They called to confirm the appointment and then they told me it was going to be a minimum of $135+++ I kindly said no thank you I'm all set. They called me back 15 minutes later and said they would honor the price. The aesthetician wore latex gloves the entire time that were a size too big at her... so the only thing I could smell was latex in the sound of that rubbing up against my face. I'm pretty sure she just used soap and water. I asked for a deep cleansing facial, she "cleansed" my face for no more than 2 minutes, max. She was washing my face, rinsing out the washcloth a bowl of dirty water that she had removed the scrub from. She would leave the room for 5 mins at a time and in the salon, the owner (?) was walking around talking on speakerphone... the least relaxing environment I have ever been in. I paid to have a face mask put on, it would've been a heck of a lot cheaper if I did it at my house. Finally, I went to check out and there was a miscellaneous $10 charge. There was no mention of "additional charges" when I was on the phone yesterday discussing the price. I think my skin looked better when I walked in. Super unhappy, would absolutely not return.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and have done a fantastic job each time, with lots of attention to detail. The place is clean, plays soothing music and the prices are very reasonable. Parking can be challenging to find so it's best to arrive a bit early to allow for that. I will return and do recommend.

Received email and text confirmation from salon for the appointment. Arrived 5 minutes prior, called from parking lot, following covid procedure and no reply from spa. Called again and texted twice between 6 - 615, no reply from spa. Two and a half hours after the 'no show' from the spa and still no communication from them. My girlfriend is quite disappointed as am I as a result of this poor scheduling service. And this is the second time our appointment was missed by the spa. The prior attempt, the spa cancelled saying their power was out. The massage was good when the spa keeps its appointment but after these last two experiences I've lost all trust in Spa Sono of Westport and would never return. If you are looking for a good massage and expect good customer service I'd recommend avoiding Spa Sono - there are other business who value you, your time and your business more than what I got from Spa Sono.

She cancelled it 18' before the appt saying it was family emergency. I had already arrived in the parking lot by the time I saw the message. Understanding things happen in life so I was fine with it and asked her to let me know when we could reschedule (when she resumes business). I never heard from her since although she has been actively promoting her business on social media. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. And don't waste your time on this person who is unprofessional and disrespectful to her client.

My experience perfectly…read moremirrors Carly H.'s review; their membership billing and cancellation process is a complete nightmare and a trap. I wish I had an option to give them 0 stars. I originally went in for the heavily advertised $50 signature laser facial I kept seeing on social media. Once there, they pressured me into joining a membership for a three-session "Power Duo" package, and somehow that initial $50 visit instantly turned into $100. On day one, they took my "before" photos and flat-out guaranteed that my closed comedones and hyperpigmentation would be totally gone after these three sessions. When I completed my third session, I explicitly told the front desk worker that this was my final appointment and I was done. She nodded and said nothing. She completely hid the fact that there was a hidden "cancellation protocol." To make matters worse, at that final visit, nobody even budged to take my "after" photos to see if there was any actual difference in my skin. I brought it up to both the nurse and the front desk, and they simply did not care. They only care about taking your money, not your results. Because of front desk person's silence, they slapped my card with another massive charge the following month anyway. When I called to get my money back, they promised a manager would call me. I am still waiting on that call. It is a fraudulent and misleading way to treat paying customers. Also, if you are wondering why they have so many good reviews, it is because they coerce you into writing them. On my first visit, they told me I had to leave a positive review right there at the front desk in order to get the free hyaluronic acid sample needed for my post-treatment aftercare. They force you to praise them before you even know if the treatment works. My skin did not clear up as promised, and they stole my money through deceptive billing. Management, if you are reading this, I want an immediate refund for the unauthorized charge. To anyone else reading: stay far away unless you want to fight your credit card company to get out of a contract you were never told about.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel strongly that people should be warned before coming here…read more I booked an appointment for a regular gel manicure and still waited 45 minutes before being taken, despite arriving on time. Once I was finally seated, the experience only got worse. The nail technician completely damaged my natural nails. She aggressively used the electric file and dug into my nails, creating deep ridges in the nail beds. She also filed the sides down so narrowly that each nail ended up jagged, uneven, and poorly shaped. It honestly felt like she lacked basic experience. I immediately went to my regular nail salon to have the gel removed, and even then, gel is still embedded in the grooves that were carved into my nails from the over-filing. I've been told it will take around three months for the damage to fully grow out. When I expressed how upset I was about the condition of my nails, management refused a refund, saying they couldn't refund the manicure because the technician "took her time." Taking time does not excuse destroying someone's nails. I had to ensure management that I also tipped this nail tech before having them agree to refund me. This was my first and last visit. If you care about the health of your natural nails, avoid this place. The damage caused was traumatic and completely unacceptable.
