This amazing little Cheese Factory located in Madoc, Ontario is just a short drive from Campbellford, Marmara and Warkworth but if you're a cheese lover like me, it's not too far from anywhere. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, their selection is amazing and the cheese curds??? Ohhh lets just say they didn't make it back home to Brampton. They store is reminiscent of a time gone by, it has a very rustic feel like an old country store, I loved it. They even have ice cream and fresh hot dogs to go and I don't mean those chincy little dogs, I mean these are bigger than the buns, yes I got me one of those as well. This is not a store you want to rush in and out of. Go on in, take your time and have look around, they have all sorts of treats and neat things. You must try their dip, if you don't see it up front by the cash ask for it, you won't regret it. So if you're in the Peterborough area or around Hastings County, make sure to make your way over to visit this amazing cheese factory.

They told me they could make them fresh for me. When they asked if I was driving or flying back home, I mentioned I was flying. They went out of their way to vacuum seal the cheese curds so they would travel better. They always have the best cheese, and their customer service is top notch. CSA drop-offs also abound here and it sort of turns into a cool little hub of activity in the summer. Not really much by way of seating area except during the summer time when the outside area turns into a patio area. Also probably some of the best coffee in Kingston. Bueno bean is the bomb.
