It's pretty packed with a variety of antiques at different price points. There is a large garden area with outdoor decor as well. The place smells wonderful -- they make sure you're smelling a holiday potpourri and not dusty antiques :) There was definitely a cohesive style and tone to the items here which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that style isn't for me (I lean toward the quirky, bizarre, and whimsical). This was more quaint and rustic. But I definitely enjoyed walking through here nonetheless, particularly because of how pleasant the shop is. Oh and the staff is extremely friendly! I wouldn't bring small children here unless they're in a front carrier. I wore my 1-year-old on me and it was fine. I've previously brought my 3-year-old in a small stroller to other antique shops and it worked out. I wouldn't do that here. The aisles are tight and it's full of breakable, valuable stuff. So babies or older kids would do best. Keep the toddlers away.

A couple interesting pieces but nothing that really stood out. Almost bought a wooden wall hanging but then realized it was Hobby Lobby. There was ample space in the aisles to bring my toddler in a stroller (had my baby in a front carrier). There is a bathroom for customers. The shop is a collaboration of numerous antique collectors under one roof, and I have to admit the selection is quite impressive. I was very impressed with their collection of records, which were of the collectible type not like the usual junk you see in Goodwill. I found records here that you can't even find in record stores. Just when you thought you'd seen everything inside, there's a door that leads to the back which leads you into another large space that is non-air conditioned. Everything here is very well laid out and the prices aren't ridiculous. There are so many things to see here that I decided to let the pictures below tell the story. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Taylor. You'll also be happy to know they do have a public bathroom.

It's located in a residential home which makes for a very pleasant browsing experience. They have a pretty great selection of items. The prices vary (there are some more high-ticket antique objects here). Tuesdays are 10% off so if you're eyeing an expensive item, that's your day. I also noticed that they drop prices so if you're willing to take a risk and wait, keep checking. Restocked regularly. I came two weeks apart and saw a whole bunch of new interesting merchandise. For my fellow parents with small children: The other shop is large and has shopping carts where you can place your kids. This one does not as it's smaller and in a house. However, we were able to navigate just fine with my toddler inside a small umbrella stroller. I wore my baby in a carrier. The staff is very nice.

What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!

Unearthed is a wonderful nugget in downtown Round Rock. The shop has a wide selection of crystals, rocks, fossils, and unique gifts. The pieces are thoughtfully displayed so it's fun to browse. It feels like a walking museum. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their crystals and stones. Many cultures, from ancient Egypt to India and China, have attributed energetic or spiritual qualities to rocks and crystals, believing they can affect health and well-being. Egyptians used stones for protection and guidance, India links gemstones to chakras for balance, and jade in China symbolizes purity and harmony. Prices range from a few dollars to over $1K.
