Chicken parmigiana
Susanne H.

What did I like? The initial appearance of the building and the atmosphere. The inside is loud, so be mindful if you think you are going to have a nice quiet dinner. I would caution anyone when valet drives your vehicle. They have some parking on site, the rest is across the street. We stood there waiting for our vehicle as we watched how valet drove the cars like they were in the Indy 500, fast take off and hard braking. You do not have a option to self park. We were seated directly right next to a server station. We did place our order for burratta for our appatizer, and chicken parmaginana. Initially we forgot to tell the waiter no arugala for the burratta, as he was right next to us typing in the order to the computer. I politely asked him to not put arrugla on the burratta. Even though he was putting our order in, he threw his hands up. The chicken parmigiana did come out, as I ordered it. But, my issue is it was a very flat piece of chicken. The sauce was good, but it did not come with any pasta at all. I have this all over the world, this is the first place that did not include it, especially at the $33.00. I did order spaghetti to go along with it as that was the fastest pasta they could have out of the kitchen. As you will see on the bill, the pasta was free, but the marinara the pasta was in was $16.00. For chicken and pasta was $49.00, is beyond ludicrous. As we were finishing dinner, I had a medical boot that occupied my foot and half way up my leg that was very visible. As the manager was moving chairs around, he struck my boot and simply said sorry, and moved along. When he did that, my foot was under the table. I do not ever mind paying for a good meal and great service, however they fell short on both. The pricing structure is nothing short of price gouging. Would I return to this establishment, I would be very very hard pressed to even drive on property.

Came here to celebrate the anniversary of a special occasion we chose to celebrate here last year. My grandparents and mother are Italian and are friendly with some of the people here, though it was just myself and my husband dining this time. We made a reservation with a notation of the special event and were right on time. Valet was unfriendly and in no hurry to come get the car, despite not being busy and having no self park option. Service was impersonal but effective. Food was 5 stars, except for some small bones in my sea bass, but realistically I feel like it's bound to happen and not anyone's fault. The whole evening we watched the few other occupied tables receive attention from staff, personalized service and simply friendly conversation/ acknowledgment. I even noticed your typical palm beach type man with what looked like his rented date seated in a secluded nook, yet my husband and I were placed next to a man who was on a FaceTime call the entire time, despite our celebration. Also didn't appreciate when I asked if the tiramisu had an alcohol in it, he basically brushed me off and told me it's good and I should get it, while never definitively answering my question or even offering to check with the chef. Was bummed that our special occasion was not acknowledged despite having worked with the manager who was there personally to plan it last summer. Ultimately we left feeling like unless you are one of their regulars, they really don't care about your business. It's frustrating, as two professionals who are well dressed and polite, to receive subpar service in comparison to what we observed to be the obnoxious, rude and heavily surgically altered crowd that I guess they prefer serving. The food runners and busboys were friendly though.

Easily my new favorite Italian place in palm beach county. Our experience was fantastic from A to Z. Started with the meatballs and we got the ravioli and gnocchi for the main dish to share. Everything was SO GOOD. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and it's absolutely worth it. Do yourself a favor and treat yo self to some good food.

Great ambiance lots of tables no booths. My husband enjoyed his linguini and clams. The spicy penne was not really spicy - I added shrimp to the pasta.

We met friends here last month for dinner. I hadn't shown doing a review here, so I assumed we'd never been. But both the guys recognized the building and the interior layout once we were here. And as we dined, it became a bit more familiar to me. However, it was before I was yelping. so that means we visited more than nine years ago (!) and an updated review would have been necessary in any case. The building was lit and decorated even more so for Christmas. There's valet parking which is convenient. It's an upscale ambiance inside. You feel like you're coming to someplace special. There's a very large menu of selections and a lot of daily specials on a separate insert. The only real negative was that the room became a bit loud in volume as it filled up with diners. We started with an appetizer of prosciutto and melon that we shared. The prosciutto was top quality and very tender. The cantaloupe was sweet. It was a delicious combination of flavors. Our friends shared a caprese appetizer. They liked it. Both appetizers were split in the kitchen and appeared to be large portions. For our dinner entree, they had lasagna Bolognese, gnocchi with sausage, and we both ordered the pompano with a lemon butter sauce. The pompano was "melt in your mouth". It's one of my favorite fishes to order and I was a happy camper as I don't see it on a menu often. For dessert, we ordered their walnut apple strudel and four spoons -- to share. The strudel came with hazelnut gelato ice cream, but we substituted vanilla gelato instead. The restaurant is not inexpensive, but the food, the ambiance, and the service are up to the dining experience. I'd come back here again when looking to be pampered.

The Veal Milanese is very good. Especially with a side of Anchovies!

We love Cafe Sapori. The staff, the service and Freddie the Director of Vehicle Management are all as great as the food!

Crème brûlée with Grand Marnier ice cream & Classico Tiramisu with a white chocolate martini & espresso martini

If you're looking for an upscale, "old money" WPB vibe restaurant with amazing food & service, this is your place. We were in town for an anniversary trip & found this little gem online & don't have a negative thing to say. Service was spot on - prompt but not rushed, attentive but not overzealous. The wine list is comprehensive & the staff know how to pour nice wines to get the best flavor from the wine. But the food... just wow. Authentic Italian with unique menu items made it hard to choose. Hubby had the sausage ravioli & loved them; I opted for the tagliolini with imported white truffles. As an Italian who is picky about her pasta, this was absolutely some of the best pasta I've ever had & worth every penny. Our desserts came out with candles for our anniversary which was a really nice touch. The prices are reasonable for the atmosphere & quality of food/wine. In an area that seems to have a lot of Italian places, Cafe Sapori is the real deal & we'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

We came in tonight and the service was excellent. The menu is extensive and it was difficult to choose. We started with 1/2 portions of Ceasar salad which was ok, not cold and could have used more dressing but I was too hungry to ask. I ordered the parpadelle wth osso bucco. The sauce was nice but the portion size was small for the price. My friends and daughter enjoyed their meals. The tiramisu was great and a nice ending.

Delicious and great service. The ambiance was nice and cozy. Only bad thing was the location being by a main street but they put hedges to cover that up. Food was incredible! Great prices

We sat in the inside but the windows were open to the outside so you still feel like you're part of the life happening outdoors. I'm also a really big fan of their bar area. There partial indoor/outdoor seating. The inside has a real cute rustic Italian vibe. Our waitress Summer was amazing! Since it was our first time she helped guide us through the menu and made some great recommendations. She informed us that it is a scratch kitchen so I was excited to taste some fresh food. We started off with her recommendation of the house baked artisan bread. It does change, but it was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the sesame sourdough. For entree we got the Caesar salad which I loved. It was perfectly dressed with just the right amount of dressing and the dressing had a great balance of zest. The croutons were also crunchy and fresh. We also got the Piccante pizza which was so yummy! It has spicy salami and peppadews. I personally didn't find the pizza to be spicy but I am definitely not "Spicy Sensitive". I absolutely loved the little peppadews. They were like little bursts of flavor when you would bite into one. For dessert we got Summer's recommendation of the raspberry lemon bombolini as she told us the chef was testing out the flavors. It was so so good!! The bombolini itself was not greasy at all and was stuffed with a bunch of the raspberry cream. The lemon icing on top was nice and tart and made your mouth water with every bite! Definitely a great place to hang out.

Several semi booths surround the restaurant with very plush seating and chairs facing the other way. Several full tables in the center of the restaurant and a large bar in the back. My only complaint about the seating is that it makes you quite a bit lower than the table. I'm 6 foot 3 and my head was just barely above the table. The menu was small, but that's OK. I like a small menu. The hot rolls they begin with were fresh and warm. They could've used a little butter, but other than that they were quite tasty. The clam appetizer that we got was amazing. piled high with clams in the shell and topped with a large amount of chopped clams served in a white wine, buttery, garlicky sauce. My lobster raviolis were tender, full and covered in a delicious sauce. My brother's rigatoni Bolognese was perfectly al dente and covered with plenty of wonderful meat sauce. For dessert, I had a luxurious piece of chocolate upon chocolate cake while my brother enjoyed a raspberry cheesecake. Our server was quite attentive and very friendly. I am happy to say that during the course of our dinner more people did come into the restaurant and by the time we were finishing and were ready to leave there were maybe five or six groups of people eating. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would be happy to go there again.

I talk about the "curb-to-table" experience frequently. In my former role as a Delta Air Line Captain, I recognized the curb-to-plane challenges our customers encountered. Chef Conley has created a friendly and welcoming experience from curb-to-table. It starts with the complimentary valet. Finally. Finally. I learned about our regular valet: MANNY! Manny, thank you for the kindness and safe service you have given us. You are usually the first person who takes care of the Buccan Family. You create the smile before we walk in the doors of Buccan or Imoto. Thank you. Solang' (my spelling is probably wrong and I apologize): You are such a beautiful soul. Thank you for your kind words to Laura as we left. Kindness makes a difference. While kindness is free, sincerity is priceless. Wow, I haven't even chatted about the food. We tried something new this time. After our small plates, we tried the pork chop. The mild onion and sweet rhubarb---simply stunning. Even shared, we boxed some for home. I don't care if you are watching what you eat. Close your eyes! The chocolate cookies (warmed) are a must. Period. Selfishly, I hope Chef Clay never gets a tv show. A book deal is allowed. We want this local treasure and his team to remain anchored here. Clay and his team are own foodie treasure in our back yard. But wait, there's more: Honored to watch Chef Clay modestly expand the Miami environs. He will be opening his Buccan-Imoto-Buccan Sandwich Shop experience in Coral Gables sometime in June/July. OMG, we cannot wait for this to open. Though retired from the airlines (I miss my MIA overnights), we will make the trip to celebrate these new venues. However, we will do it very quietly. We do not wish to be labeled as stalkers. Probably one of my longest reviews. I love seeing hard working people succeed. What this team does for the community is simply breathtaking.
