Asian massage therapy is what I prefer- they do a hard massage, it's no fluff. They do real massage, deep. The prices are great. And the masseuse knew what he was doing however I felt like he took it too far. He did a full pelvic massage and stomach massage. Even massaged the front of my throat and part of my breast, maybe it was accidental I don't know but I don't see a reason for this. The throat thing was 'off'- that is atypical. This felt mildly violating to me, it felt quite sexual and irresponsible. He also had long nails that stuck so hard in between my toes and I swear I thought I was going to bleed. Look, this place is in the bottom floor of a mall, so ambience is certainly lacking. But, if you're results driven, it's a great bargain. There are no private rooms, just little stalls with small screens set up. You can definitely hear the mall noises, and yes, the masseurs are handling other business at the same time. It's a walk in kind of place - think strip mall nail salon, not serene spa. With all of that being said, those ladies know what's up. There is a language barrier, but i didn't have any trouble communicating the discomfort. The style of massage is more deep tissue, accupressure, fascia release than soft and soothing. I was definitely sore the following day, but am feeling looser and my back isn't so stiff from my travels. I would not recommend this place to people new to massage, who are modest, or who have trouble being firm with their comfort level. I would recommend this place to people who like really deep tissue work/fascia release, don't mind lack of frills, and are okay with the possibility of being seen slightly nude. Also, pay in cash. They accept credit cards, but with places like these always pay in cash and have exact change so theres no 'confusion' as to what sort of change you are owed. read more

The therapists here specialize in therapeutic Chinese Tuina bodywork which can also be considered deep tissue bodywork. The goal is to soften tight muscles and tendons that could develop over a long period of time and by obstructing blood circulation create all kinds of chronic ailments. I've been going to Tuina bodywork specialists for over 20 years for problems such as back pain, carpal tunnel, tinnitus, arthritic pain, etc. The work done by Katie and her husband Song Wen is the best I've ever had. It is very deep and well informed. They are communicative throughout the 60 minute session which is very reasonably priced at $60 (shorter sessions are available). Parking it's available in the very large garage in the mall. As a person with decades experience with Tuina bodywork, I can highly recommend these bodywork massage sessions. read more

Came in for a reflexology foot massage, and although the massage itself was great, I had to wait for 35 minutes (despite being told it would only be 10-15 minutes) and had to try to block out three very chatty women sitting directly next to me (I'm talking arms reach away), who talked the entire time I was getting my massage. Given the quality of the massage and the reasonable price, I plan to go back. However, next time I'll ask for a private room and will try to secure a time when it's not super busy. read more

It is packed into a small corner of the mall, but if you don't care about decor and location, then all that really matters is price and quality of the massage and this place comes in strong on both fronts. This is place is tops for cheap massages. The massage itself is professional and there are certificates on the wall showing that the employees have had some training. I've never had to wait and the worst thing about the place seems to be as I suspect my 30 mins or hour is coming to a close I have to stop myself from saying, "Just thirty more minutes..." The place seemed nice, but I got a bad masseur. She had no talent and kept on talking to her colleagues throughout the massage session. Guess it's the luck of the draw with who you get. This place is straight to the point! Woke up the other day not being able to turn my neck to either side. I was so desperate and called a bunch of fancy massage places but they couldn't take me for hours and I couldn't wait. I found this place through yelp and was a little confused on whether I wanted to try it out or not. I was desperate so I called to see if they could take me. I couldn't really understand so I jus showed up desperate. This woman took me right in at first she started as the whole back but I pointed to where I needed the lost help and let me just say she got to work on my back. She took out every single knot I had. For the next half hour she worked through everything she finished off with a hot towel and I left feeling like a million dollars. If you don't care about fancy atmosphere this place is the absolute best! A little hidden treasure right in the mall! I honestly wasn't expecting much from this place but experience left me salty. I walked in asking for a 20 minute massage which they arranged for 25 bucks. So far this is fine. I waa directed to the masssge area and was not asked a single question - do you have any pain, pressure pregerances, etc. The massage area was drapes with minimal privacy. The massage specifically was overall quite weird and subpar. Afterwards, I wanted to use a 15% coupon they had there. On the coupon it says 15% off ALL services. For some reason - not this one. While the service did not deserve a trip, I presented 20 bucks and asked for 18 back. I was given 10!!! This lady has to be out of her mind to expect 10 dollars on a 25 dollar service for which she did nothing exceptional. The only thing she was able to communicate over and over in English was 25 for 20 minutes... so annoying. When I did finally get my change - she threw it on the table vs handing it to me. Exceptionally rude service. Save your money.. go somewhere else! read more

Overpriced (or more likely, ripped off), Noisy, Smelly and Rude. Despite the chatter, techs were good, but the prices, the noise, reception and rudeness were enough of a turn-off that we'll never return. Details if Interested: At the end of a very busy, walking intensive day, my friend and I went to what we fully expected would be a relaxing foot massage in the type of place we have frequented often. We were not expecting a fancy, luxurious spa. We were arrived late in the day, but there was an hour before closing, and we asked for a 30 minute reflexology foot massage. Ordinarily we pay about $15 for this in comparable places, less than $30 for a full hour. If they didn't want to do the service, they could have turned us away. Instead they hastily pointed to the recliners, which were mashed against the wall so reclining wasn't possible, and put the buckets of water in front of us so we couldn't move the chairs. We figured ok, but once it starts... however, the foot soak, usually a pleasant, leisurely and relaxing prequel, amounted to barely a dip. There was no brief shoulder and back massage (which we've ALWAYS had prior to the soak in similar spas). The techs spoke, at full voice, for the first half of the service to each other and other employees in the spa even calling out, which took drastically away from the relaxation. Someone who was presumably the owner came over about 10 minutes in saying "you pay now" - NEVER have I been interrupted for payment midway through a service. We thought perhaps given the location it would be slightly more than $15, maybe even $20 or $25 (high!!), but they charged $35! for a 30 minutes foot massage. We mentioned the supposed 15% discount, they said that INCLUDED the discount. They charged the same to us as a half hour full body massage, that's unheard of. The "room" smelled very unpleasant. The place itself is in a mall with no full walls or doors blocking mall sounds, so it was very noisy and that added to the chatter of the techs and employees, completely took away the relaxing element. The owner was curt and unpleasant. I will say, despite the chatter the techs were very good, but overall, definitely NOT worth even a normal priced foot massage. We definitely will not return. read more
