I had an exceptional experience with Caliph who helped me solve a difficult (for me) situation. I called Dynamic this morning to find out if they could fix my printer and spoke with Khalif. He told me that he doesn't specialize in fixing printers, so he couldn't help me directly. I asked if he knew of anyone who could help and here's where he blew me away with great customer service. He took my number and promised to reach out to his network to find me someone. About 15 minutes later, he called me back to let me know that he found someone and that they would be calling me shortly (MicroGeeks and they were great too). I have rarely met business owners who take that initiative to help someone who isn't even their customer. Kudos to Khalif! If I ever have computer issues, I most certainly will go to him first. Caliph is terrific! I had two laptops with issues. One was not repairable and he was very honest in letting me know that the hard drive needed to be replaced. The second computer was my work computer and I needed it right away because I was going on travel for the job the next week. Caliph made the repairs quickly and was reasonably priced. I was at my wits end in dealing with my maddening slow, perhaps virus-infected?, Apple desktop computer. Frustration actually prompted me to find a home computer repair specialist on Craigslist, but it was definitely the right call with no regrets in hindsight. Caliph, the entrepreneurial owner, patiently translated potential solutions to me on the phone, as he acutely translated my layman's terminology as I began to describe my tech issues. I know from experience that it is way too much of a hassle to undo the bird's nest of wires, and take my computer into the Apple Store. Caliph seemed to make my blood pressure go down upon arrival, as he set up a weekend appointment and assured me that he could fix the problem. He definitely did speed up my computer, and even eliminated lingering issues of lesser importance--just to show off more of his talents. He even went to the computer store to purchase parts that he did not carry with him in his computer backpack. It was like his version of Batman's utility belt. Anyway, 4-5 months later he sent a personalized email following up with me, and sure enough I had malware on my computer. Ive been using DTS for close to 5 years now, this review is long overdue. The only reason Im posting it, is that Kalif just recently had to come out and hook up my new computer.
