I did not leave an $18 tip. I normally tip for good service, but the service I received that day was not deserving of one. My review accurately reflects my experience. I was left with uneven toenails, dead skin still on my feet, and a cut on my middle toe after the technician's hand slipped while trimming my cuticles. The cut continues to sting in water and burns when I apply moisturizer. I contacted the salon hoping for a correction and an apology, but I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. I was a loyal customer, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this visit has cost you a long-time client.

I did not receive the manicure I requested, and when the fill in was completed, my nails were extremely thick, rough, and scratchy. I prefer medium length, milky white, smooth nails that still allow me to type and handle everyday tasks. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. The skin on my thumb extends past the nail, and the fill in did not fully cover my left thumb or the middle nail on my right hand. Several nails are so thick that picking up small items or putting my earrings back in will be difficult. The young lady who did my pedicure also appeared to be very inexperienced. By the time she finished, I was honestly heartbroken over the entire experience. What made the situation worse was that they attempted to have the same gentleman fix my nails after I had already expressed my dissatisfaction. No thank you. They were clearly aware that I was upset, yet they laughed as I left, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I paid for the services without arguing or creating a scene because that is not who I am. However, paying for a service does not mean I should remain silent when the quality is unacceptable. I truly wanted to continue supporting this business because my first two experiences were wonderful, but after this visit, I will be finding another nail salon.

The woman who was doing my pedicure was looking all around the room, paying little attention to what she was doing. She did not say one word to me, not even to tell me when to take my feet in and out of the water, instead she used rude looks to the point that I found myself apologizing, which is ridiculous as I'm not a mind reader. She was extremely rough when shaping my nails, and when I kept flinching and asked her to be more gentle she barely said a word and continued in the same manner. On to the manicure: The lady who did my manicure did a great job. She took her time and made sure to fix a couple of spots without me having to say anything. She is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, once again there was no conversation even though I tried to be friendly, and instead the staff talked amongst themselves loudly throughout the store. In the middle of my manicure the manager and another client got into a full on screaming match. I did not catch what the disagreement was about, but it completely ruined any positives in this ridiculous situation. People come to nail salons to relax, not to witness a Maury-style screaming match Finally, 3 hours after my pedicure I had to put on a pair of heels and give a presentation. In my experience, three hours is generally plenty of time for nail polish to dry. Apparently not this time, as my pedicure was completely ruined after putting on my shoes! Complete waste of money. My advice to management is to work HARD on your customer service. There is another nail salon not even a half a mile away from this one, and I can guarantee next time my business will go there.
