    A lie

Drove almost two hours to get here on a Monday. Claim to close at 8pm and arrived at 5:30pm. The neon sign was on and said open. Parked the car and walked to the entrance. By the time I got to the door the gate was closed and the sign was off. Called and no answer. No sign on the door. Just decided to pack up early I guess?? 3 other cars showed up just as confused as I was.

Well tina and I finally got out to shoot our new guns we had since May She has a 38 and I have a Glock 40 cal It cost us $105 each that was with the purchase of 50 rounds each I have to say everyone was very helpful and friendly. It was a good day not busy at all the. The safety guy Skip, I have to say at first glance looked like he was a mean guy but you can't judge a book by the cover. He was friendly easily approachable and had a good sense of humor. He was extremely helpful to Tina Hmmmmm a little too helpful. " step back Skip". Hahahahahahah Was a great hour we will be back soon

I took my husband here for his birthday. I've never been to a gun range before and neither has he, but he has gone paintball shooting, so needless to say, he has more experience in the gun arena than I do. Reloaderz NJ is located in an excellent location. We traveled via the highway, so right as you exit, Reloaderz NJ, was standing tall and proud, so unless you were somehow distracted, there is no way that you could miss it. Parking is a no brainer. With two parking lots located in the front and in the back of the establishment, unless there was a huge event going on and everyone and their grand mama decided that they wanted to go to Reloaderz NJ on the day that you wanted to go, parking is easy to find and a space is always available. Upon our entrance, we were immediately greeted with an array of firearms displayed everywhere. There were firearms inside of cases, firearms available for purchase at their Pro Shop, firearms on the left of you, the right of you, in front of you and depending on how you were standing, there were firearms in back of you. I've never before seen so many guns in one place, so I had a little kid in the candy store kind of experience. Before you can begin to even get your hands on a gun, you'll have to go through a process. If it's your first time visiting Reloaderz NJ, you'll have to sit or stand, whichever you prefer, to watch an introductory video into the world of guns which will cost you 8. minutes. of. your. life. You'll be shown how to call for help if you need to and no you do not say "HELP". Then they show you how to load and unload a gun and finally how you should point your gun and lay it down when you're not using it. All good stuff and not precisely in that order. When you're finally done, you can finally head over to the concierge line to get started and check in. You'll have to hand over your license or an acceptable form of ID and pay for your session. Knowing that I wanted to make the most of our time since we're not NJ natives, I knew the 60-Minute Lane Rental, which was $30 would be ideal for us. I also opted to do the Unlimited Rental Pass, which was $50. In my mind, $80 was looking great. I also had a $10 coupon for checking in on Yelp and a $10 coupon for signing up for their email. So with $20 knocked off, I was looking to spend about $60 for our stay. Crazy, right? Here's where things turned a bit grey and caused me to mentally clutch my non-existent pearls. Looking online, I thought the prices were crazy reasonable. I felt like I hit the jackpot in securing this steal of a deal or so I thought. Compared to other websites, this one was significantly cheaper, but once it came time to pay, I immediately felt bamboozled. Maybe it was an oversight on my part or my nievete about shooting ranges, but I assumed that the cost of the ammo was included with the package. It didn't state anywhere on the site, at least I didn't see it, that the ammo was sold separately from the package. I would've appreciated it more and had a more realistic expectation instead of a never going to happen pipe dream. So in reality I spent over $200+. The ammo was about $20+ each depending on the type of gun you had. Over all, my husband enjoyed it and didn't even want to switch out his gun, the Daniel Defense for something else. I had to remind him that we had the Unlimited gun package. When it came time to switch, the supply was short or they were out of ammo for different types of handguns and rifles to choose from. So we stuck with the original guns. I ran out of ammo and didn't want to pay an additional price for more ammo and more time. The most important thing was that my husband had a great time and found a new "toy" that he wants to play with and I gained some knowledge about what to expect at the shooting range.

Not pleasant dealing with a gift card issue. Also noticed only negative reviews are cut off unless you go to the app.

Can anyone tellis something about ammo prices?

I would buy ammo somewhere else besides the range. It's always expensive there. Just the way it is. Bring it yourself. Make sure it's FMJ. Not steel.

I've recently rekindled the 2nd Amendment hobby from my younger days and this range has been…read moreamazing. I grew up handling firearms in Texas and Oklahoma and the ranges there are frankly somewhat lacking in many regards. RSOs are far and few between, safety is taken somewhat lightly, and in in general a lot of the ones I've been to aren't very well run, from membership process to ammo sales to rentals, etc. In Oklahoma specifically, I once witnessed someone discharge a .50 caliber magnum into the ceiling by mistake in the port next to me by someone who decided that starting their firearm journey with the largest revolver they could rent was a good idea. Ummmm.... Gun for Hire to me has been somewhat of a shock in how well it operates, and how nice and knowledgeable everyone is. This place is run like a Rolex factory. I became a member after the first visit. I've now brought both family friends and members to this place at least half a dozen times and every time our experience has been extremely positive. From the registration process, to the rental process to the RSOs giving tips and advice to newbies everything has been spotless so far. Rental ( non-member range ) practically has RSO for every port, and member range typically has around 2 RSOs (due to a more knowledgeable clientele). Chief RSO is a distinguished gentleman whose stories are as awesome as his mustache. Gun for Hire shop is staffed by very knowledgeable people and they sold me my first dream gun (John Browning's classic in Lord's Caliber) and I really appreciated their advice on everything from magazine selection to maintenance tools, to future purchases. If they don't have something in the shop they will write the item description on the super-cute "prescription pad" for you to be able to look them up elsewhere. Special shout out to the Gunsmith Mike who is super chill, and has helped me get my 1911 running like clockwork post-break-in period. He provided me with a ton of maintenance tips which saved me a lot of effort and time (and prevented me from doing an "idiot scratch"). Lastly, I'll address some of the extremely negative reviews that I've seen here for this place. You come to a place where you are handed a murder machine that you can fit comfortably in your hand. Follow the 4 rules or else FAFO. Yes I have definitely seen RSOs raising their voice to people doing stupid things in the rental area. That IS THEIR JOB. If you are handed a destructive device and don't follow the rules to the T don't be offended when you hear "Cease fire!". Watch a 10 minute video on youtube on gun safety and no one will have a single issue with you, I promise. This place is as inclusive as it gets.

The staff inside at the front desk was super kind, they even charged my phone for me. They have free stickers on the wall at the entrance/exit! Once we got our waivers taken care of, we went downstairs to get our guns of choice and equipment. The team was very knowledgeable and gave us great reccomendations for first timers. Marthin checked us out at the counter and had great customer service skills. We chose the AR-15 and a 9mm. It's was $313 for 4 people including the 2 guns, ammo and eyes and ear rental equipment. Not a bad price to split for ~1.5 hours. When we got inside of the range, the staff took their time to show each one of us the correct way to load, unload, pick up/put down the gun, turn the safety on/off and how to position our hands with each gun. They stayed close by for any questions an to watch our form and they so nice and helpful. Literally everyone and that helped make the experience so good for us. I took home the zombie poster after we demolished it!
