The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice and explained there would be an $80 charge whether work was done or not. The price for the work seemed to high, so I declined to have them do the work. I called another licensed Master plumber, he came out for no charge and quoted me the exact same work for $275. So, in the end I think Southwest offers great customer service, but their prices are extremely high. I can't say if they do good work, because I didn't use them.

Even charged for digging when I did the digging to access the other access holes even though the whole tank is connected. Their truck left marks all over my driveway and a huge oil stain from their truck engine. Quoted price: $350. Actually charged: $540. Price quoted was for 1500 gallon tank. They knew it was a 1500 gallon tank. Their excuse for overcharging? "Well, sometimes a 1500 gallon tank (made of steel, by the way) actually holds 1700 gallons."

After…read moreinstallation, the units were not working right, so he came back about 3 times to try and fix them and failed, and then fell out of touch, no longer answering my calls. When he says he won't leave until his customer is satisfied- it's a lie- he disappeared on us. Since then I've spent hundreds more dollars trying to get these things working. From what I've learned since then is that spit systems are relatively new to the industry and Jimmy probably just didn't have the experience to install them properly-- and yes, he could have said so himself. It's a two-man job and he went for it solo... the installed units looked bad and messy and failed to work, and I've been struggling with them for 18 months now because of his poor work and lack of guaranty.
