I spoke to other staff and they admitted what he said was not true. When I finally got it back, not only was the hinge not fixed, but it wouldn't turn on. The power button was completely broken and I had to have it repaired somewhere else, where I found out CCF had removed other internal components as well. They told me that I gave it to them broken. I filed a lawsuit hoping to recoup some of my losses from the damage they did to my laptop, but they couldn't even find someone to give the summons to and I ended up moving away so I couldn't pursue it.
