An older theater, this place is in good shape. Easy getting through security and in the door, there are good selections at the main bar, as well as the lounge there too. Also, compared to other venues, beers for ~$10 each seemed like a reasonable value. The venue itself isn't huge. We didn't realize seats weren't permanent. They're practically on top of each other, and there isn't much legroom. Luckily, we were on the aisle, so it wasn't that big of a deal, although having to leave the row so others could get in was a bit of a pain.

Like a free parking garage is unheard of nowadays, and I love that Boulder offers one. We were lucky enough to snag great seats in the balcony for prime viewing of the stage. The sound and lighting were on point and the bars were easily accessible. I, especially, loved how the seats moved and, in a sense, "reclined" so I didn't have to sit up super straight. However, they could've been padded a little more as I was getting a bit sore. All in all, I loved this place and would be glad to see a concert here again!

Employees are friendly and you've got options like alcoholic bev - canned beers, wine, cocktails... or lots of non-alcoholic bev. There is a little shop too for energy bars, fruit options... it's for anyone who needs it but definitely has hikers/riders in mind when they built out the little shops. The view is spectacular and the live music was amazing. We did the Argo Mill Tour first, took the cable car up and enjoyed a little snack. The food overall was decent, the pretzel was on the skinner side and the sausage was quite salty.... but the flavor is all there. We ordered green chili tots that was on thick cut steak fries instead... not sure if that's their idea of a tater tot but it was very tasty. The gondola ride up, alone, it worth the trip but having the Outpost perched at the top, waiting for you, is icing on the cake. Watching folks fly past us and seeing the twists and turns was excitement all by itself, lol. Props to those folks. We arrived the first day the lower level opened and enjoyed a spiked electric lemonade along with a bowl of delicious green chili and fish tacos. Both were so very good - I'm a fan of seasoning and spice and neither disappointed. Bar staff were friendly, helpful and super patient as we looked through the vast menu to choose from - you've got options and a view. You would have never known she's only done a handful of tours and is new-ish touring with Argo Mill. The tour was very interesting and living in Colorado for 20+ years, I've always seen the red building driving by Idaho Springs but never thought they had tours available to check out. We panned for gold at the end and that was very fun to learn how to do that. All in all I'd recommend to support local and Idaho Springs to come check them out. The tour is not handicap friendly so if you have a wheel chair it would not be ideal to walk through the mill. Hard hat is for show with the tunnel visit but it was def a fun experience with photo opportunity.

I think my biggest beef is that supposedly they charge you for parking. Why?! there's plenty of parking and why would we have to pay? It's not like it's paved it's a parking lot full of rocks with that being said we purchased the gold package which included parking so I'm not sure how much it costs but you can also just do one of the activities and use the QR code to pay for parking. However, I did not notice how they can tell who's paid for parking or not. I did not see any tickets on other people's cars and at least getting the package. They never asked for our license plate so I don't know how they're monitoring that but a stupid fee to say the least. I would give the tour a five out of five stars only because our two were really Caitlin was great. Other than that, there's not really much to look at and being a tour connoisseur. I've been a better two hours with more things to learn and see. To be honest, it really not that interesting for the cost. But thanks Caitlin you made it fun and educational! Then we rolled the gondola which is brand new as of this summer and it was really nice. No complaints and 30 bucks to ride. The gondola is typical and probably less expensive than the other mountain town gondolas.
