I've been here a couple of times already for a helmet and an inner tube. The owner Tom is super…read morefriendly and helpful. It's more of a bike shop people like to stop in to say hi because of good experiences. He's been helpful getting the exact price point and quality. Don't be fooled by the size and selection. They have affordable options available and also some really super high end products. Some really amazing bikes and service. I definitely recommend stopping in and getting set up with a new ride. They have plenty of E-bikes to get up those Ithaca/Cornell hill.

I never post reviews but felt the need to share:…read more I took my bike in to have work done, I use it everyday to get to work. They shop seemed good and knowledgable in bikes. I give two stars for the timeframe and customer service: Bike was brought in Friday afternoon, I was told by the mechanic it would be started/looked at over the weekend, -then I was told monday, -then I was told later in the week (his reason was "it is a long job so we need to set time aside") I called them to check when it would be done and if the parts I brought were compatible however they had not started yet, so I called a second time to see. **The man proceeded to yell at me over the phone, he repeatedly told me: that he "works 100 hour work weeks," I need to stop asking him for a timeframe I should "take the bike back now" and that I waste "10 minutes every time I call him" He was not able to give me a timeframe and told me to wait to be called when he gets to it. I was excited to work with them and have a reliable local shop, unfortunately that will be found elsewhere.

$120 for rinky-dink Mountain really!? Even if the lodge was updated, even if there was more…read morevertical, it still wouldn't be worth $120. Not only that it says on the website $59 on Tuesdays, but not on a holiday. Presidents' Day is a one day holiday, so how's the whole week a holiday season. I don't care if schools are off they should not be reneging on their promises of $59 day pass passes. We came expecting to pay that price. I complained to at least three people. Nobody offered me any recourse. Not only that they've gone cashless which excludes people who don't have credit cards. Plus, you can only buy tickets online so there's no way around to even talk to. They have some guys wandering around a jackets that can help you process their overpriced tickets, but no booth no manager no nothing. It's icy, crappy and I'm not coming back ever. I'd rather ski somewhere else if I'm gonna pay this kind of money. If you're gonna ski a small central to Western New York mountain; keep heading west to the skiing over by Buffalo the snow but better anyway.

Last semester (or was it two semesters ago?), I visited Greek Peak for my first-ever skiing…read moreadventure, accompanied by my friend who has been skiing since childhood. As a complete beginner, I was a bit of a physical hazard on the slopes - picture me sliding down the hill in sheer terror (stopped in the middle and had a panic attack), sometimes sitting (laying is more accurate) in the snow, utterly immobilized by my unwieldy penguin-like flippers. Despite my less-than-graceful attempts, I miraculously managed to avoid any serious collisions. Though I'm obviously not ready to tackle the intimidating black diamond runs (seriously scary), I genuinely enjoyed my time at Greek Peak. From the get-go, Greek Peak made a positive impression. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning snow-covered landscapes and a well-maintained facility. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, offering help when I was stuck in between a crevice :,) Perhaps any mountain resort would do the same but it was fun and everything went smoothly!

There was wayyy too much stuff for the space and it ended up feeling very claustrophobic in here…read moreand unorganized. I was stepping over stuff on the floor and brushing against hanging clothes. A lot of the clothes were also in bags, and I'm not sure how people would know what they're looking at without fully unwrapping them which seemed impossible in the space. It ended up feeling really junky and I got out of here as soon as possible. It would work for them if they cleaned up a ton, displayed their clothes differently, and put away about half of the stuff out.

Owner pointed out it was a women's item (which at first as being helpful) and when we asked if there was a mens version and he said no and then a bizarre interaction ensued. Basically the owner got AGGRESIVE insisting that MEN don't buy WOMENS clothes (um, what) also it's a black zip up so...zip it. His ridicule of my 16 year old escalated and as we decided to leave and not give any $$$ to this man (who started out cranky but legit is mentally unwell and possibly dangerous), he started approaching us to the point that I put myself between him and my daughter. We felt threatened and unsafe and needless to say wouldn't return if our lives depended on it. How this biz is still open is an utter shock. Clearly Ithaca isn't the community I thought it was to allow this place to stick around.
