I had an amazing time shooting here. Prices were really reasonable compare to my experience at other shooting range. The facility is very clean and new. All the staffs were super friendly and helpful. They had a wide range of guns selections. We chose to do the unlimited guns and it was definitely worth it. We shot for 2.5hrs using 6 different guns and it costed about +$200/person. However, it does depend on the type of guns you are picking. I would still recommend giving this place a try and if you're someone that really enjoy shooting and live in the area, they do have membership available that has benefits, which is something one can look at. read more

I have gone to Reloaderz a few times over the time they have been open. In my location I would say there are at least 4-5 different ranges near me (within 30ish minutes of driving). Of those, they are one of the best. The staff are all ridiculously friendly and helpful, they actually want to be there, and the place looks well-kept. They are very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and their prices are very, very, good. They offer an "À la cart" style range experience where if you have everything but the range it's very affordable and if you need absolutely everything... you won't break the bank! They also offer training and memberships that seem pretty cool. I will definitely be checking out the training. I spent around 2 hours there last week trying to find a handgun I could purchase for my own self-defense; Mike, one of the managers, and a ton of other staff (4 range officers and 2 others) were incredibly helpful in my experience. I went in there with little knowledge on handguns (I shoot trap mostly) and came out knowing exactly what I needed. The only reason I didn't purchase my gun there (yes they have TONS of accessories and weapons to purchase too) was because it was so in-demand they didn't have any left. So me and the wife decided to try going to a gun range for the first time. Since we are from NYC there is no where to go and the city has a ton of regulations. However about 45 min from the Bronx we ended up checking out Reloaderz. Well I have to say we were blown away. The check in process was super easy. After check in we got to choose our weapon of choice. Since both of us didn't have experience the staff was really cool at helping us choose a firearm. Once we got on the range the Safety Officer Ray was super cool and helpful. He literally had us safety trained and firing a Glock 19 Gen 4 in 10 minutes. We purchased 100 rounds of ammo and went to town. If you are looking to try shooting for the first time this is the place to go. Helpful staff, clean facility and well presented firearms. My wife is hooked and they better get used to us because we will be back. read more

Clean. Helpful. Simple. It can be intimidating coming in as a first timer but the staff, from front desk to the training room, were all so patient and encouraging and super helpful. My brother and I came in to celebrate my birthday. We got the pistol pass which allowed us to swap out guns. Let me preface this by saying that the only other time I've been to a shooting range in NJ was when I went to Guns For Hire in Woodland Park. I usually go to shooting ranges in the Poconos Wilkes-Barre area. The one thing I really liked about this place is the overall friendliness of the staff. They are there to help you and always have a smile on their faces--you can tell that they really love their jobs. Now the downsides do kind of outweigh the positives about this place, but they are all things that can be fixed in my opinion. For starters, it's the miscellaneous fees that just keep adding up. The range time, gun rental, safety equipment costs are all understandable, but why am I paying both a membership fee and a guest fee also (one time fee but still). I think the one that shocked me the most was the $85 cost of a 100 pack of 9mm bullets (that's almost a dollar for each individual bullet)! I should've known the bullets would be expensive because the price of the ammunition is one of the prices omitted from their website. The pistol that we rented also kept jamming, but I don't know if that had to do with the bullets or the gun itself. The total that we paid for two people with the most basic essentials (safety, pistol, bullets, membership, first time guest charge, etc.) was $205. All in all, my girlfriend and I had fun. read more

I have been at this range a couple of times. Very patient instructors and helpful RSOs. Prices are good and the place is very clean. The environment is designed with important details in mind like preparation tables before entry to the range and a hand-washing sink upon exit from the range. I am a new shooter and only shot once before eons ago, but I got a gift card to go and as they are very close to the office I decided coming with a friend after work would be a fun way to start the weekend. And I was right. Since my only prior experience in an indoor range was through a groupon deal I really can't feel what is fair and what isn't. But that being said I had fun. Soon as you walk in you're greeted by a friendly person welcoming you inside. Being my first time there I watched the safety video, which is always a good idea to have first time or tenth. I was overwhelmed with the amount of weapons one can choose but I went with their recommendation and the range safety officer, I believe his name was Eddie was fantastic. Extremely patient and was able to explain what I was doing wrong and how to correct it. Even if he had to repeat it 30 times before clicking. While I do understand their policy on not having a buddy with you without a permit when renting a firearm it is disappointing that I have to plan visits with friends. As it can be an expensive hobby, having someone else tag along can be difficult, mainly because I'm so close and others may not be. But I fully appreciate their reasoning. The range itself is extremely clean and modern (almost the exact opposite of the place I went to the first time). I felt it was a very safe and enjoyable experience that I hope to do more often. read more

We've been here twice on Saturday and both experiences were amazing! Come early on the weekends for no wait. Later in the day you'll have to wait but it's well worth it! They are thieves! I went during the summer. They wanted to charge me $40 for 20 rounds of ammo!!!!!! And you are not allowed to bring your own ammo. F. them. I went to other ranges, and they tried to keep the price as low as they can for their customers. I am goin to boycott them and bad mouth them until the end of my time on earth. read more

June was the second time I had booked lessons for myself and daughter. The first time, we had taken a female firearms class. It was great, and it really helped to decrease our anxiety around firearms. The place is clean, professional, and employs knowledgable staff. This last visit, we opted for a semi-private class, with an hour of instruction and an hour in the range. Our instructor's name was Yan, and I couldn't have asked for a better fit for us! He was very patient , even if we did ask the same questions over and over. To say I need practice is an understatement, but by the end of that lesson, we were taking some pretty good headshots and we learned a whole lot! I have to drive a bit further to go to this range. Although there are many in my area that are less expensive, the level of comfort you feel at this range is worth it, especially if you're bringing your kids. Registration process was easy, we had to watch introductory video, which was fast. Then we gave ID's and off to picking what we want to shoot with and the targets. Do not be fooled by the good reviews. This place is a joke. We went as group we all got our members ship cards (they were quick to get us signed up and take our money) and then the wait... We waited for over 2 hours, which is a joke. The place is poorly managed. The only reason why this place makes any money is because there are not that many ranges in the area. I spoke to the person who registered us and they said that people with a membership have priority so if you are waiting and a bunch of members show up, you are waiting even longer. Its all about the money in this place. So if you want to go somewhere were your money means more than a pleasurable experience Reloaderz is the place. read more

Went here a bunch of times always during the week. Went here today (Sunday) and the place was packed. Told there was a wait of 45 min to an hour. Ok we wait. An hour told by and we are still waiting. I ask how much longer is the wait and in told there are 2 groups ahead of us. So we wait more. FIVE gross of people walk out and we are still not called, getting ready to leave and we get called up ok, we get in and guess what, ALL PORTS ARE EMPTY!!!! i don't get it. I will never again go on the weekend. As we're leaving were being pitched a "membership". Really I jus t waited close to 2 hours for no reason and you want me to spend more money? Hi, I never post anything. You always hear that people only post the bad stuff. I have to give this business five stars because of how amazing they have been each time I called and when I went in for the first time today. I have very little experience in shooting ranges or with guns. I had every single question you could think of As a first timer and everyone I interacted with there was amazingly friendly and helpful. The concierge Desk was a female who was super friendly and helpful and offered a great service. She laminated my FID card for five dollars. I spoke with two reps at the rental desk and they each were so helpful. The shooting range rep named Frank was more than willing to show me how to shoot a mossberg shotgun. Admittedly, I had never shot a shotgun before and I was nervous about the kickback. He gave me pointers and was amazingly helpful. They have the covid safety protocols down as well! I'll go back for sure. Theres a closer shooting range to my house that has given me a completely different experience each time I called. I've spoken with at least two people there and both were completely apathetic and offered no solutions on how to do business with them since it wasn't convenient at the moment. I spoke with someone today who just gave me a flat " no " when I asked if I could set up an appointment to come in. I understand if they have guidelines of when to come in but it came off as rude and didn't give the impression that he cared to do business. It wasn't the first time I got that type of response when I called. I'm sure any business these days once as much business as possible. I suggest putting a little bit of effort in customer service. I did not have that problem with Reloaderz. read more

To be honest I was chocked be the experience and I will not recommend anyone to buy from them. On the website ("As part of our "premier shooting range experience" you can take part in a personal gunfitting session with one of our firearm concierges. ") I went there to buy rifle the man was so upset and angry it the way that you feel your not welcomed in there store, I tried to start conversation with him to ask what his recommendation, the answer that I get (this the only AR that we have!!) I asked him about another rifle he has on the display, his answer ("this 2000$ rifle are u sure u want to see it"), this the type of experience:) When I'm paying, he asked me do you want magazine I said it comes with one right? he said yes, I said I need one more, he said I will give two. :) so he handle me 3 magazine in total... So I thought that's nice at lease he offer me free magazine.... Guess what, after I left I saw the receipt he charged me 45$ for 3 magazine 15$ each.  Anyway I bought the gun, I went home to find out that the same gun is 370$ chipper online and it's 270$ cheaper at the store that 15 min away from reloaderz, so I called the next day. I told the guy on the phone that I found the gun cheaper in other local store, he said he can give me 40$ refund. When I went to pick up the gun the guy on the front has no idea about the refund so they give me 2 X30 min passes for the range....... I think the owner need to read those reviews since most of people having the same problem with this place, and try to handle the problem not the reviews. read more

State of the art range. Went here with my uncle who is a member, so we got to go in before open. Was super impressed when I walked in, the wall behind the register is digital with guns hanging, showing their name and origin. Best part was definitely the range officers, one was NRA certified and kept coming up to me and helping me with my shot. Out of all the ranges in North NJ, would definitely say this is the best kept one. read more

Pros: The range staff (RSO) are amazing!!! They are patient, informative, and overall phenomenal at delivering a safe and fun experience. Thank you Pete, Glen, Frank, and Emilio. The location is kept clean and well-maintained, and they keep all the "expert" shooters in check when they decide to "flex their guns", so it's safe for the rest of us! Cons: The rental and phone staff aren't always on point with the information they provide. I usually call in advance asking for prices on ammo and availability of rentals. I'll then show up the next day or even the next hour and the story is different (no its not because someone else is using the gun I wanted to rent or because the price just changed). My latest incident involved me being told a 9mm box (50 count) was $50.00, only to get to the range and be told that it's $60.00. I then request a specific pistol that they say they have to rent, bring the case into the range, have it opened up by an RSO, only to see that it's a different gun. I then have to go back to get the right one, and get told that they never had it available to shoot in the first place, after originally saying that they did! Oh, and this is all while eating up my range time (that you pay for)! It's literally a mindf***! I still give this place 4 stars, despite the latter part of my review. The RSOs make up for the short fallings of the front staff. At the end of the day, most of the time is actually spent in the range, learning new skills/tactics, having friendly banter, and oh yeah... shooting guns!!! That in itself is good, quality time well spent! read more

First and last time going there!! I am a member of gunforhire range and due to it being extremely busy during spring break decided to give this place a shot. Got there and the place was pretty empty, I was charged for registration without being told that i would be charged, brought my newly acquired m17 and wanted to zero my reflex sight. Got into my portal kept my weapon facing down range and got continuously harassed by one RSO about gun safety. I never removed the gun from the portal and it was always facing down range. Unprofessional, extremely rude and overall a horrible experience. read more

Professional, Informative and Fun Experience Took the 1:1 Fundamentals course, as a first-time firearm owner I found it to be perfect for me. Mike Lynch was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and he demonstrated passion for both shooting and teaching. The store/range is kept very clean, is very spacious and both staff and customers were great about wearing masks and promoting social distancing. Despite being very nervous to get onto a range for the first time, I walked away from the 2-hour session feeling much more comfortable knowing the basics of being a responsible gun owner. Purchased a rifle a few months back from them. Rifle was never fired and was seeking a fair exchange for a pistol or two. Owner offered $400 credit for a rifle in high demand (AR-15) that I bought from them for $1,400 just one/two months earlier. I certainly recognize that taking weapon back is tricky but what they offered was insulting and furthermore shameful customer service. I noticed there are now signs on walls indicating all sales final on guns and ammo. In addition, while the facility is impressive, it was loaded with teens/twenty-somethings renting weapons for range practice and no apparent concern for social distancing. As one of the 8 million new gun owners in the US in 2020, I know it can be intimidating walking into a gun shop for the first time, especially in NJ. Before going to Reloaderz, I went to a few of the other big shops in the area. It was the same thing every time. The staff were rude, unpleasant and seemed like it was an inconvenience for them to answer your questions. I almost gave up, then a friend mentioned Reloaderz. I actually live very close and decided to give it a go. The first thing, this place is huge, which is good for social distancing, and super clean. When I entered, I was immediately greeted by a very nice young lady who was able to direct me to the sales department. While waiting for the salesperson, I checked out the range which you can see through large glass windows. I noticed there were range safety officers throughout. I'll write a review for the range once I use it. So as I was waiting for my turn with sales, I could feel my anxiety go up due to my previous experience with those other shops. As I got to the counter, I was greeted by Jon, who was surprisingly nice and very professional. I immediately felt at ease. I did not feel rushed, he answered all my "newbie" questions, and I purchased my first gun, a Sig Sauer P320. After my NICS came back a couple weeks later, I received my purchase. I then purchased the Premium membership. As I'm writing this review, I haven't used the range yet, and will review when I do. I noticed many reviews saying Reloaderz "charge to much for ammo", this is not their fault, it's due to a major shortage throughout the entire US right now. I feel their prices are in line with the rest of the country. So if your new to the gun game, and know what it's like to feel intimidated by some of these other gun shops around NJ, then check out Reloaderz, I promise you will not regret. read more

This place was super fun, clean and the staff was nice and helpful. We had to watch an 8min video, sign a bunch of disclosures on an iPad and then we were allowed to shoot. We tried three handguns with 100 rounds for all three and for 30minutes it was $140. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to share guns and share time as this slows everything down and you don't get the full experience for your money. May have been a better experience if they kept up with their fame however it is all about money and not experience. The place is nice, and the Range Safety Officers are top notch and courteous. However everything else is overpriced, starting from the ammunition. Yet it is oversubscribed so they can get away with it. I went to get a new handgun, only one(!), but was quite turned off by the staff brushing me off as they were so busy with other clients. Their membership prices are the most expensive in the tristate area. Their FFL prices are twice as much and everything else on display is market up 60% or more. Simple items like electronic ear protection is around $45 at Amazon where it started at $79 at Reloderznj. I am not going back, I would suggest Gun For Hire in Woodland Park. It's a shame they are so money oriented, the place was literally 5 minutes from my home. Oh well. Hope this helps to all "moderate" gun enthusiasts in the area. All the best! read more

Excellent class along with Tamer being so versed on the law. He is just the best both in class and in the range.
