We can't say enough good things about Mobile Veterinary Clinic. We found a stray kitten in a car engine one Saturday afternoon. We called around to different vets trying to get an appointment, but most were closing for the day and couldn't see us. Mobile squeezed us in right before closing for the day. We had no idea how to care for the kitten but they took the time to teach us, to clean up or little guy and sent us on our way with food and medicine that he needed. We've been back several times since and always find the staff to be pleasant, caring and extremely helpful. I also have to say their prices are quite reasonable as well. I've been coming to this vet for about five years now and always make the recommendation to friends when asked about where to take their pets. Overall the entire vet staff (doctors) are amazing. They are extremely passionate about what they do and will be honest and work with you based on your situation to find the best solution for your furry friend. This is the main reason why I come back and drive about 30 minutes out of the way to take all my four pups here. This is a hard thing to find in the vet industry as most office feel like sterile operations. On the flip side I will say my only con is I have had my issues with the front desk such as booking appointments, being on hold for long periods, not being able to get in during an emergency over the years, but since I was here last it appears there's a new staff at the desk in place and this has since been corrected by the practice. As this issue has gotten way better. Definitely don't let it steer you away from coming here but just make sure to document your booked appointments. And I'll also mention that my issue of booking during an emergency was addressed by the doctor, who told me to ask for them directly if anything like that happens again. Regarding price they are extremely reasonable. Take your pup here you won't regret it! :) read more

The front desk staff are friendly and pleasant, the vet techs are kind and caring and Dr. Brianna Reid is the sweetest, smartest veterinarian I've ever come across. She's very thorough when doing an exam on your pet, she tells you everything she's doing, she does not push you to try and get all kinds of expensive testing done to your animals. The prices are extremely reasonable. I can't recommend this place enough. If I moved to another part of the state I would still travel back to this vet. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. However, I had never taken any of my pets to a groomer before because they never required more than just a bath and a nail trim. My newest dog though, needed a full-blown haircut! I have read many horror stories about bad grooming experiences and was afraid to send my dog anywhere as she is somewhat skiddish and nervous in general. I originally liked this place because the prices were more reasonable than other veterinary hospitals for pets. Though the female veterinarian (owner) seemed interested in running every test possible (on my dollar) and I had to try an reject it. I had moved away for a few years and returned recently. My dog had been feeling sick for a few days and was not eating and was sluggish. I was very upset and called here to speak with Dr. Brianna. I never received a call after several hours and decided to drive there to see if I can discuss it with someone who could help before things get any worse for my dog. Their front door is locked and you cannot talk to anyone or bring your pet in for emergency purposes. I called inside and asked if someone could come outside to talk to me. They sent one of their techs outside and I told her about my dog. She went inside and sent out the senior tech who came outside seeming angry. I then told her how my dog was acting and she said there was nothing they could do for me and that I'd have to schedule an appointment and pay for hundreds of dollars of tests. The tech also told me that the "CDC came in and measured their facility and said they couldn't have anyone inside because of COVID." I found out that was a lie after calling the CDC and asking about this when I finished talking to them. The restaurant next to the Mobile Vet Clinic is open to have people come inside to sit and eat, but the Mobile Vet clinic isn't open for my sick dog who is in pain. Dr. Brianna never called and never got back to me. I ended up going to another vet not too far away who had an open front door, who didn't force me to do several tests, pay for shots, and an examination. The new vet I went to helped me find that my dog was suffering from Lyme, taking my own advice to what it could be, and helped me get immediate help for my dog. My dog is now bouncy and happy again. Because of my poor experience, with such ignorant and pushy people at the Mobile vet clinic, I suggest you find a veterinarian who has more compassion for their patients. This place is like a doggy DMV! read more

Mobile Vet in Monroe, Connecticut, has been our veterinarian of choice for the last five years. The staff has always been welcoming and extremely caring for our cat. Thankfully, our visits have always been well visits and we were grateful for the proactive stance that Dr. Bri always took in caring for our pet. I started taking my dog here because this used to be our family pet's veterinarian, however I am going to have to switch vets because of multiple reasons. First, there are so many techs working there that no one can ever remember who my dog is and what he is there for. I always felt rushed and never priority. Second, my dog was diagnosed with giardia. NO ONE could tell me what it was or how he got it. All they gave me was medication to treat it. They never told me that he needs to have a bath on the last day of treatment and that I needed to be cleaning his bottom and his paws every time he went outside. The medication didn't work since I wasn't doing the other interventions. The whole process has been very frustrating. read more

The staff at Mobile Vet has the absolute worst attitude of any company that I have ever dealt with! My dog had an ear infection which was bleeding. I called to have the antibiotic refilled and they flat out refused. Telling me that that antibiotic will make my pet go deaf. He had previously been on the exact same meds. "Are you going to risk your pets health like that???" Of course not, but I already know that this med won't cause that side affect with him. They said that they need to see him first, what a money grab! They offered an appointment 8 days from the date of the phone call. Or told me to go to Shoreline Emergency Hospital, which is always a $1,400.00 to $3,00.00 per visit rip off. I asked to speak to the doctor and was told she will be back in 5 days and that they would give her the message then. I then asked to speak to the Doctor that was in and they said no! I would have to wait for Dr. Brianna Reid to return since she makes the decisions. I have been a customer there for 23 years, but things have drastically changed for the worse with the newer management! I highly suggest that you stay far away from this place!!! read more

I love the new "cat side". My Bella hates being inside her travel crate, so when I was told I could let her out in the patient room, I was more than pleased, and so was Bella. I just switched to Mobile Vet. My dog boarded over the summer and it was a positive experience. At the new client office visit, Dr. Brianna and her tech was amazing with my 8 year old dog who is very scared when he goes to the vet. She took the time at the beginning of the appt to sit on the floor, feed him treats, and make him feel comfortable. I've never been to a vet that did this and it was really appreciated! My dog was still scared, but he seemed to trust them. She took the time to talk with me about my concerns and was very thorough. It was such a breath of fresh air to be given the time we needed. I can't say how much I love this facility! I just got a precious new puppy about a month ago. After going to a vet in my town of Trumbull and receiving a horrible but an inaccurate diagnosis regarding her heart, I was terrified to bring her anywhere else for a second opinion. However, Mobile Vet welcomed both Lily and I with such warmth and care I just knew it was a sign. Come to find out Lily is perfectly healthy! They explained everything in such detail and were so knowledgeable. Dr. Reid went through every single vaccine and care tip necessary for a new puppy and answered all my questions and concerns with no hesitation. Also, the staff is just the friendliest! Love this vet-been going for years recently one of my dogs had a growth/cyst on her side. I made a appointment beginning of the week --by the time the end of the week came it was much worse..Dr. Reid took his time with her- even though they had three emergency's that day.My Pep-pep had to stay ,got some stiches,removed the cyst and came home latter that day. I feel that my pets receive the best possible care here!! I have been to the emergency place's-- for me they did not treat my pet like a true family member...Although there might be a time I should have to go to one,for MRI,Ultra-Sound,ect. or middle of the night problems..
