read more

Received a mailer enticing me to call these people. They act like they are gathering info for the CIA in order to send somebody out to basically measure and show a few window options. No joking, one of their numerous, and progressively probing questions asked me to provide the name of my wife so they could "address her properly". WEIRD! Note to these tools: YOU ARE NOT SCREENING FOR NATIONAL SECURITY EMPLOYMENT. GET IN THE REAL WORLD. read more

We've had a terrible experience with this company. We had 2 sets of sliding doors installed, and replaced a few other windows. One of the sliding doors has never been right. We've had trouble with the locking mechanism from the very beginning. And then over time the door wouldn't stay on the track. I understand things may not always be right but their customer service and responsiveness is extremely poor. We ended up replacing other windows and doors about a year ago with a different and less expensive company and soooo much better! read more

Dealing with them wasn't too bad, but they subcontract all the stucco work after installing the windows to the worst subcontractors. I am still waiting to get two of the three windows I had done finished (paint on the stucco). I first met with renewal in June of last year! I just phonef them and I can reach neither them nor the stucco company. I would never hire them again. read more

I got a quote for my house, $62,000, for the lowest priced options. I was led through the process and then offered a $1500 discount if I signed today. I was assured they were the best and other option wouldn't be much lower. Oh and then when I signed, found out it was a 6 month wait for installation. After thinking about it, I cancelled my order 2 hours later. I then called Window World, $15,000, and the options are just as good. Same glass, better frames, better color selection, etc. On top of it all, we're scheduling installation in 2-4 weeks. Geez, Andersen gets a thumbs down. read more

We paid 17,000 for seven windows. We were told that they laser measure all windows for a perfect fit. When they installed one of our windows, it didn't fit and we heard them banging on it to get it in place. The window broke!!! The installer tried to tell us it was a factory error, my husband said no way we heard you hammering it to try to get it in. A representative of the company called us and was very apologetic and said they would get the window replaced as soon as possible. This was August. Well, we have not heard from them at all. We did withhold money, but still very disappointed in this company, it's sales representative and installers! We would never recommend them and will be using a different company for the remaining windows read more

Please read this in entirety. Renewal by Andersen is a big corporation. 17 years ago we had a good experience with them replacing a window. Since then some MBA geniuses have transformed the company from emphasis on customer service to sales and marketing #1. We just had another window replaced by them and it was terrible. It used to be you could call and immediately talk to a knowledgeable window expert. Now phone calls to them only reach sales people. This time our contracted scheduled delivery date was pushed back 3 weeks for some reason. That didn't happen before. Then a someone left a voicemail message the day before the new delivery date informing us imperiously they would be arriving early morning, not afternoon. This interfered with my annual Medicare checkup, which is why I requested afternoon delivery. I called the number left on the voicemail, left a message asking for a call back ASAP and waited 6 hours. When that didn't happen I called again and finally got someone to apologize for not calling back. They relented. When delivered, it was immediately apparent the sliding pane was on the wrong side. What we had here was a "failure to communicate" somewhere between the sales person, the tech who took measurements, and the factory. (BTW, our sales person is no longer with them. Turnover problems?) Andersen said they would make it right, but this was months after we had made the initial deposit. It was a special sun blocking window and this was the height of the heat wave. I said "screw it" and we kept it. So far at least the sun blocking window is working. I must say the installers (essential workers) were very good. They deserve kudos, and are probably underpaid. I vented to the head installer the litany of mistakes, and said I just hoped the quality of window was still good. He assured me of the quality, but he openly expressed no surprise about details of my bad experience. Makes you wonder. If any of you have seen the movie "Executive Suite" starring William Holden, Frederic March and Barbara Stanwyck, the script could have been written with Renewal by Andersen in mind, except the movie had a happy ending: quality and customer service won out over shareholder dividends. Not in my case. I will never use them again. read more

KJ - the service technician that measured our windows for the install at a later date did an awesome job! He made sure before leaving that he went over each window as discussed with our consultant to ensure that the order is correct before sending through. I highly recommend this company for not only the quality of their product but the excellent customer service received so far!! Great job KJ!! read more

Our sales agent Ed Movsesian was friendly, professional and guided us thru the entire process of replacing all of our windows in our 5 bedroom home. He assisted on a monthly basis to keep us informed of the manufacturing process and processing our monthly financials. He represents your company well and it was because of his efforts that we chose Anderson. The install teams were friendly, hard working and knew their duties well. Tim B, Cliff R and their teams of Joey R, Rich L, Omar F and Alonzo A are all a credit to your organization. Whatever you're paying them isn't enough. They were respectful of our house and cleaned up their work scraps all through the process. On the last day a special shout out to Tim and Rich who went of their way to wrap my corvette which was parked in front of the house to keep the dust out. They patched and painted a couple of small dings in the outside plaster. They went far above in exceeding our expectations. Overall really good product but greater staff. read more

Fantastic product, we are very happy with the results. Installation team were awesome, professional and tidy. Did have an issue with breaking an outdoor area of counter top during installation but they had that repaired nicely. Install was delayed past initial install date but, forgivable due to supply chain issues. Altogether a good experience. Not cheap but worth the money. read more

Wife attended the home show. Next thing I know there's a salesman in my home. I thought she was just going through some formality or gathering information after joining a mailing list or something at the show. Had no idea she was signing up for several thousands in work with the first person who gave a quote. After zero input from myself and no signature from from me they have used high pressure sales techniques to get my wife to sign up for $7,300. Included in this work is the removal of a lock system I just spent $1,000 on. After consulting my attorney I've learned I'm pretty much screwed as my wife signed up for this garbage. Trying to make the best of a bad situation I called to make sure my existing lock system would be used. I found the sales guy to be completely unprofessional. I was outright lied to twice. So now I'm stuck with these jackasses. Even better they came over to measure. In doing so they completely busted up my door and taped...yes taped it... back together. When I first called I was told I couldn't get out of the contract. Today I can because it's considered "a late cancellation" and they want $1850 for the job of busting my front door and pressuring my spouse into signing a contract. Since my wife signed the contract I'm going to hold up my end of it but I'm going to make damn sure they do too. If you're the type of person that doesn't like to tell someone no or to get the hell out of your house I highly suggest staying away from these vultures. Renewal by Andersen - Windows Installation Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

Recently had two windows and a sliding glass door replaced by RbA. I had a great experience from the Sales Rep (Derek) to the installers. Everyone was accommodating, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and up-front. They kept me posted about the installation (but not overly posted, if you know what I'm trying to say) including about how long it would take before they could come out (3 months) and how long the installation would take (about 6 hours). For the day of the installation, they gave me an arrival window of 7-9am - which I was delighted with since I'm an early bird. At 6:50 a.m. I got a call from the installer saying they'd be to my house within 20 min. And they were! The two installers, Tyler & Christian, did a great job! They didn't loiter (they didn't even take lunch!), they knew what they were doing, were kind and expeditious. Finished the job in under 6 hours. You could tell they knew what they were doing. Afterward, I was taken thru each window/door and educated on what they did and how to operate - not rushed (even though by now, I'm sure they were starving!) Even my handyman came by a couple days later and admired not just the new windows/door, but their work! Pleased with the work and the quality of the product. read more

First, let me be very clear in that I did not purchase windows from this company. It never got that far. After an invasive initial conversation- and believe me, I taught sales training so I get it, but this rep was obnoxious- I received a TEXT from an anonymous phone number, stating that it was the manager of the location, and could I call him... huh? I am now working for the company? And I assume that this is auto-generated, as it is not an actual phone number from which I received this text. So I do call back, and I am then subjected to, not only a repeat of the questions from the day before, but an even more absurd inquisition... "When we do a search, it comes up with a Joe and a Rob as homeowners of this property. Do you know those names, as you said you were the only homeowner?" Are you serious? What the %$#@? (I need italics here, for sure.) When I reply that I am a brand new homeowner, he says, "Oh, that explains it." I didn't realize that I needed to prove my ownership to the sales rep. Ridiculous. I again get the, "Is there anyone else that you want to have present to help you make the decision?" They do this so when you say, "I need to think about it", or "I need to ask my husband", they can strong arm you by saying, "But you said that you were the only decision maker..." I didn't immediately cancel, which I should have, but I did so today- there is no way I want to do business in this manner. And of course, when I said that I wanted to cancel, I got the twisted arm trying to get me to reschedule. Anyone want to bet that I will be getting annoying follow up calls for months to come? Again, I understand what it is to work in sales, but they have zero finesse. Hey, Anderson- I wrote and delivered sales training for many, many years- just give me a shout if you need some help working with women in the 21 century! read more

RBA's marketing is aggressive and off-putting. I am absolutely inundated with junk mail from them- at least once a week, if not more- and it is often the kind of cold mailing that looks like a real person's handwriting, enticing you to open it because you think it's something personal. I find that type of mailing extremely underhanded, which makes me wonder about any company that uses it. Their salespeople routinely go door-to-door in my neighborhood, which I just find irritating. If I didn't want new windows last month, or the month before that, or the one before that, take the hint and stop knocking. read more

We contacted Renewal by Anderson in October of 2021. We met with a representative and were very impressed by his presentation. We ended up purchasing 2 basic sliding glass doors that were estimated to be put in by late December early January. We got a call in November saying the door were done and the instillation team should be calling us to schedule the install. After almost 3 months, no one contacted us so my wife reached out to them. We then received a text message saying our doors were not made, but to reach out to the install team. We are now estimated to get our doors in April. I've tried contacted Bob, and several managers and have gotten no response. I would never recommend this company. They only care about the sale and after that you are set aside. Their customer service is the worse I've ever dealt with. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. I wish I could leave 0 stars. It's hard to know where to start since every interaction with Renewal by Anderson has been a bad one. I tried to be succinct but its been seven months of hell trying to get our windows and doors installed. Heres an outline: - Signed up RbA to replace all windows and front door in home. Was promised 6-8 week lead time. We were skeptical given the state of the industry but the salesperson, Mike, kept telling us they were different. Right... -Four months later (after multiple calls and inquiries into the status of our order) PART of our order was ready to be installed. Great timing as we had a 2 week old...Installation took a full day but one window needed repair and they left damage to our window sills in the process -Two and a half months after, RbA had finally tracked down the missing pieces of our order (front door, window, screen door) -The final install was estimated to be 4 hours and took 9 hours AND our front door wouldn't lock after install and their was multiple spots of damage Had to have two follow up visits to repair the damage and 1 visit to fix the front door. I would not recommend this company. It has been one headache after another. read more

Dave Hylton was a great salesman. Not pushy and very nice. He kept me informed on the entire process. To say that I LOVE my new sliding door would be an understatement. In general, the windows seem to be good, if expensive (see below for a couple of caveats to this, however). Overall, however, we regret doing business with RBA: 1) The salesman had definitely read up and practiced the craft and techniques of "separating fools from their money"... A. sat with us and monitored our purchase decision-making. He interfered with what we now consider to have been a private conversation when we started wondering about how much we'd have to spend on window coverings. Perhaps we wouldn't need window coverings, due to the reflective properties of their premium product. This "helpfulness" made the concern go away while we were agreeing to buy, though of course, at night, we may as well be under a spotlight. Reflective properties, heh... B. emphasized how the competition shims their windows, yet that's exactly what RBA did on one of our new windows (by approx. an inch, so this wasn't exactly "laser-measured" as built-up in our expectations). C. emphasized that the windows would be laser measured. Sort of conjured up images of high tech machinery in a laboratory, carefully making our uniquely sized windows just for us, within perhaps a couple of microns or somesuch. In fact, it was simply a sales gimmick. A 2nd guy with a laser tape measure came by and confirmed the salesman's measurements... "Measure twice, cut once." 2) Large picture window has noticeable ripples, which largely defeat the purpose of having a large picture window. Of course, this is why their sales terms specify that product acceptability in such cases is determined by RBA - not the customer. 3) Salesman never followed up. Other communications were received from RBA, though they were primarily interested in being rated 5-star. We did trade phone calls with a manager of some kind, but never connected. No one ever addressed these (and other) concerns. 4) Install team - worked very hard, on a hot day. We don't mean to disparage them, but will note that one was really friendly, another was friendly, and the 3rd one we couldn't tell. (However, since he knocked things over *when alone*, we're gonna assume he didn't much care for us or our expensive windows.) There were other odd things, but that's much of it. Other than as noted, the windows are nice, if expensive. read more
