Dr. Dan is amazing! We went another vet for years. They truly let us down when we needed help finding out what was wrong with our boy. We visited an area emergency vet who wouldn't schedule an appt with a specialist for over a month out. I kept returning and was told, "He was stable" and they had no concern with his rapid weight loss over the past few months. A few people suggested I call Dr. Dan. Annikki took my call and listened empathetically. She scheduled Fisher for that afternoon. She told me to call her if we needed him to be seen asap. Dr Dan saw how lethargic Fisher was and got him right in to see a specialist at another ER Vet. Between the two doctors, we have a plan and our dog regained the 15 pounds he lost! It is evident that Dr. Dan truly cares about animals. He sits on the floor and assesses them at their level- that speaks volumes. Annikki is SO kind and helpful. Fisher loves Hannah and the rest of the staff, as well. Thank you, Easton Veterinary staff for being so good to Fisher and all his unique issues. We so appreciate you!

Dr. Daniel Whalen, D.V.M. -- Vet Care from the Heart I can't say enough about my experience with Dr. Daniel Whalen and his staff. First, when my daughter lived in New York City and visited us, she brought her cat, Gemini (Gemi), with her to our house in Easton. I called Dr. Whalen's office to inquire if he could perform Gemi's routine exam while they were here. I figured it would help alleviate my daughter's stress of navigating the busy streets of NYC with a hysterical kitty in tow to a routine vet's appointment. The office agreed with my reasoning and, thankfully, accommodated us and scheduled a somewhat last-minute appointment. Don't get me wrong, Gemi was still a nervous wreck, but Dr. Whalen and staff provided a stress-free visit for everyone else! In addition, the doctor was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We are now happy to call him "Gemi's go-to doctor" whenever he visits. Second, the sudden end-of-life turn of my friend's 18-year-old cat, Sam, was heartbreaking. Sam had been ailing for months, and, in the end, my friend didn't have enough time to drive him to his regular vet. When faced with my last-minute request, Dr. Whalen's office went above and beyond to make room for Sam. Dr. Whalen and his staff faced a difficult situation when it came to euthanizing poor Sam, but their professional and compassionate demeanor helped everyone through the process. They provided comfort and support and their care was nothing short of exceptional. What was really remarkable was they took the time to write and send my friend a condolence card! We are grateful for all they have done for us and highly recommend Dr. Whalen and his staff to anyone looking for a great doctor in the area!

The questionnaire made me confident and proved they wanted to learn about the dogs in advance. Once our puppy was old enough to join, I reached out to Lisa because I was concerned that Moxie was scared when meeting new dogs, especially puppies, and due to her being too young + covid, she had not met as many. I was probably more worried than necessary, but Lisa NEVER made me feel that way. She spent lots of time talking with me about a plan to make sure Moxie and I were comfortable. She had us come in the evening after most dogs had left, and she knew that the dogs that would be there were good dogs for Moxie to meet. It went very well and Lisa assured me that Moxie's behavior was normal for a puppy and nothing to cause concern. Lisa suggested a specific day for Moxie to start coming based on personality matches with the other dogs. Now Moxie goes at least once a week and sometimes three. Moxie gets very excited and I can barely stop her from jumping out of the car to get in. She has boundless energy and Dawg On It helps with that, but above all, we know Moxie is safe and happy, while we can get some work done at home! Thank you, Lisa, Al, and Kai for your amazing help and for always texting back so quickly!

Despite treatment, he continued to have seizures. When I called the clinic about this, they simply switched his medication without proper follow-up or care. Months later, in October, my dog suffered a horrific seizure and was rushed to the emergency vet. That is when I was told the truth: the dosage of medication Berkshire Veterinary Hospital had prescribed was far too low for my dog's size and condition. Because of this, his epilepsy was not properly controlled, leading to a massive seizure, severe brain damage, and ultimately the loss of my beloved dog. This loss was preventable. If my dog had been treated correctly and carefully from the beginning, he could still be alive today. I am left completely heartbroken, traumatized, and angry. I trusted this clinic with my dog's life, and that trust was misplaced. I will never return here, and I strongly warn others to be extremely cautious. In my experience, this clinic did not show the care, attention, or urgency that our pets deserve. My dog deserved better.
