Played with basketballs, footballs and baseballs. I looked at some apparel. When I got back to mall entrance cashier, SAME CUSTOMER was at register, still talking to cashier. I waited 5 minutes, mean time, 5 EMPLOYEES STOOD AROUND HER OR WITHIN 20 feet of me while I waited. DONE! Long time shoppers will not return to here or Vestal...Go to Target, Walmart or other smaller excersise stores I have visited. Manager should be embarrassed and reprimanded...Customer service is what is going to keep your stores afloat and not go way of other large merchandisers...Good Bye!!

Today one of the employees named Chris went above and beyond running out to my car to get me. My…read moreboyfriend saw a button shirt he liked in our new store so I looked it up on the app for a possible Christmas present. The shirt retails for 65.00 and I never pay retail price. On the app some of the colors had gotten clearanced and the color he liked in the store was one of those marked down online to 19.47. The cashier looked at the app and scanned the item which was still coming up full price in the store. The cashier asked if I wanted him to ask a manager I said sure can't hurt. The employee said cause it was a clearance item it couldn't be price matched. I said ok well I'm not paying full price for the shirt I don't need it that bad so I headed to my car. That's when Chris came all the way to the parking lot to tell me they would absolutely match the price and there had been some confusion. He said they wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. Thank you to Chris and Kamir the cashier for all your help today.

This outdoors superstore has a great selection of outdoor gear and supplies with several departments under one roof including: camping, outdoors apparel, camo gear, hunting, dog training supplies, auto accessories, electronics, guns, archery, knives, binoculars, fishing & tackle, footwear, food, snacks, souvenirs, gifts, kayaks, and more. There are several clearance of items on sale throughout the store. Name brands such as North Face, Columbia, Under Armour, Carhartt, and more are sold here. Field & Stream is also fun place to visit too with stuffed game displays (elk, bull moose, bear, deer, buffalo & others) throughout the store including the large mountain of animals in the back of the store. There is a warm fireplace with comfortable chairs at the front entrance, though the cold draft from outside blows in too. This place is very similar to Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops, but on the smaller scale here. No aquarium or shooting gallery, and no snack bar here, but they sell food such as beef jerky, candy, fudge, dried camping food, jar goods, and spices. I shopped here for some shirts and pants and there were some decent styles in the clearance racks, but most of the good stuff was for really big guys XL-4XXL. In all, I like this big outdoors store and it gives me another option between Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops. I also shopped at the Field & Stream store in Altoona, PA, which has an identical layout and very similar decorations.

I had a fantastic experience working with Thane on a big tailoring order a few weeks ago…read more I had 7 or so suits that needed various levels of adjustments, mostly simple stuff like shortening sleeves, hemming pants, and taking in the width on a few blazers. However, I also had one blazer that I purchased at an online tailor company that came out very wonky in the shoulders. Thane was able to perform surgery on it and perfectly fix the issues. He got everything done on a tight timeframe too, and put in extra work to get it all exact. Beyond that, he was a pleasure to chat with and very professional. The whole project came to a little over $1000, which I think was reasonable given the quantity and quality of work done. I especially don't think anyone else could have fixed the shoulders on that one blazer, so it effectively saved me the value of losing out on an entire suit jacket.

I came in with a busted 10 speed shifter and left 20 minutes later with a new shifter nicely installed at a price much lower than I expected. But they have just about everything you'd want for athletic equipment, hunting gear, shoes, and active wear. This store has an especially nice and large section of Syracuse University clothing and memorabilia. The only major complaint is the checkouts. They are DESIGNED to produce long and ungainy lines. Even on a slow day, you're likely to wait 10 minutes to check out. This design does, however, make you feel like the only customer in the store when you ARE actually checking out.

We felt threatened and unsafe and needless to say wouldn't return if our lives depended on it. How this biz is still open is an utter shock. Clearly Ithaca isn't the community I thought it was to allow this place to stick around.
