Now being 65 with shot knees the thought of changing a tire in the P lot sent me into a slight panic. I quickly walked to the counter where the counter guy asked me how was my day going. I showed him the throttle plate and told him what i wanted done. he looked at it and took it around the corner out of sight. well I am standing there watching my tire go flat waiting on him to return getting more and more nervous. Finally he brings it back all done. I was amazed, and he hands it back to me. I asked him how much he says its on me! Then he points out a tire shop a short distance away. Talk about going he extra mile to make a customer happy. I got my tire fixed just before it hit the rim. I whole heartedly recommend Rods Carburetor for any carb repairs you need!! I know you're super-busy and my car was returned to me a little dusty, so I shouldn't have been so critical. A few weeks ago I gave an unfair review. it turns out I was mistaken on a couple things and I gave them a poor review saying that they didn't take good care of my Mazda-5. They actually had the best prices compared to 2 other shops and I got my car back quickly. My mistake was that I had my car looked at 2 other shops and at one of them, they broke the panel on the driver's side and the engine cover was left off so I assumed it was Transmission Factory---I was totally ticked-off at the wrong guys. i APOLOGIZE GUYS. You did good work. My wife and I are grateful. 4-Stars! I will definitely bring my car back for future work!

When I picked my truck up, I noticed a leak before I drove off. They put it on the lift and fixed the leak. Driving home that night hard shift on the same gears and the same code. Took it back. After a few days they said it's fixed. Two days later same issue. Took it back again and after a few days they returned the truck. This time it was fixed. I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. Whatever tech worked on my truck definitely had the " that's the next guys problem" attitude.

I bought a 66 Ford Bronco that had a 1994 Ford Lightning 351 fuel injected motor in it. My Bronco is a fantastic modified vehicle and the only problem it had was that it ran very rough at idle (stalling out often). Numerous mechanics told me the problem was related to an after market cam that was installed thus changing numerous things in relation to the computer. My first stop to try and fix it was to TPI in Tempe, later called Performance EFI, later closed. The shop was unable to fix the problem and didn't charge me a dime!!! They recommended AZ Dyno Chip. After reading the review for 1 star, I was very hesitant but decided to give them a shot as I was tired of stalling at intersections! About 9 months ago I took it to AZ Dyno Chip and have not been happier!!! Cold weather, hot weather, it doesn't matter!! I have had absolutely NO PROBLEMS with my Bronco's engine!!! Also, while it was there, they spotted a brake problem and exhaust problem. They fixed the exhaust prob for $20!!! Great customer service and fast turnaround on my rig. The only thing I will say about the negative review is that if you know nothing about mechanics and try to bully a knowledgeable mechanic, you might offend them and thus get what you deserve. My suggestion is that you treat people with respect and honesty and they will give it back to you at this shop!!!!

I don't write reviews very often, but this is one business that truly deserves to be recognized…read more When my transmission failed, I was devastated. Like so many people, I was overwhelmed, scared about the cost, and unsure who I could trust. I felt like I was getting the runaround and hearing that my best option was to trade in my vehicle and buy another one. It was an incredibly stressful time. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion, and that decision changed everything. From the moment I contacted this shop, I was treated with kindness, patience, and respect. After my vehicle was towed to their shop, they took the time to thoroughly inspect my vehicle, explain exactly what was going on, answer every question I had, and never once made me feel pressured. They focused on helping me understand my options so I could make the best decision for my situation. That kind of honesty is rare. In a world where it's easy to feel vulnerable during a major repair, finding people with integrity is priceless. They earned my trust through their transparency, professionalism, and genuine care--not through sales tactics. One of the biggest lessons I learned through this experience is this: always get a second opinion before making a major financial decision about your vehicle. Every transmission and every vehicle is different, especially high-mileage ones. Before agreeing to a service your transmission or deciding to replace your car, take the time to have it evaluated by a reputable transmission specialist at Ken's. If you're searching for an honest transmission shop in Phoenix, I wholeheartedly recommend coming here first. Businesses built on integrity deserve to be recommended, and this is one of them. Thank you for treating me like a person instead of just another customer. You turned one of the most stressful experiences I've had into one that restored my faith that honest businesses still exist. I will gladly recommend you to my family, friends, and anyone looking for a transmission shop they can truly trust.
