We explained our rabbit was in GI stasis: not eating, not drinking, showing clear symptoms. He brushed it off and said her vitals were "fine." (Rabbits can be dying and still show stable vitals -- any rabbit-savvy vet would know that.) Instead of helping, he handed over some medication with no guidance, no urgency, and zero compassion. We were sent home without instructions for syringe feeding, hydration, or anything that could've saved her life. Our rabbit died because of this clinic's inexperience and lack of care. This was not a minor oversight -- it was fatal neglect. If you value your rabbit's life, do not stop here. Go somewhere that actually understands rabbit emergencies and takes action. I'll carry the weight of this mistake for a long time. I'm sharing this so maybe you won't have to.

She worked with me to get the 3 minute question and answers completed and set me up with an appointment for the next day. It was a rough night and Ari was spoiled rotten. Dr. Lindsey arrived on time with a phone call before coming in. Dr. Lindsay walked in with an air of peace and worked with us on our time. She explained the whole process and asked if we were ready for each step. She made Arigons crossing over so peaceful for all of us. She stayed with us to talk abit and made us a paw print and some tuffs of his fur for keepsakes. As sad as this situation was, Dr. Lindsey and her team made it comfortable and beautiful.

I would surmise that she was having a panic attack along with her false pregnancy which the vet also stated. Fine. They got the false pregnancy part right. My problem is this: The dog is itchy. Before they advise my mom to switch the dog food or try something less processed, or even change her shampoo and the soap used for her bedding etc, they inject her a bunch of times and prescribed her medication to eat with her food. --forever?! The dog is 4. They didn't investigate the cause of her itching at all. I feel like especially when you have elderly dog owners, there's some level of trust that you put in a veterinarian especially when dealing with dogs who are pre-disposed to certain things like allergies and weight gain. I took this dog to my home, to give her a little more attention and figure out why she was acting so sick, and within a week I stopped all her "anti allergy" medication, changed her food to a bland diet, found these giant tufts of fur missing, brought her to MY vet in New Haven, and found out she had a crazy infection from her scratching and biting at an old bug bite. I have antibiotics for 10 days, Antiseptic spray to clean up the area, a cone so she leaves the infected area alone, sample bland diets, flea and tick meds that I'll be giving her after this infection clears up, healthier treat samples, her nails are clipped and they squeezed out her abdomen which had gathered some liquid and was making her uncomfy. I have to bring her in to a follow up on 7 days so the vet can make sure That I am doing what I'm supposed to be doing to ensure she heals properly. In one visit. All of this in one visit. 250 bucks later. My mom has spent over 200 dollars each visit to this shitty ass vet office and I am APPALLED at their lack of attention to detail. If this was the result of a tick bite, or some other deadly insect my moms dog would have DIED and my mom would still be out over 600 Dollars for them to laugh and say, yea beagles get itchy. I don't think there is ANY excuse for a vet to miss this. Especially if I noticed within a week of observing her while working and doing a million other things. Chunks of fur gone, and NO ONE noticed ? Disgusting .

We called Dr. Krier to put our 13 year old Westie, named Pearl, to sleep. Pearl had been treated…read moreunsuccessful for 2.5 months by our regular vet at Banfield Hospital, where she had been a patient on their wellness plan for 3 years. Our regular vet treated her for "colitis" but admitted that she did not know what else to do and referred us to a 24h clinic for further diagnosis and IV treatment Pearl was discharged from the clinic the next day with prescriptions for six different drugs, while her symptoms kept worsening. After one week of force-food and medications down her throat we decided to put her to sleep in the comfort of our home, which Dr.Krier offered to do. However, before proceeding with the euthanasia, Dr. Krier asked us the permission to examine the dog and to review her medical record. She took it upon herself to talk to the Emergency clinic doctor and discovered that although the clinic tested Pearl negative for Lyme disease, they had not tested her for Anaplasmosis, which is another, very similar, tick borne decease that affects older dogs. Dr Keil took another blood sample and called us the next day that her hunch was correct and the test was positive. Dr. Krier immediately gave Pearl a prescription for antibiotics and immediately showed a good response to the medication. Two weeks later our dog is eating , barking, licking our face and acting normal and out son has renamed Dr, Krier as "Dr. Miracle". She not only quickly and correctly diagnosed the dog 's symptoms, when other vets did not, but also treated us with compassion and provided incredible service. She has followed Pearl's recovery at every strep around the clock by phone and email even on Sunday! I never met such a caring , knowledgeable vet and I am so thankful that she gave our dog another breath of life ! Sadly, the same week that she saved our dog, she had to put her own to sleep but never let her sadness impact caring for other patients. I would recommend Dr. Krier to anybody looking for a compassionate, incredibly perceptive and experienced veterinarian who intuitively understands both animals and owners and can ressurect a dog on his death bed !
