They called me back 15 minutes later and said they would honor the price. The aesthetician wore latex gloves the entire time that were a size too big at her... so the only thing I could smell was latex in the sound of that rubbing up against my face. I'm pretty sure she just used soap and water. I asked for a deep cleansing facial, she "cleansed" my face for no more than 2 minutes, max. She was washing my face, rinsing out the washcloth a bowl of dirty water that she had removed the scrub from. She would leave the room for 5 mins at a time and in the salon, the owner (?) was walking around talking on speakerphone... the least relaxing environment I have ever been in. I paid to have a face mask put on, it would've been a heck of a lot cheaper if I did it at my house. Finally, I went to check out and there was a miscellaneous $10 charge. There was no mention of "additional charges" when I was on the phone yesterday discussing the price. I think my skin looked better when I walked in. Super unhappy, would absolutely not return.

Upon walking in there was a lady behind the desk likely a manager which was great instead of the usual walk in and talk to someone while they're doing someone else's nails. She smiled and I picked a color. Hannah did my nails and she was very sweet- I got the wax dip which was great and they do wash your hands first which made me feel like they had high standards of cleanliness. Everything was great- they opened all sanitized tools INCLUDING the files in front of me and asked if I wanted cuticles cut or pushed which I appreciated since I never cut mine. I have naturally long nails no gel polish or acrylic is used so I've had some bad experiences with salon workers making my nails an inconsistent length and/or shape when filing them. Hannah did a beautiful job and kept them long and even length. Also, I decided while she was filing my nails that I wanted a different color than I originally chose. I liked a color I saw on the gel polish shelf so I told Hannah and another woman looked for me and came back with three very similar colors (since I didn't want gel) and I decided on this OPI earthy green color. They were so nice, not rude or annoyed at my change. I will definitely be going back here again! Great service and very fair price even with the wax dip it was just $12 for a manicure.

Once I was finally seated, the experience only got worse. The nail technician completely damaged my natural nails. She aggressively used the electric file and dug into my nails, creating deep ridges in the nail beds. She also filed the sides down so narrowly that each nail ended up jagged, uneven, and poorly shaped. It honestly felt like she lacked basic experience. I immediately went to my regular nail salon to have the gel removed, and even then, gel is still embedded in the grooves that were carved into my nails from the over-filing. I've been told it will take around three months for the damage to fully grow out. When I expressed how upset I was about the condition of my nails, management refused a refund, saying they couldn't refund the manicure because the technician "took her time." Taking time does not excuse destroying someone's nails. I had to ensure management that I also tipped this nail tech before having them agree to refund me. This was my first and last visit. If you care about the health of your natural nails, avoid this place. The damage caused was traumatic and completely unacceptable.
