I really hate to do this but I had to come back and update my review. Where to start. My first project with Jemner was the repair project where my AC didn't have a water level sensor shutoff and the condensation overflowed and poured through my ceiling. They made it look like it never happened. A couple years later I decided to hire him for a much bigger project of painting cabinets, walls, new counter tops, backsplash, baseboards etc. At first, the cabinets looked INCREDIBLE. Everything we hoped for. But after living in it for a few months the paint began to split and flake away. (See photos). You can tell a lot of the cabinets weren't sanded or filled correctly. The satin paint finish (Jemner's recommendation - said it was what he recommended to everyone) either wasn't capable of the abuse kitchen cabinets take or it wasn't prepped/applied correctly. Either way, it wasn't a good result. Every single cabinet door that they reinstalled after being painted had the hinges screwed back in using a power drill with no max torque setting which allowed the screws to rip away at the wood. This resulted in every single... and I mean EVERY SINGLE cabinet hinge coming loose after a few weeks because the screws had nothing to grip on. Open the door and it immediately drops 1/4 inch. If you didn't notice that happen then when you shut the door, instead of it going back into place, it would bump into the cabinet door above or below it immediately chipping the paint despite having soft closing hinges (that's how bad the paint job was). When they reattached the drawer fronts they didn't screw the fronts back into the drawer box the way they should be (inside of the box straight into the drawer front). Instead they just held the fronts up against the drawer box and sent new randomly sized screws into the inner corners of the box and into the front which has left nearly every front slightly unlevel. I only noticed this today (hence why I finally decided to update this review) when one started really going uneven and I went to investigate. What I found was the inner corner screws and noticed they sent a screw through the paint of the drawer front when reattaching the fronts and then crudely painted over it (it's so obvious now that I am aware of it). Terrible work. In addition to the shoddy paint job and reinstallation of the cabinet doors - he charged me for the paint ($800) in addition to the price he quoted me despite saying the total included all paint and materials. Moving onto my door frames. What a nightmare. They had to come back multiple times to fix their work. They missed spots with the paint, they got paint on the wall (different color) all around the place. They PAINTED OVER MY DOOR HINGES and their justification was "you said you were going to replace them eventually". Oh, so I guess in the meantime I want them crudely painted over with white paint?? Also, since they had to sand and paint the inner door frames to match the new paint, almost none of my doors will shut correctly now. I tiled my guest bathroom myself but didn't want to deal with the baseboards so I hired them for that too. That was probably the best result of everything in this big project despite it being pretty awful. every corner where the baseboards meet for a 90 degree turn had gaps between them and were unbelievably crudely caulked to fill the 1/4 inch gaps. I can't tell you how much paint I've had to clean off of my hardwood floors, windows, and furniture. Thank god I went with matte wall paint because it has been fairly easy to remove with warm water. But let me just say, they did not care about where paint went. My $800 soundbar with a fabric front and the back of my brand new 70" TV in my living room where they painted the walls had paint all over them and couldn't get it removed. I have tried to get them to remedy it but every time they come to fix one thing they make something else worse. Jemner and his son are very nice but their team is lazy and unskilled. Now the worst part. Disgusting even. One of the guys (maybe more than one) used the guest bathroom when nature called. I didn't think it was right to deny them that access when Jemner asked me if they could during the project. Well, after they left for the day mid project, I went to use the bathroom and noticed something in the trash bin. There was a huge and THICK smudge/smear of poop on top of the bin with toilet paper hanging from it. They were throwing their poopy toilet paper into my out in the open trash bin instead of flushing it. Wretched! The worst part is it was left in such a way that there is NO WAY they didn't realize it was fully exposed like that. Epilogue: they ate all of our fancy/expensive handmade chocolate my wife and I brought back from our first ever trip to Europe. Jemner offered to buy us more but it was from a small hole in the wall chocolate shop in Italy so it was irreplaceable. Point being, his team is rude and inconsiderate. read more

Loved their work. Recently moved into a 3650 Sq Foot home that was left in a very ugly state (dirty walls, spackle without sanding, non matching paint spots in every spot of the home, in every room) .. Jenner and Alex showed up and gave me a reasonable quote and came in the next morning & worked from 8am to about 8pm in giving an amazing finished product, cleaning up all the nasty nonsense I dreaded living in .. power had not been turned on yet (nothing until the next day, Monday), so they used my rented generator to activate power in the home so they could finish as the sun went down. I highly recommend these guys and won't hesitate to use them again. THANKS JENNER! read more

Jenner & Alex are amazing contractors to work with! Their team renovated our bathrooms, sliding doors, flooring & kitchen. They were super patient, flexible, dependable & professional throughout the whole renovation process of our home. They patiently worked with all of our decisions & gave us advice along the way on how to renovate all parts of our home the way we wanted & in a cost-efficient way. Our kitchen was our biggest project; they remodeled our 1960s kitchen & turned it into a place we love spending time in! Their team refaced & painted our cabinets, installed new flooring, new appliances, replaced our laminate countertops with quartz countertops & installed a custom washer/dryer unit. We had a brand new beautiful kitchen in less than two weeks!! We gave them a vision, budget & timeline & they worked with us to make it a dream come true! We highly recommend them for any of your home repair & home renovation needs! read more

I first got in contact with Jemner because I was looking to demo some cosmetic exterior walls and he was able to come over immediately and start the next morning which was critical due to a fence project we have ongoing. Jemner and his crew went above and beyond for me, he was able to salvage different elements from our house and went out of his way to tie everything back in after patching up. I was so happy with his service that I immediately hired him to paint our entire house. Jemner went to work immediately after the holiday. He was extremely knowledgeable on every element of the project, and often made suggestions that were clearly the best course of action. His team was incredibly hard working and courteous, making sure everything was taken off the home properly and sealed. The end result was fantastic and I really applaud Jemner and his team for accommodating every last minute request whilst still doing an incredible job until the end. Overall, the people at Gomez Renovations are hard working, respectable, and honest down to every detail and seem to never cut corners. I am excited to work with Jemner in the future for just about every project we have. read more

We hired Jenner and his crew to demo a large car port on the side of our house. He provided a reasonable price and stayed within his estimate. The job took about 3 days. Each day they were on time and worked until the sun set. Jenner was great at communicating what needed to be done to get the job right and we are extremely happy with the results. We will definitely be using him for any future projects and highly recommend him if you're thinking about one. read more

Had Mr Gomez go out to my brothers condo in need for some fire repairs due to no one had lived in it for about a year or so I was made aware. It was outdated (1981) hut the area is top in the nation so Gomez said he could give me a good price if I wanted to remodel . I said ok and gave my brother a plan to follow and what upgrades to do and Gomez added his experience and knowledge to make it unique . I used a European style I sketched up and they did a great job on following it without me having to be there . I was able to find a contact to supply him with Italian materials and in the end when I received the FaceTime tour of it = 1000% whole new look. Have worked with him on other projects without having to be there physically and always does a great job following my visions while adding his expertise on what I can and can't do lol . read more

The team did a very good job. I had a kitchen remodel done and a bathroom. Everything works well and looks great. We added a few extra small projects along the way, moving piping, opening a wall, baseboards etc. these all added ALOT of cost that i was not expecting . If i were to do it again i would definitely get a break down of exactly what each add on would cost prior to doing it all. Overall very happy and was worth the money. read more

We have the absolute worst experience with Jemner and his team. Although they were very punctional the communication was seriously a problem. WE agreed upon a price and when it came down to the final bill it came in at almost 2100 dollars more than initially agreed upon. My wife and I hired him to remodel our powder room. I gave him a picture with exactly what we wanted and ask him to duplicate the wains coating, crown molding etc. I also mentioned to him that he could not place painters tape on my wood floors because when removing it the tape would cause the finish to be removed. I thought he understood( boy was I mistaken) . They went ahead and placed it on my engineered hardwood flooring anyway. They also placed the wains coating in the incorrect position and place molding behind the vanity. This unfortunately would not allow the vanity to be set properly. He removed the brand new wains coating but left a piece above the vanity which I ask him to remove but he would not cooperate. I had to get a hardwood flooring repairman to come out and repair my floors and take out the damaged boards and use new planks that I was saving for a future job. Still not completed and will cost several thousands of dollars. The wood product does not exist any longer so I will be short for my future kitchen remodel now. He then even knowing that we were unhappy tried to insist that I pay him 6250.00 dollars when we already agreed upon a price. I also have a floor that is still not repaired. So not only is the powder room a disaster, they ruined my home, painted my sidewalk with white paint, which will need to be power washed. I will also have to buy more wood that will not match to repair my floors, hire a new contractor to fix the damage to both my wood floors and powder room . My wife is super upset and I can't get Jemner to fix his mistakes and make it right. I called, texted and even spoke to his son Jemner Junior and ask him to come fix the work but they blocked me and ghosted me. No calls nothing. I gave him the opportunity to fix the problem however Jemner told his son(Jemner Jr) that he didn't finish the job because I did't pay him all the money that was on the estimate. Not true and I should have not paid him the amount I did. WHAT A DISASTER!! read more

Jenner and Alex did a great job! I called them for a quote to replace a Roman faucet for my fiberglass tub that had no access. I received a response quickly along with a ballpark quote based on a photo. I was able to schedule a visit within a day. Since they were out I also asked them to quote fixing my wooden fence post that was causing the gate not to close. They said they could take care of that as well.
