Love their palabok and goto. Their halo halo is great, too! Open 24/7 so it's so convenient.

Alberto is the best! My friend and I strolled into Original Joe's Westlake on a Wednesday evening…read moreto grab dinner, drinks, dessert, and watch the Mexico vs. Czechia game. Thanks to Alberto and the entire team, we had the best time, food, and overall experience. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy--packed with people and with guests constantly walking in throughout the evening--Alberto never made us feel forgotten. He thoughtfully checked in on us, got everything to us in a reasonable amount of time, and was incredibly patient as I asked questions about different menu items. He even let us know that, although he was busy, we should simply flag him down if we needed anything at all. At establishments like this that have such a high volume of customers, I honestly don't expect service like this. I expect long waits and to spend half the evening trying to find my server. Not Alberto, though. He was kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable from beginning to end. As for the food, I had the Pilsner and Joe's Filet of Sole, my friend had the Golden Ale and Joe's Eggplant Parmigiana, and we shared the butter cake with ice cream for dessert. Everything was chef's kiss, including the bread and butter! I would absolutely come back just for the service from Alberto. Five stars, always. You can never go wrong with Original Joe's, and Alberto made an already great experience even better.

my boyfriend come here like once a month for 3 reasons: 1…read more the portions are PHATTTTT 2. we live like 5 mins away from this plaza 3. the portions are PHATTTTT I don't think I've ever gotten something that wasn't breakfast here. My cousin did, so I begged to take a photo before it got devoured. mushroom swiss burger - opted for onion rings instead, looked and smelled delicious shasta veggie scramble - I usually get either this or the bowl. they're the same concept: everything the omelettes have but already mixed with cheese + veggies. I usually don't get the bread unless I'm HUNGRY. for breakfasts as a side you can choose their biscuit (a big ol' chunk that's as big as my face), 1 thickkkk pancake, or bread. but, I usually just do the main course. their hashbrowns are delicious, but they offer home fries too. country fried steak - it's good! my boyfriend usually orders this, but it's also very hearty. I have to really be in the mood for it myself. tips on sauce: they have cholula and tapatio - if not at the table you have to ask for it. tips on the homemade sauce baby: chipotle taste, more like smokey than spice mama: slight kick, not too crazy papa: even this is not too spicy, but definitely more POW flavor than mama and baby. (I will update this next time we go, it's been a while) they also do stamp cards per visit: 10 visits makes #11 free (not per entree). they have great drinks (coffee, juice) and some are bottomless but not all. iced coffee was okay, but they have great lemonade.

We had a craving to eat here before heading home. We stopped by after an event in the city…read more We had such a better experience besides the wait for a table but that's not surprising. They're always busy especially at night. I stuck to my usual chopsilog. One had their bangsilog and another had a combosilog consisting of longanisa and tocino. Then shared a halo-halo. This time around, the service and food was better. Can't say I won't be back.

this place has such a special place in my heart. from late nights to early mornings, the cafe…read morealways has you covered. I've come here sober, hungover, drunk.. name it. And it hits every time! Over the years, I have slowly grown out of only ordering the longsilog (longanisa, egg, rice hold breakfast combo). However, it's still delicious. I just don't remember it being the price it is now. Will I still be there? Hell yeah! (side note, they have some of the best halo halo). halo halo the ice is melted shaved ice texture, not sweet at all, you choose either mango or ube ice cream inside, jellies, and rice cereal. (I'm going off memory here, so the rice cereal might be incorrect. just order it, you won't regret it!). soft scrambled egg with shrimp and rice this is in the rice plates section on the menu (I had to look it up, I never noticed it before). the sauce was slightly sweet but the meal was completely destroyed. fried chicken I mean; never thought it would be GOOD, but my boyfriend was so adamant about me testing it.. and it's delicious. crispy skin (almost like chips), juicy, flavorful, and with mangtomas sauce!! longsilog my tried and true? ugh, the suka too (vinegar), incredible. garlic rice? always a huge and delicious portion. god I miss it. bangus sisig bang-oose. milkfish for those that don't know. ugh, the jalapeno, tomato, lime!! and the flavor on this? I could marry it. it's also a favorite in the family, so we order this almost every time we see it. the skin? crispy. amazing every time. bangus silog someone in our group loves it even more than me, they got their own personal fish with egg and rice to eat with it. and that was DEVOURED by the way tocino silog honestly, the tocino was not giving its name. it's traditionally sweet pork, but it wasn't sweet. plus it was a little tough so this was one of the few times I saw my boyfriend (who ordered it), have leftovers AND didn't want to take the rest home. lugaw think hainan style chicken, in a ginger hearty broth, with softened vegetables, with a side of rice. this was a weekly special and just so happened to be its day of the week, whilst I decided to have a hangover. it was perfect - I want to order/eat this weekly. you're gonna come here for the gambling, but might as well eat some good food while you're here too. the service is always pretty standard, free refills on soda too :)
