Came during the grand opening. It was packed of course. I had never been to one before and wanted to see what the hype was. It was definitely an interesting night. There was a lot of people. The samples they were giving, people were just grabbing stuff. It was a madhouse. Which is expected for a grand opening and free food. I did go back and few days later just to look around and saw the prices and was shocked at some of the pizza slice prices at $13 up to i think $18 for not even a decent size slice. Its a cool concept and has specialty store with Italian products. You do have to pay to park in Cityplace hibiscus garage. First hour is free before 5pm M-F. Flat rate parking after 5 and weekends.

Macaroni drowned in pea sauce

Here's an honest review by people who go to Italy for extended periods of time, experience different cuisines from all over the country and hoped Eataly could replicate an authentic Italian meal...didn't happen. EATALY has lost its authencity and presents as an upscale, commercialized. and overpriced restaurant. The service was inconsistent and we had to ask for everything, including a serving spoon for our shared salad, pepper, grated cheese, etc etc. The $18 expresso martinis were half the size of a regular martini you might get in any upscale restaurant. The macaroni we had was overcooked and drowned in heavy pea sauce...what a shame since we counted on good daily made pasta...They don't drown their pastas in sauce in Italy. Pasta is delicately coated.... Be smart and don't get caught up in the hype. Unfortunately, we did and won't return.

Popped in for an afternoon pick me up! Got me a Chai Latte and a pistachio croissant. The Chai has a stronger hint of Cardamon and spices than most places. A small cup for $8 though! The Pistachio Croissant was not too sweet or over powering which was good. My daughter also enjoyed some mini tarts. The fruit, lemon merengue, chocolate mousse. All delicious.

What a disappointment. As this was their 1st day hopefully they can work out the bugs. For starters, service was slow. Even after getting a manager, it still was slow. We started with the focaccia. It was bland. The olive oil had hardly any taste. We then got the homemade pasta Bolognese. While the pasta itself was good, the sauce had again hardly any taste. My wife who is a good cook makes a very good bolognaise and it was quite a bit better than what we had today at Eataly. I expected better. Our salad which should have come prior to our bolognese was good and had a good taste. Note, we had to ask 3 other people about our salad as we had not gotten it. The staff seemed very disorganized. We also waited about 15 minutes to get our check after asking for it. After receiving it, I asked for the manager and complained to her. She then comped us for the bolognese. Since it was their 1st day we will give them the benefit of the doubt. Again, hopefully they will work out the bugs.

Beautiful new market in the heart of City Place. It is an Italian food hall with homemade pastas, cheeses, gelato, wine, chocolates, baked goods, produce & nicely packaged goods that would make wonderful hostess gifts for the holidays. There are tables for those that are picking up food to eat here & items packed to takeout. Prices are high, items imported & quality exceptional.

I'm so excited that one of my favorite buildings in West Palm Beach is getting new life as Eataly West Palm Beach. The newest location for Eataly is opening in the historic church that became the Harriet Himmel Gilman Theater. The building was constructed in 1926 as a Methodist church. During the Hurricane of 1928, the church basement was used to shelter people. By the 1980's, downtown West Palm Beach was rundown and associated with poverty and drug use. In 1996 in an effort to make the area more business and tourist friendly, the 55 acres surrounding the theater was demolished. Mayor Nancy Graham offered developers the opportunity to redesign the square as long as they preserved this building. The church underwent a six million dollar restoration by REG Architects turning into a multipurpose performance hall with shops on the first floor. It anchored City Place which is now called The Square. The 850-seat, 11,000-square-foot theater opened in 2000 and it was used for arts performances, receptions, community meetings and other events. The theater was named in honor of patron of the arts, Harriet Himmel who donated three million dollars in exchange for naming rights. The Harriet Himmel Theater in City Pace has been remodeled to accommodate the new Eataly which has opened in partnership with Related Ross. The grand opening is today, December 5th and the ribbon cutting is this weekend. This is the 19th location of Eataly and the second in South Florida. The first opened in Aventura. During opening night they were only serving pizza, gelato, and drinks. Starting tomorrow Eataly will be fully open. I love how Eataly is a place where you can eat, shop, and learn. You can dine in but you can also shop the market to pick up ingredients so you can cook at home. They also hold tastings and events. This is a wonderful addition to West Palm Beach for foodies and fans of authentic Italian cuisine and the old theater looks gorgeous.

This free-standing establishment has an elegant feel without the pretentiousness. With black and white modern decor and attentive staff, Pastaio's gave us a 5-star experience all around. Our server, Axel, was amazing - great suggestions, anticipated our needs but didn't hover. Our meal began with complimentary garlic bread that was warm, tasty and just plain good. My husband and I also ordered a salad - the burrata caprese - to split before our entrees came out. We gobbled up the dish quickly - it was fresh, colorful and light. For my entree, I ordered the spaghetti with marinara and my husband ordered the lasagna. We both truly loved our dishes - to the point that I joked that we would have to spend hundreds of dollars on Uber Eats to get this food to our house (3 hours away) whenever we craved Italian! It was that good and now I really want their spaghetti....(leaves to access Uber Eats)

Half the specials come with pasta and half don't chicken Parmesan yes the chicken franchise or chicken marsala no Kind of weird Wife liked her short rib with pasta Ragoo But said the pasta fagiole soup was bland and watery Eggplant stack had more spinach than eggplant White pizza with mushrooms with decent But Lenora's down the street is so much better for pizza and food wife's highlight was the cheesecake Then they had the audacity to charge 3.5% ops fee for changing supplier cost But you didn't even offer regular iceberg or Romain in the salads Sounds a bit sketchy Cannot conscientiously recommend when there are several better places nearby Anna's has a better pizza and Lenora is just good even the Greek place has some better pasta

When someone brings New York pizza roots down here, expectations go up immediately. The trip was worth it. The pizza had the things most Florida places miss. Proper crust with structure and light char. Thin but strong enough to hold the toppings without folding into a greasy mess. The sauce tasted balanced and fresh. Not overly sweet like a lot of places try to do. The cheese baked evenly with those golden spots you want to see. The pepperoni had the classic cup and crisp. Mushrooms tasted fresh instead of canned. Every bite had that simple New York style balance between crust, sauce, and cheese. What stood out most was the crust. That is where real pizza skill shows. Slight chew inside with a crisp exterior. That texture screams experience. You can tell this pizza comes from someone who learned the craft in Brooklyn and did not try to reinvent it. Just solid, traditional pizza made right. If you live anywhere near Lake Worth and want real New York style pizza, Little Italy Pizza is worth the drive.

It's definitely a hidden gem -- not crowded at all, which made it even more enjoyable. We finished off with two small cannoli, which were the perfect ending to our meal. We even had enough leftovers to take home! If you're looking for a homestyle Italian spot with great food, a relaxed setting, and wallet friendly this place is a must-try.

I didn't even check to what fresh pastas were available; this is what I used to purchase all the time. Service was spot on. I walked into the store and a clerk welcomed me and asked if I needed help. It is large and offers indoor as well as outdoor seating. I especially loved the decor and the t-shirts the staff were wearing that read "Hot Girls only need money and Pasta", it compliments my "Hot girls eat Pasta" hat We ordered the clams casino of which were tasty but a bit in the dry/overcooked side along with a salad that had mixed greens, sliced green apples, candied pecans, goat cheese and a lovely house made vinaigrette. For our entree we ordered the traditional Roman style cheese pizza. The crust was thin, and excellent sauce/cheese ratio and fresh basil. We wanted some authentic New York Italian food, I was skeptical but , we couldn't have been more pleased. Pastaio is a small authentic Italian restaurant the likes of which we have rarely seen. We grabbed 2 bar seats as we typically do. Troy was the bartender. Fantastic job. Personable and attentive. He made well crafted drinks with attention to detail. I had an old fashioned. Perfectly made , chilled and served over 1 large clear cube. My wife had a vodka/soda/ cranberry drink which was perfectly blended. To start we received a basket of bread. I normally wouldn't mention this but to call this "bread" would be an insult. This was warm delicious Tuscan Italian bread bathed in butter and covered in sharp fresh Parmesan . Literally a meal on its own. For the appetizer we went with the eggplant stack. Fantastic. Crispy eggplant , delicious authentic sauce smothered in rich mozzarella. Main course for me was homemade cavatelli in Sunday sauce. This included fall off the bone pork ribs and an incredibly authentic Italian meat ball. My 1st generation Italian family, including my mom would have loved this! My wife also had the home made cavatelli, however she chose the Cavatelli Trattoria. A delicious blend of chicken, spinach, cherry tomatoes and roasted herbs. Delicious. If you live in the Port Saint Lucie area and haven't been here and enjoyed a serious authentic Italian meal, this is your place. Ditch the Olive Garden and see what Italian food is really all about. We are anxiously awaiting our return to Florida and this is our first stop.!
