Oh, and there's follow-ups of course so the faucet never shuts. This is a 3 year-old healthy active indoor cat with no health issues reported by me, the owner. You want to give these people the benefit of the doubt, but after looking up exactly what they're testing for and what normal vet visits should be like, we're all in full-blown Stockholm Syndrome for going here.

I paid $150 just for them to look at my cat, only to now have to pay another clinic for a second consult because nothing was handled properly. I was originally told my cat needed a tumor removed and was given a price, but when I arrived for the appointment they suddenly told me she needed two additional procedures I had never been informed about. My cat's surgery appointment was rescheduled and pushed back twice, and when I finally dropped her off on the day, they told me the procedure might not even happen and could be pushed back a *third* time. I missed work for two days because of their lack of organization and communication, and meanwhile my cat continues to be uncomfortable while I have to find another place to take her, which is NOT easy. The only positive part of this entire experience was Melissa at the front desk she was the only person who showed empathy and actually seemed to care. Sadly, that wasn't enough to make up for everything else.

Dunk suffered a very sudden decline in health a little over a week ago and we were forced to take him to a different vet. We had no clear answer as to his ailment but were prescribed pain medication and were told his time was near. Hoping to get more clarity, I called Baybrook and they got Dunkin in right away. Our family was well aware that at his age, there was probably not much that could be done but we just hoped it was an infection that could be cleared and maybe give us a little more time with him. We went in for the blood work and Dr. Lipsitz and her staff treated our boy with care and compassion. They listened and they understood the situation and I was very grateful. Let me preface this by saying Dunk rarely saw a vet but was always VERY healthy. He had a very bad experience several years ago at a local boarding facility and ever since then, he was petrified going to the vet's office, so much so that he would urinate on the floor and would snarl. Now, anyone who knows our boy knows he was the most gentle, playful, affectionate pup around and I wish you all at Baybrook could have seen that side of him. After receiving the results of the blood work, we scheduled an immediate ultrasound to check the abdominal area for the presence of a tumor or some other mass. Dr. Lipsitz's concern was that our boy had a mass that may have or may be in the process of rupturing. Unfortunately, just prior to us bringing Dunk in for the ultrasound, his legs went limp and he couldn't walk, presumably due to the rupturing of the mass. We carried him out of the house and brought him right to Baybrook. They took him immediately, all staff members helped. He was their priority. Sadly, our boy didn't make it. The care and compassion shown by everyone far exceeded our expectations. Dunk was brought to a private room where he was put to sleep surrounded by his family. The process was thoroughly explained and went as smooth as can be. We were given as much time alone with him as we needed once he passed and all staff members offered their condolences when we left. I can't say enough about this place and highly recommend it to anyone. It's going to take some time but we will get another pup one day and I can guarantee he/she will be seen here. Please see that Dr. Lipsitz and the rest of her staff sees this review so they can understand how thankful we are for making our boy's last minutes on this earth as peaceful as possible. Thank You

The staff and facilities at Central are absolutely incredible…read more 4 months ago my boarder collie had pancreatitis that almost killed her due to negligence from another practice. Central was right on top of everything and saved her life. Fast forward, my best friend of 13 years (another dog) collapsed and was in really bad shape by the time we got to the emergency room. The staff was so quick, professional, and compassionate. I had to make the tough decision to put her down and they comforted me and made me know i was making the right choice. I just picked up my Mollys ashes today and they included a thoughtful card and coin and everything was done so nicely. The staff again was so compassionate. I really appreciate all they have done in such hard times for me and my family members over the last several months. I would never consider going anywhere else. The waiting area is also comfortable, clean, and has amenities such as a food station.
