A friend of mine took me here once for a random outing to get a drink. I am a native to the area, but never have been to this place (I mostly hang out in the OC because all my friends are out there and it has an actual music scene, unlike the SGV). The people were cool. Even got a free drink from some cool new friends. The bartenders were nice. One of them even made a impromptu drink for me after I made a request for him just to make one up, and it was delicious! He even added an umbrella for me (I'm a sucker for those...). The only con was I smelled like smoke when I left and the bathrooms were smaller than my closet. But it's not a big complaint. read more

I LOVE this bar!!!!! I used to frequent it a lot a couple years back, now im taking some newbies to enjoy the festivities ha ha. The drinks are cheap, the musics good, the crowds are diverse, but not immature, never any fighting...or anyone being kicked out! Smokefest for sure. Only been there once and vowed never to return. Talk about leaving smelling like an ash tray. Def need firefighter gear to enter that smoked chamber. Good thing there is a Laundry spot next door to do a quick load after you leave Rendezvous. read more

On my constant search for a drinking establishment that has both reasonably priced drinks and a place to indulge my nicotine habit (a patio, a stool outside the door, ANYTHING). I was turned on to this little piece of nostalgia. A place where cheap drinks flow and cigs are smoked. Just as our parents did. Noone goes to a bar for their health and this a place that encourges you to beat your liver like it owed you money. Multiple dart boards and pool tables round out the scene along with a juke box . First time and last visit ever on 12/09/17. My friends and I are Asian. Went to order a drink at bar and bartender mistakes me for someone else. Instead of saying my mistake, guy says "oh...you all look alike." As if that wasn't bad enough, my friend asks him to clarify on what he meant. He responds "oh, it's like black people you know?" Nice little "dive" in Covina. Good spot to play pool and hit some darts. The jukebox is also sweet.

It's your typical dive bar location. Drinks are cheap and depending on the bar tender strong or weak. Just like most places. They have an internet juke box and a megatouch (you know...one of those units with all the touch screen games on them). The bathrooms are super clean. Which to me is a big deal in the dive bar arena. No pool table. They get an extra star for the extremely neat dart boards. They are digital on top and they are hooked up to the internet. You can even play people in different countries. This is one of the classic dive bars still around. They do allow smoking still which is cool, but thats not the only reason. Being new to the area its taken awhile to find a new home base, but i have to say (after trying a few other local fake under staffed bars) this is the spot to be. Its not to dominant as far as over ruled by a young crowd but daytime not packed with 65+ daytime drinkers. Plus they offer phone charging and plenty of dart boards if thats your thing. read more

I come here when I feel like I just don't give a f@%k. No really. The hard alcoholic drinks are made strong, they have pabst in a tall can and prices are decent so long as you pay cash. There's a charge for using card which kinda negates the cheapness of this place depending on if it's one drink your having to pass time with some friends or more. It's fine if your doing a session there. Be wary non cigarette smokers, you'll hate this place. The stench of stale smoke in here is ridiculous. I actually smoke so I don't mind so much but I was kinda surprised how bad my clothes reeked of smoke after spending an hour here. Something to think about if you bring friends that dislike this. No, it really is pretty bad though even for dive bar standards. You'll smell like straight astray coming out of this place. But it's nice and dark and people are chill. Fun fact for me. I've actually studied here once in the afternoon because I figured instead of drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes while reading at a coffee shop, wouldn't it be cool to have a beer and smoke while reading. This place used to be a place you cud chill wit yo friends but as of the past few months/years this place has gone south and aside from the bad parking lot area I feel like I'll b mugged in, the bathrooms are just as bad I would rather go outside and that's sad seeing as how I'd have to pop a squat. The actual bar smells HoRRiBle....I cud b here 30 mins or 3 hours and I'd still smell like a walking ashtray/cancer stick, I mean this isn't Vegas why is there smoking allowed in here is this bar special or something, cause last I checked nowadays smoking is not allowed inside California bars. Now we get to the SeRvIcE....I will say that two girls here i have no complaints about but the rest of the floozies with there fake tatas hangin out of there tops need to have better service and get laid on there own time....I mean they are"working," rite?!?! One bartender in particular needs to spend less time chit Chating with her racist friends and start serving drinks, because last time I checked if your getting paid it's called WoRk not Friends.....b more professional and KNOW the difference~.
