Good selection of Wisconsin food and beverage goods. Stopped here for fudge and cheese curds. Easy to get to right off the highway. Plenty of employees here to help. Store was very clean and they had ample parking.

Who doesn't like a cheese shop in Wisconsin? I loved the selection of cheese available and wanted to purchase some cheese badly. I, however, had no way to get the cheese home safely. I had no questions for the help. However, my wife did, and this is when we learned about getting the cheese home without spoiling. The shop is new and well laid out for all the cheese heads. I saw some 15-year-old cheese that I would have loved to try, but this was not the time.

    Can't wait to try these!

Great fresh squeaky cheese curds! The employee offered to do a special blend of spices and they were wonderful. A must stop from now on

This place is always bustling with customers! The cheese samples are amazing and plentiful. The folks working there offer a friendly and welcoming environment; and they know a lot about their cheeses! Be sure to stop here in your way to/from Door County! And, yes, fresh cheese curds really do "squeak"!

    Monte Cristo. So good!

Glad that I got my cheese curds during my Wisconsin visit! Pros: -they have more than just cheese! They had desserts, meats, bottled jams, and more. -they were offering cheese samples -towards the right side of the store, they had ice cream as well as a variety of food items to order -the monte cristo was so yummy. Get it! -friendly staff -free parking lot -restrooms located inside -outdoor seating is available -grassy are by the parking lot for dogs Cons: -n/a

First time at this place while driving back from Door County. It was super delicious and only took about 15 minutes! We even got to do little cheese samples and dips for crackers. Ambiance is like any other restaurant in a gift shop. Was pretty chill overall. I would come again! Also LOVEE their ice cream. I got the caramel and 2 scoops of cotton candy!!

What a nice three generation family cheese store! As a billboard announces them a few miles ahead, Renards can be found sitting right off state highway 57, easily seen by all who pass by. When we walked in, we noticed an entire counter of cheese samples and a dedicated staff member there just to SERVE US CHEESE- how awesome! Whatever "cheeses" you may like, they probably have it ..cheese curds, string cheese, smoked string cheese, soft cheese like pate', brie, hard cheeses like cheddars, cherry cheddars, cheese spreads, cheese and sausage packages, olives, and small charcutier trays. They even had a chocolate cheese! Additionally, they carry sauces, jams, jelly's, honey mustards, horseradish, peanut butter snacks like cookies and fudge, cherry topped cinnamon rolls, cherry pie, cherry spread, cherry infused chicken salad, many desserts either infused with cherry or cooked with cheese, you name it - they've probably got it! The site also has a small deli that has its own menu and serves hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, salads, fried curds, and many other items. There is something for everyone. I ordered a cherry chicken salad wrap- but asked to have mine on sourdough instead of a wrap and they accommodated me without question. My husband ordered the Muffuletta sandwich, which was so big he couldn't get it in his mouth - but of course he eventually did!! He loved it. His and my sandwiches both came with a side of greens with pickled onions under a light homemade dressing. Try the cheese, try some lunch, try some snacks, yry some desserts....But be sure to ask how the food and/or sandwiches are dressed, and what sides come with so you won't have any surprises!! For gift giving, there are individual packages of candies, popcorns, almond brittle, macarons, baklava, and pastries like turnovers, cinnamon rolls and fudge. As seen in the pictures below, they have a vast cheese fridge where numerous types of cheese can be purchased in a variety of sizes. This was a wonderful stop which I hope to make again on my next visit to the Green Bay area! Enjoy- we sure did!!

My first must stop when visiting the Door! Started here for a lovely infamous cherry French toast cheese stuffed ooie gooey goodness with fresh whipped cream and lovely fresh fruits. The egg sausage burrito was perfectly stuffed and wrapped on a delicious light and flakey tortilla also with fresh salsa and fruits. This will be my must stop from now on!

Best cheese curds I ever had. Fresh, a little wet, squeeky, salty, and uber savory. These are an essential stop en route to Door County.

I was overwhelmed by all of the varieties, so I asked the cheesemonger (is that what you call them?) to just bring out samples of the popular ones. I tasted a gouda (Marieke Golden), a garlic and herb BellaVitano, an aged white cheddar, and a hatch pepper gouda. I ate lots of little bites of cheese, which was very satisfying. They have all types of cheese made from three types of milk: cow's milk, goat's milk, sheep's milk, plus cheese made from a mixture of two or three. The cheese shop is small, so the cheese tasting happens right at the counter. After your tasting, you can say bye-bye and leave, or you can buy-buy some cheese to take with you. They also have other snacks that go with cheese, like crackers, nuts, jams, and candies. They also have cheese accessories, like cheese purses, shirts and other things.

After tasting some of the taffy, I bought a few pieces for my kids. They have a rainbow assortment of taffy in all kinds of flavors: banana, birthday cake, tropical fruit, etc. The fudge was fine, too, but fudge isn't really my thing, so I can't tell you if it was amazing or not. The chocolates within the cases (truffles, fudge, etc.) are entirely unmarked, with no clearly visible signs indicating price, even per pound. That already came off as a bit fishy, but going up to the register confirmed my suspicions--this place is atrociously expensive. The chocolate itself wasn't good unfortunately, every flavor I tried just tasted like sugar and nothing else. The purchase, which totalled to $70 for 2 cherry chunks and 5 truffles (mind you truffles are maybe 1/8 the size of your palm...) ended up being something I had regrets over, as I didn't enjoy a single item from it. The store does have some good points, the service isn't bad by any means, but you could find better candy at pretty much any other store/fudgery for half the price.
