This has got to be one of the worst companies on the planet, would rate negative stars if only that were an option. The reviews they have on their website are clearly cherry-picked/paid for reviews by their employees. There is no way that anyone that had ever actually done business with this company could rate higher than 1 star. Also, don't use their website for their operating hours because apparently they're not open on Saturdays like their website suggests. Now the actual review: first contact should've been a red flag when the sales rep used the tactic of saying "this deal is only good for as long as you're on the phone, once you hang up, the deal is no longer available." Should've realized right then and there that it was a bad idea to get involved with these people, but I did. The sales rep also gave a "callback" number that ended up not being in service. I was informed that my items would be picked up by an 18-wheeler in New Mexico and delivered to Florida (1400 miles) promptly. I set pick up dates with a different representative that said my items would be delivered in 3-5 days (the time it takes to drive 1400 miles). A representative called me the day before pickup to give me a window, 4-7PM, which I thought was a little late but being in the military and having moved 6 other times, I figured this was because the 18-wheeler had another pickup before me. The crew calls me at 5:30PM on pickup day and says they're running late and proceed to tell me that it would 11PM (how they thought this could be acceptable is insane) before they get there. I requested they come the next day, they had to call their supervisor for permission, and proceed to tell me that they'll be there at 7AM. At 7:30AM crew calls me to tell me that they'll be there at 10AM. They finally show up at 10AM with 2 U-Haul trucks and another moving truck. They pack up my stuff and load it and then charge me an extra $2000 for storage &handling and bulky items. I was told by the sales rep that storage was included and I didn't have any bulky items, these were fraudulent charges. The driver tells me that my stuff will be delivered in 2-12 business days. I called both Reliant Moving Solutions and West Coast Moving (the ones doing the actual moving, also a terrible company) on the next business day (Monday) to inquire about the fraudulent charges. The problem with calling Reliant Moving Solutions is that they never answer their phones, out of the 100+ times I've called them I have talked to them a total of 6 times (not reliable at all). While contacting the Moving company they inform me that they will have a supervisor contact me. In talking to Reliant, they tell me that once they get the paperwork from the movers that they would review it and contact me. Friday comes around and I had yet to receive a call so I called Reliant, they told me that my stuff would get delivered in 2-14 business days (no consistency in the lies they've been spewing) and that they would request the paperwork again. Then I called the moving company and was told that my stuff was in California (800 miles in the opposite direction of where it needed to go) and they had up to 21 business days to deliver it. Needless to say, I was furious. Now, I've been in the Air Force for 17 years and moved 6 times in those 17 years, I've never had a moving company that didn't show up with an 18-wheeler, pack up my stuff and drive it directly to the delivery address. Driving 800 miles in the opposite direction is just logistically stupid, for a lack of better phrasing. I spent the rest of Friday afternoon trying to contact Reliant since they're the ones that hired this West Coast moving company and they actively avoided my calls (30 attempts), and because their website says they're open on Saturday, I spent the day trying to call (50 attempts). On Monday I made 9 calls before someone answered the phone and the woman that I spoke with had the audacity to tell me that she had other customer calls to answer rather than listen to my situation, was actually talking with other customers while I was explaining the situation, and would routinely interrupt me while I was talking. I've never been treated with such disrespect, people in the military actually care about people where as people outside the military only seem to care about money and their company's bottom line. I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was the manager and that she wasn't going to do anything for me. So basically once you sign a contract with this company they don't care about you or what happens to your stuff so as long as they get their money. read more

I am so disappointed and upset about my move with reliant. My roomate and I double, triple checked with them that everything would fit. They told us 30 boxes a couch, 2 beds, tv and rugs would fit no problem with room left over. After 10 boxes, one bed and the TV, they are now doubling our quote. This is thousands more than I anticipated and they only told me after it was loaded so what was I supposed to do??? Not to mention they came a full day late and then charged a $600 fee since they could not park close as the moving spot was reserved for the previous day. I urge everyone to not use the company as a broker, you will not get them on the phone, if you do, they will put you on hold and then just eventually hang up I am reporting to the better business burea unless I hear back from customer service. It's like this was planned. Less than half of our stuff fits. Not to mention the movers are also asking for cash on top of everything. 'Reliant' is an extreme misnomer. Unethical/incompetent Moving Solutions is an apt description. *Primarily, We were not informed that inferior/sub-quality moving companies would be tasked with the physical labor/move. * In our case, DBA West Coast Relocation packed our property in Bozeman, but the property was delivered to Colorado by American Hills Moving and Storage. Both companies are out of California. Additionally, both companies have extremely negative reviews. If I had known the reputation of the companies prior to the move, I would have never allowed my wife to contract Reliant (she has medical issues that prevent her from performing labor). *Steven Ruiz, Reliant rep, told us that the movers had a 2dy window to respond for the packing. West Coast appeared on day three. Of course, there is no recourse for the violation of the contract. *After packing the items in Bozeman, my wife was informed that there would be an additional $3900 charge upon delivery. *I called Ruiz three times to address the additional charge. He never answered the phone nor returned my calls. *I should have realized the incompetence of the personnel representing Reliant: prior to the move, Ruiz called to inquire of the property to be moved. We walked thru the entire house describing all the items. I attempted to give the length/width of the items, but Ruiz seemed only interested in the general description: for example, desk or cabinet ( I think he has a rudimentary mental capacity, math and geometry are not included). * The delivery target was only 11hrs from Bozeman. However, delivery took 8dys. * The property was delivered at 730pm: took 2hrs to unload. *I haven't been able to inspect the condition of our property because it was unloaded into a storage unit. But, I'm not optimistic of my findings. Additionally, both companies used undocumented aliens for labor. Worst moving company I ever went with, they busted in my bottom dresser drawer. They lost the hinge to my bed, so right now it's on the floor, then the mover guy told me oh I'm gonna leave the hinge under your mat. He never did. Then on top of that, they took a chunk out of the new rental home wall. I do not recommend them whatsoever and they're even giving us a hard time about giving $200 back when they owe us a lot more in damages. May have to reach out to an attorney. Scammers: making double bookings for the same time slots, and extremely rude owners (Sonia & Eric) who extort money from customers. Scheduled 1 pm to 3pm slot for our move (couple of weeks prior to the move), their movers arrived post 9pm, got done well within 2 hours, charged me 50% more of the original quote for the sake of overtime! (you were late because you double booked my slot, I should have got compensated instead) I got deceived by their rating but if you filter their rating by lowest ratings, you will find similar if not worst experiences shared by other customers (realizing now). It seems they used to do a lot of coportate moves with heafty prices which are almost dried up now and hence overcharging customers like us. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY! The reason for the 2 starts is for the MOVERS only, the ones who actually come and do the job. Other than that, ZERO stars! My husband booked this company for a move and we received a window of 9-11am. We were called that morning and told movers would arrive at 10 or 10:30am. Around 10:45am, we hadn't heard anything so my husband called to get an update. No answer from the driver, so he called the office and reached Sonia. The driver then told him he was 10 mins away. Sonia then calls back and says there was a mechanical issue and wasn't sure when any movers would arrive (read the reviews on Yelp, they'll tell you that they use mechanical issues as an excuse often and Sonia claimed this "almost never" happens) .. I told her if she didn't provide us with an ACCURATE update, we'd need a refund and we would look into another moving company. She proceeds to tell me that she can't issue a refund because she is still able to send someone and because she's in a "contract" with my husband. I don't care if you're still able to send someone, they're LATE and we had other things we needed to do. If you're unable to provide the service when you said you would, a refund needs to be issued period! I wasn't concerned about the stupid "contract" because I would have simply disputed the deposit charge with my bank. Anyway, I had to ask her what incentive she would provide for causing such an inconvenience to my move in day. She almost offered nothing but then she decided to take something off. She also refused to speak to me because my husband was on this "contract" but had no issue sending this "contract" MY email because for some reason, it wouldn't go through to his. On a positive note, the movers, Philip and Vance were AWESOME! They were very nice and moved our things quickly. They deserve the kudos, NOT the "company" they work for. The only thing I didn't like about the movers was that when they leave your origin spot, they do NOT stop the timer. They go to some rest stop/ gas station (who knows how far that is from your origin spot), and THEN they stop the timer so you're paying for them to go rest and get lunch. You literally have no way of tracking so you have to trust that they're leaving your house, going straight to this rest stop and stopping the timer when they get there. None of this is explained when Sonia is generating this quote by the way. She has no problem quoting you $300 and your final bill will be DOUBLE. We ended up paying double and that included her "discount" for inconveniencing us. All in all, AVOID this company. Filter the Google reviews to lowest and look on Yelp. read more

We were given a total cost quote from Lydia their office staff and booked them we paid amount quoted ,once our furniture was delivered they added additional cost by $400! I can't say enough great things about this company. They worked very closely with us on coordinating our schedule to unload our household goods into storage. Due to road construction we experienced during our move, we had to keep moving the arrival date and time. They were very understanding and were able to adjust their schedule as well to accommodate us. The team who unloaded our truck and placed everything in storage were very friendly and worked very efficiently. We will definitely hire them again, and would highly recommend them! read more

I should have READ THE REVIEWS. I hired three movers expecting efficiency. What we received was attitude and defensiveness. The moving process was extremely slow, resulting in increased costs. When this was brought to their attention, they said we could move it ourselves if they wanted the process to go faster. It's funny how all workers are wearing company shirts in the "thumbs up" photos touting 5-star reviews, but that was not the case in my move. Showboating for the internet doesn't keep clients. Showing up for clients when they pay you to do a service does. ARGUING WORKERS: The workers argued with each other over how many dollies they brought to the job site. I believe they only brought two dollies even though I paid to have three movers. It appeared they were unprepared. I've used several moving companies in the past. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company. There was no company branding on the truck, yet they wanted to charge rates as if they had their business together. In my opinion, they don't. Shrinkwrapping cannot be the go-to reason as to why a job that should have taken a couple of hours ended up taking the whole day. This terrible company had a driver hit the front gate of a building we manage in San Antonio. After hitting the gate the driver got of his truck and noticed the gate was damaged. Instead of letting the apartment complex manager know about the damage the driver left without notifying the manager. We have the entire incident on video camera. When Celina the manager was called about paying to fix the gate she told us they would not pay to fix the gate. Will never hire them again. It took them 7 hours to load and unload a 3 bedroom home that was mostly boxes. They are rude, they threatened my husband. One of them was either on drugs or takes them. Disappointing as they were 4 hours late and I had to call them to see when they were coming. They tried to change the arrive time to much later in the afternoon. Good thing I pushed to not have this happen as it took them 7 hours to move us. We still had to find other accommodations to sleep that night. They also missed two of our closets. I hired these movers on November 13th, 2023. Here is my very honest opinion about the whole experience. 1/5 stars. Billing issues are the very bottom. My Booking information: November 13th Arrival time 8am-10am Two movers + truck 2nd floor to 1st floor - same apartment complex but different unit. EMAIL-- I booked over the phone two weeks prior and it all worked out well but the confirmation email and email receipt were very similar. You had to confirm the moving date or will be charged a fee, but with the lack of navigation on this, it was very confusing. OWNER-- The owner is Eric. My over all experience with him is poor. Seems to not have any clue on what bookings are made, where his movers are, and does not set expectations for his team. Just like any hiring services, they will call a day before at a very reasonable time, but Eric called Sunday at 8pm to get confirmation. This is late. And not a 24 hour span time. During the move out/in day, his movers DID NOT show up during the two hour arrival period. WITH NO COMMUNICATION. Right at 10am, i called Eric and asked what the ETA is and he didn't know who i was, or what the appointment was made for. So he had to call his movers and texted messaged me "Driver is Jason, he will be calling you" MOVERS-- Jason was the driver and confirmed at 10:04am that they will be arriving in 30 minutes according to the GPS. They did not show up until 11am. They were quick but focused on speed rather than caring for my items. When they stacked my boxes in the dolly and headed down stairs, they were RUSHING. All my boxes were hitting each other, everything was banging. And I had several dishes/ items cracked or broken. He was also unprofessional and not clean. He asked to use the restroom and of course I said yes. But then I go to collect the rest of my stuff and there was urine all over the seat and floor. He made some unnecessary comments about the move. One being, "man you're making us work today." And the last one with was VERY Unprofessional. This was said right after he dropped off the last load in the new apartment. "It's not until you move where you realize how much shit you have." BILLING-- This was the fun part. I paid the deposit of $75. Right at the end of the service Jason stated, "it will be 3.5 hours of pay, 3 hours here and .5 for the drive back." I'm sorry? But i have to pay for the drive back when you all were 1 hour late? Yeah NO Jason had to call Eric for the confirmation of pay. Which was odd. Eric had to ask what was on the bill, if my deposit was paid, the hours, and what move this was again. Again him not knowing anything. So after 10-15 minutes on the phone, the charge was $220. Cool, I paid with CashApp and they left. THEN around 4pm, i received a phone call from Jason, "hey I'm so sorry but this never happens, we mistakenly charged you for the wrong invoice, Eric calculated 2 hours of work but. Sir we work 3,5 hours. So we weren't paid for 1.5. Again I'm sorry this doesn't happen. And we can't close the invoice until we get that adjustment + taxes so we need the remaining balance of $196." I asked to speak with Eric and Jason stated that he was going to tell Eric to reach out and get it situated. It has been TWO days since then with no communication from Eric. Please don't use them for future moves. Sonia is a liar and very rude. And when I made a post on her video on Facebook she deleted it and blocked me. Now she will not answer the phone or call back. The movers are great but she made it bad for us and I will never use them or tell anyone to until she is no longer worker there. They have not fix the issue and saying that the Manger will call me and he doesn't have a number and she is the only one answering the phones. This company is full of it and Sonia is a damn lair and rude and I will never do business with them again and suggest that you don't either. Oh yeah Reliant Movers charged me for 3 Movers and one showed up late and they didn't give us a discount and they are trying to lie about how late he was. Well he kept going on and on about it saying nothing. Then he says Sonia fixed the issue and did not. And said they can delete comment because they are not reviews and block people buy it wasn't her. Whatever and he tried to say she fixed the issue but I never heard her say an amount. She said to call back Monday because she needed to talk to the driver. When I called Monday she said I had to talk to him. Bottom line they didn't resolve issues and charged me for three Movers and only two showed up on time which made them go over the two hours and then charges us for mileage and hasn't shown me where it says that and now has a video out saying they don't. Reliant movers were not very reliable. Very poor customer service by one of the workers who a purposely left a lot of heavy furniture (glass coffee tables) and chairs on my daughters and huge heavy boxes that I told him was earmarked for the truck. The temperature that day was 105 and 107 so we had to walk this stuff in the heat to the next apartment and/or garage. He took off a bedroom door to the old apartment bedroom to get out a double bed, and then complained that it would may extend the time for him to put it back on. After I paid them, I got the tall slender hard worker to put it back on for me so I didn't get charged at the move out. The one worker, who it was his first day, stayed in the bathroom for 20 minutes blasting his music and acting like he was home instead of working. Then I went to the other bathroom and someone had accidentally locked it which I think it was him too. Because no one else said they used it. He insulted me ( jokingly) but telling me to shut my mouth when it comes to how my bedroom is arranged and it was not not funny to me. The slender dude took up for me and said "dude, she is paying our salary." Additionally, he was less than professional even from the start. He came in 10 minutes later than the other guy, and then asking for a tip as soon as he got into the house before they started working. I told them I will see. But I did tip them because the other guy worked so hard! It was a one man show for the most part. Their lack of coordination and communication from the slack mainly caused the basic move of packed boxed and furniture to extend an extra hour. I should have known something when the contract said 3 men but when I asked about it she said it Will only be 2 but they haven't changed their contract yet, It's a simple edit. But I ignored that flag. To top off this horrible move, I was quoted $385 for 2 hours before taxes with the $85 down payment covering the gas and truck from Kyle. They quoted me $150 per hour. But since the one guy was a slacker it made it take 3 hours no packing, and just the heavy furniture and large boxes some of which he left too many of them in the living room for my daughters. My bill came out to $700. To my shock and dismay. So if u don't want to pay for their time before and after they complete the job and for the 20 minutes back home . Which I wouldn't have known except I asked what is the extra 20 minutes and it was explained to me. Then I said what about the $85 that was supposed to be for mileage truck and gas from Kyle which is next door practically. Don't use these guys. I was so disappointed. I am still moving stuff out of my garage because they left so much out of the truck that they were supposed to move! Unfortunately, I had to empty the old apartment by deadline so we had to put most of in a new garage i had rented by the old apartment. I moved to another apartment at the same apartment complex so there was very little mileage. Just barely down the street. They broke my patio umbrella and lost a piece of my dining room table. Quoted one price, charged another and failed to respond when I called/texted for answers. THIS IS A SHADY COMPANY, save yourself the hassle. If you value your things and want a reputable company to help You move, use any other company. I scheduled a move with Reliant Movers earlier this month which was nothing less than a nightmare: - Scheduled with Eric (the owner) for a 1:30pm pick up and emphasized that the freight elevator was reserved from 12pm-3pm ( he said it was plenty of time). Movers ended up arriving at almost 6pm when they were supposed to arrive at 1:30pm. - I received a call the night before at 8pm from Sonia imposing that I reschedule because THEY double booked for the same time slot, no apology and didn't even ask if I could reschedule, she just tried to make me change it to which I said no. - After an almost 4 hour delay, Sonia calls me to tell me they had a 3 men crew from the previous move and that I could have the third man at an ADDITIONAL FEE to accelerate the process since it was too late when it was their fault!! - They ended up including the third man without a fee BUT when it was time to pay they had tripled my original quote!!!!!!! - Our move was in Austin and they were charging us for travel time back to San Antonio (1.5 HR) when it was NOT in the original quote. Our final bill based on this went from $300 to over $900, after disputing it and refusing to pay almost $1,000 they ended up charging for 4 hours which was still 30 minutes more than what the move took. Ohh and they charge a hefty fee for credit card payments which we had to pay because the cash we took out from the bank was to cover the original invoice not the $700 invoice in the end! read more

Don't go with this company. Ghetto and ignorant workers who are unprofessional. Manager was just as rude and unprofessional and disrespectful. I was told by one of the men that I was yelling at him and then he would not move the truck. I was told by another man that I was ignorant as he continue to smoke a cigarette and talk down to me. They were all very rude and unprofessional. I then asked for the name of the moving company and which one of the men replied for what. I saw Their tee shirts and I called the number of the company and asked to speak with a manager. The woman who answered the phone said she was the manager and when I told her what happened she defended them and started yelling at me. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they are not on it. Just because they are cheaper does not mean they hire quality employees. We booked Reliant Movers and were quoted $350. They had some maintenance issues with one of their trucks about an hour before their scheduled time to help us. He was defensive and argued with us over the phone about the bill for 30 minutes and added that time to the bill. Eric also lied about having a 5 star review. A scam, they will quote you one thing run the clock and charge you a ridiculous amount. I would have saved money if I moved myself. The lady who takes calls seem understanding and plays the part of getting things done but will take every penny you have in the end.. There was some misunderstanding with the amount of hours charged, but I was able to clarify with the owner of the company and he followed through with his word to make it right with me. Don't EVER book a move with this company. I booked my move a whole month in advance thinking I could avoid any issues prior to them coming. Day of comes and I am all packed and ready to go. I receive absolutely NO communication whatsoever about anyone being on their way despite it being 10 till them scheduled to arrive. I make several calls and eventually get ahold of Sonia. Sonia informs me that the movers that are scheduled to move me out got a "flat tire" and are running late. Mind you, my move was scheduled from 1pm-3pm. She informs me that the timeframe of 1pm-3pm is the "grace period" of when the movers are supposed to arrive, NOT the timeframe of when they're supposed to arrive & finish. Apparently this is listed in my contract (it's not). She tells me that she is going to work on getting another set of movers to me ASAP and that they should be there before 3pm. A whole HOUR goes by & I never get a call back. I call Sonia AGAIN & she informs me that they have gotten new movers and they are headed my way. An hour goes by and I receive a call from "Robert" saying they are finishing up with their current move & will be arriving in "45 minutes tops." I get a text a half hour later saying they are barley leaving and there is "lots of traffic." ANOTHER 30 minutes goes by and I FINALLY get a call from "Robert" saying that they stopped to eat at Bill Millers and their truck is not starting & needs to be jumped. I inform him that he is the SECOND mover to bail on me & that I want my deposit back. He just continues to apologize saying that they are provided with "shitty trucks & they're currently in one of the the oldest trucks available." He tells me to take it up with corporate & dispute it with them because there is nothing they can do & he's just "really sorry." I called Sonia once again but this time I speak to Star. I tell her how I would like to cancel my move all together & she just starts panicking saying WAIT WAIT WAIT, let me get my manager & that "she will call me right back." Needless to say I never received a call back and am now having to dispute this charge with my bank. DO NOT EVER MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

I'll just be to the point. The good: Courteous movers and owner. No damages. I made a last minute scheduling change and they did not have a problem with it. Always answers the phone. The Bad: It took 2 movers 6.5 hours to move a small 1-bedroom apartment. Elevators were reserved at both ends. Everything was neatly packed in boxes. 1 wood bed frame, 1 sofa, and maybe 10 pieces of smaller furniture. About 20 boxes or so. Their original estimate was $299. Final charge was $800. I was not around during the move so was not supervising. Also, I would have preferred to use my AMEX to get points but their system was unable to accept it. 10 minutes after I paid them with direct payment from bank card and got off the phone I ordered a meal online with my AMEX to check and paid with no problem. Zero stars! They moved my daughters furniture rom her apartment and damaged almost every piece. I'm not talking small nicks here and there but large scraps like they had drug the furniture down the sidewalk. They took five hours to do what they quoted as taking two hours and my daughter and her friend were helping. The manager came out to look at the damage to her furniture but has made no effort to repair it asHe said he would and isn't returning Her calls. read more
