Located in a rather dense part of Daly City, but with a little effort, you can find a spot to park. NOTE: There are meters on Mission Street that only take quarters! You order at the counter, then take a seat. Nice variety on the menu, both breakfast and lunch items (eggy thangs & goodness between bread). A couple of Latin items. A small choice of baked goods and a self-serve water station. Ordered "The Scrambled" w/ ham and cheddar, potatoes... no choice on toast, just straight unbuttered wheat, so you'll need to request butter if you want some. Also got a large latte which was delicious! Everything was brought to me, which was nice. Only saw one staffer up front (they weren't busy), and she was super friendly and upbeat. Can't believe I haven't been here before, but I will be back as I'd like to try the Baleada, which is egg, bean, and cheese in a tortilla... simple, but looks tasty. Also, prices were very reasonable! Go, go, GO!

You order and pay at the counter and they'll bring you your dish if you want to dine in. There is metered street parking at the front, but you can find residential parking on the side streets. The ambiance of the cafe was simple, warming and welcoming; a quiet and relaxing vibe. Service overall was great and dish came out decently fast. They cleaned up pretty quickly as well when a table was finished. I wanted something a bit light so I opted for: 1) American Omelette(6.5/10)(~$12) - A decent and light breakfast plate. The omelette was a thin egg omelette a bit of a departure from your usual diner fare. The ham wasn't diced either, it was just 1-2 deli sliced ham placed in between with your choice of cheese(provolone, cheddar or swiss). For sides, you can either get a salad or potatoes. I went with the potatoes and they were grilled really well and seasoned just right. It also came with a sliced wheat bread. It was an okay dish, but if you want something more filling, I would try something else. 2) Drip Coffee(Small)(7/10)($2.75) - Just your usual house coffee. Overall, taste was good without it being overly bitter. A adequate cup of coffee that will wake you up in the morning. Price was very reasonable as well. 3) Pupusas(5.5/10)($4.50) - I ordered a pupusa to go as I wanted to give it a try for lunch. It was an okay pupusa; I ordered the chorizo one....but couldn't really find it in the pupusa when I got home. Just refried beans. It was freshly made though since it took awhile to get it. The pupusas aren't on the menu in the cafe, but it is written on the board outside. It came with a bag of mild salsa and a bag veggies on the side. Overall, I've had better pupusas on the Mission and would skip this. A decent neighborhood spot to grab a quick bite if in the area!

We ordered a prime rib seared, fried calamari, calamari steak, chicken Parmesan and a chicken Cesar salad. Jose was kind enough to split the large entrees In half. The fried calamari was delicious. We requested extra anchovies and croutons on our salad and Jose delivered. The prime rib was tender and came with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The chicken Parmesan was nice and the calamari steak was tender and not rubbery. We had pesto and regular raviolis. I love the pesto! All in all, the food was delicious and since we were also celebrating a birthday Jose gave us a mini butter cake with ice cream and a candle. A perfect way to end the meal.

Ordered two regular Double-Doubles and one protein-style burger with extra lettuce and extra onions. Everything was fresh and made to order, which is always a plus. Only downside was the wait, it took about 20 minutes to get our food, which felt kinda long for a fast food spot. Overall, still tasty and consistent, just wish the service was a bit faster this time.

We had never experienced it previously & to say that we were blown away is an understatement. The employees were so friendly & efficient, with people working at a busy shop it was not a long wait during lunch hour. Loved the peppers. The fries were great, fresh and tasty. Milkshake=great. All of that said the burgers are why people keep coming back. We all got burgers & were knocked out. So fresh, so tasty! The double was amazing!! Definitely on my list of best burgers regardless of fast food or sit down restaurant. I got the double animal the 2nd visit & it was great. It is regular food but it is made well with superior ingredients. The employees make the experience fantastic & unique. People looked genuinely happy to be there whether they were working or dining. We will be making a trip to Nashville to get some more in the near future.
