This place has a very good vibe. It is expensive but priced like any other upscale restaurant. It was our anniversary. Nice place to go. We ordered one of the cheaper bottles of wine and we liked it. I had the rigatoni vodka and it was good. The Caesar salad was okay. My wife had the lobster spaghetti and she liked it. Everything was good but being in Italy just recently the sauces weren't nearly as good. The service here is top notch. It felt like 10 different people came to our table. It was a nice night and had a good anniversary there. The meal didn't wow us.
Valentine's Day at Renato's and wow... this place is something special. It genuinely felt like we stepped into a romantic little escape in Italy. The ambiance alone is enough to bring me back, sooo gorgeous and intimate in the best way! We started with a hugo spritz, probably the best one I've had in Florida. Super refreshing and perfectly balanced. The oysters were also really good, fresh and enjoyable. I'm sad I didn't grab a photo of the Fiori di Zucca (tempura stuffed zucchini blossoms) because they were a standout for me. Light, crispy, and well done. The Polpo Arrostito (roasted octopus) unfortunately missed the mark for me. The texture was pretty rubbery which made it hard to enjoy. We also had the Pappardelle Vitello e Funghi (pappardelle with veal and wild mushroom ragu), which was good, but not something I'd rush to order again with so many other options on the menu. Service was excellent from start to finish. Super attentive without being overbearing, and they even noticed my purse slipping off my chair and brought over a little stand for it, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, I would absolutely come back, even just for the ambiance alone, and explore more of the menu next time around!
We have visited Renato's numerous times while in Palm Beach. Situated close to Worth Ave, Renato's provides a selection of excellent Italian cuisine, featuring both pasta and seafood dishes. You can choose to sit at a table either indoors or outdoors. It is advisable to make a reservation, as it tends to get quite busy. The ambiance resembles that of an alfresco dining experience.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and absolutely worth the visit. My daughter, my friend, and I had been wanting to try it for quite some time, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff was attentive, accommodating, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued throughout our meal. I began with the blueberry mocktail, which was specially prepared with ginger ale, giving it a light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced flavor. For our appetizer, we shared the portobello carpaccio, and it was the ideal way to start lunch--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For my entrée, I ordered the Linguine ai Vongole. It featured more than a dozen tender clams, and the fragrant broth was absolutely delicious, making every bite memorable. My daughter chose the Fettuccine Alfredo, made with fresh, perfectly al dente pasta and just the right amount of creamy, flavorful cheese. My friend selected the Tagliolini alla Bolognese, which was rich, hearty, and coated in a vibrant, well-balanced sauce. We couldn't leave without dessert. We shared the apple pastry, which featured delicate layers of apples drizzled with caramel sauce and topped with the flakiest, buttery crust imaginable. It was simply irresistible. My friend also enjoyed the Opera Cake, a decadent dessert layered with almond sponge cake soaked in coffee and finished with a smooth chocolate glaze. As someone who truly appreciates exceptional cuisine, I can confidently say this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience. From the impeccable service to the thoughtfully prepared dishes, every detail was impressive. If you're looking for fabulous food and an unforgettable meal, this gem is absolutely worth visiting. Beautiful place, very nice menu, fantastic service. Very Palm Beach. The artichoke hearts were incredible!!!!! The pasta was mediocre, we were a bit disappointed, but we'll come back for the fish and meat dishes. The desert was amazing! Expensive as expected, but it's a must, so beautiful indoors and in the courtyard. We will definitely go back.
What a treat to lunch on the garden patio of Renatos. Wonderful service with extremely attentive wait staff. The fresh bread and salads were delicious although a bit overpriced for what you received. This is Palm Beach however and the setting is exquisite. What we didn't love were the ladies from the surrounding shops who approach your table and model clothes to entice you to come visit. Rather tacky and rude to continue interrupting your lunch. Otherwise this is a great place to visit!!
Consistently excellent. I was excited to bring one of my daughters to Renatos. It has been a required stop every year when we come to the area. A beautiful night the day after Christmas and we sat in the courtyard. With the trees trimmed in lights it feels a little magical. Opted for trio of shellfish for an appetizer and was not disappointed. Two jumbo shrimp, two crab claws, and lump crab meat. All were delicious! My daughter agreed. Phew!, so far so good. I ordered the spaghetti with lobster fra diablo sauce. On point as usual. Wife got the bolognese and hers was excellent. Daughter got rigatoni in a vodka sauce which she said was very good and gave it a 4.5. It might have been a hair al dente for her. Desserts were the crème brûlée, Torta del opera cake and I got the special which was a Buche de Noel. Very rich and very good. A+ on the food, A+ on the ambiance and service.
My friend and I were craving Italian for dinner and found this spot to try. We waited at the bar in the meantime for a drink. Bartender was not the friendliest, kind of snobby. She did not acknowledge us even tho we were the only ones at the bar. Finally we got a table to sit down. It took forever for someone to notice us. We had to stop a waiter for a menu before someone brought bread out. Food wise, the warm olive bread with butter and fettuccine al salmone were delicious. I ordered the pear martini and it was really strong for my liking. A bit on the pricey side but worth a try. I can't say I would come back since service seemed like they prefer to go above and beyond for those who look wealthy.
We had a great time here and the wait staff were very attentive. We loved the pasta as it was a great meat sauce and al dente, however the chicken wrapped with prosciutto was terribly overcooked. They split the dishes for us which was very kind but the size of the chicken was ridiculously small and I think it was "less noticeable" next to the pasta. If that chicken came out alone, we would've returned it, it was that small. The app was ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms and only came w 2 pieces. It was good but I wouldn't necessarily spend $25 for it again. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and that was crisp light and delicious My husband ordered the Malbec and it was too light with no body for his liking. We would go back for the pasta but we aren't running, Hope this review helps you!
Great food and great service. Dinner at Renato's was truly 10/10. The Renato's 75 was a great cocktail. The Chicken Parmesan special and the Spaghettini Fra Diavolo were both incredible specials and the portions were big. The Dessert special was also great. I cannot wait to go back.
Visited on 4th of July with my mom while perusing the courtyard area and while staff and service is exceptional, it seems the view this spot has to the courtyard was obstructed by construction. Food wise this was very reminiscent to little Italy in NYC, which isn't exactly a compliment. The food didn't match the atmosphere or service, everything gave upscale but the food lacked flavor richness, was also surprised how al dente our pasta was. We ordered the rigatoni vodka and penne caprese. Overall, I'd probably try the pizza spot nearby next time as for price and taste this just didn't hit the spot.
We made dinner reservations weeks in advance for four. Service was quick, we felt rushed. The restaurant is beautiful and courtyard are lush and beautiful. Renato's was crowded, the tables were very close together & it was very loud. We enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco. The warm olive bread & sweet butter florets were delicious. We each received a bite of watermelon with feta & an olive. As an appetizer we shared the $25 artichoke appetizer, it was 2 hearts in a vegetable brother with diced tomatoes, it wasn't exciting. I ordered linguine vongole. There were a dozen small clams, some slivers of roasted garlic over spaghetti. My husband ordered fusilli bolognese that he enjoyed. Family enjoyed 1/2 an orange duck with rice & asparagus and risotto filled with seafood. For dessert we shared a lava cake that was more like a fudgy chocolate cake.
I ordered for takeout today for my colleagues, and the hospitality was on point. The staff was very friendly and the food was really very quickly. We ordered an assortment of food including the salmon and chicken as well as pasta. All were fresh and delicious The limoncello dessert was the best! read more
Some comments on Renato's 1. The vibe is really cool - if its cool enough outside I'd recommend sitting out in their courtyard but otherwise inside is very nice too! Reminds me of a fancy rail car in the main dining area and then there is the courtyard and a wine room or something on the other side 2. Service is great! Everyone is so friendly and there are plenty of people walking around offering refills and clearing plates. Food came out very quick 3. Food - eh... really surprised that they don't offer any homemade pasta other than what's on special. Guess we should have looked at that before going but its priced as if its homemade food. There isn't a noodle you can order or swap to thats home made. We got the chicken parm and rigatoni a la vodka. The chicken cutlet for the parm was over cooked, you could taste that it was a little burnt / too well done. Came with spaghetti that again was not homemade and no homemade noodle to swap in. Rigatoni a la vodka was just fine, again not homemade. Nothing special on the food front really read more

Dined here on a Saturday evening and this place was busy. Reservations are a must. I love that this restaurant gives off two vibes - old school New York on the inside and Italy on the outside. Service was great - our wine glasses were always full and the servers made great recommendations. We ordered a seafood app with shrimp and crab to start - fish was fresh and good portion. We also ordered the zucchini app stuffed with cheese which was also very good. My bf ordered the risotto with lobster and I ordered the spaghetti fra diavolo- the sauce was good but my bf's lobster was more tender. One of the highlights was the desserts- lava cake was so fresh and delish and the crème brûlée was some of the best I've ever had. A beautiful spot with excellent service. Adorable spot in Palm Beach with a quant inside and a lovely courtyard. It has a distinct European feel. It's very old school (your grandparents and parents would love it)! They have a great wine menu and a great food menu too. Lots of options to choose from and some very unique dishes you won't see anywhere else. They also had a fair amount of delicious nightly specials. Service was great when we arrived (we were the only people there). We started with a bottle of French white wine and their fiori di zucca (zucchini blossoms) and confit d' Anatra (duck confit). Both were great. Loved the duck. It was delicious and cooked very well. For dinner we had two pasta dishes - the ravioli con funghi which came highly recommended (outstanding dish) and a summer pasta special. They did rush us a bit, which flustered me, hence the 4 out of 5, and not 5 rating. The food came out super fast, not sure why, but I would 100% come back. I'd probably bring my parents or my husband's parents next time! read more

Great date night place. Five stars for ambiance, love the atmosphere, great ceiling and wide pane windows. Love the bar at the entrance and the elegant look and feel. Five star service, both at the bar and at the table, the smartly dressed wait staff is diligent, competent and friendly. Attention to detail is paramount in this restaurant, and you pay for it. The menu is Italian authentic and I have never had a bad dish (the duck!!). The price is high - four stars. You pay for all the 5s I described, and I wish it was a bit more affordable, but it is a once/twice a year type of place for us. read more

Dining at Renato's for the first time is truly an experience. There is complimentary valet parking once you arrive and it was such a delight walking through Mizner Square to arrive upon the restaurant. It's dark and romantic inside and the outdoor area is completely lit up & adorned with flowers. Breathtaking! Even though the restaurant was full, the tables weren't so closely packed together that I could overhear anyone's conversation. The little details made Renato's memorable for me: -Hot Bread & Soft Butter -Rack to hold leftovers bag -Attentive staff (noticed immediately when my husband dropped his knife & brought a new one) -Bowl to discard clam shells -Live music -Fresh blocks of Parmesan -Packed our leftovers for us On to the food, The soft shell crab dish I did not love. My partner did though. The linguini allá vongole was so delicious. The flavor was so robust. I will be having this again. The spaghettini fra diavola was good. The vongole was so amazing, I couldn't enjoy anything else without comparing it. The servings were filling. For dessert, I had a perfect chocolate cake & my partner had an equally thrilling creme brulee. I will be back very soon! I was charmed by this restaurant, its food, and its staff. Stepping into this amazing courtyard with bougainvillea everywhere on our way to Renato's for brunch took me back to Italy!! I fell in love with this beautiful, romantic place. We sat outside in the courtyard because it was a beautiful day, but it was also very charming inside with all the red leather chairs and beautiful wood furniture. The bar was so inviting and exquisitely made. I was in a daze walking through there! I ordered Eggs Benedict, which were delicious and perfectly cooked. I had an Iced Tea with that. My daughter ordered the Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine dish, which she said was very good. Complimentary Italian bread was also given with our meals. For our dessert, we shared the lava cake, which was amazingly good! The best that I have ever tasted. The service was exceptional. There were three servers who catered to our wishes and checked on us at all times while also checking on the other guests. They are an amazing team. After brunch, we walked around the courtyard and were in awe of the Italian architecture, especially the stairs and doors. Parking is on the street. We can't wait to go back to Renato's! read more
Devine, Amazing food the best mushrooms truffle ravioli I ever have. All the dishes was made with care. Not the best customer service may be because I came on lunch time and it's really busy. But I still love the whole experience. We share two dishes and special dessert which is lemon tart. Amazing . if you would like to dress up and have great lunch and feel fancy for a minute this is the place. Definitely will come back. Hopefully will get better service next time. The food came out on a timely manner. We didn't wait for two long. They also give you bread, please try to olive one omg so delicious freshly made. I could just have that bread and call it a meal. Very tight space the tables are all on top of one another. The pasta legit had NO taste. I asked for spicy sauce and there was no taste to the point where I had to ask for red pepper flakes. The portions were also very small. The service was fine - there are lots of workers so you don't really know who your waiter is. read more
Current Palm Beach fave. Dine outside if you can but they have a lovely piano bar area to enjoy on the inside. I'd call it old school glamour. Beautiful environment, exceptional service, decadent food and beautiful people everywhere all dressed for a festive night out. Loved the kir royale and wine list. The olive bread is a must try - delicious! The caprese salad was one of the best I've ever had. It came with peppers, which I usually dislike, but it was amazing! I ate all the peppers. I had the mushroom ravioli with truffle and caviar cream. Needless to say it was divine and I devoured it. No room for dessert. Highly recommend for a date night, girls night out or a special occasion. A very special place! read more

My wife selected Renato's for my birthday celebration. She made a wonderful selection. Complimentary valet parking was a welcomed treat to start the evening. The 4 of us tried different entree's and appetizers giving us the opportunity to sample the enticing menu. While there is an Italian flair and menu items, Renato's is more than an Italian eatery. I found it to be more European, to include the feeling that we were somewhere else across The Pond. Dine outside if weather permits. It is Zen-like. read more
