10/5 Stars - They saved my life and my wallet!…read more I cannot recommend Garland Transmissions enough! My car completely stopped moving and I was facing a stressful, multi-thousand-dollar nightmare scenario while on a very tight budget.Instead of taking advantage of my situation or pushing for expensive, unnecessary replacements, the team at Garland actually took the time to do a real, honest diagnosis. They identified the exact root issue quickly, kept the repair incredibly affordable, and only charged me a fraction of what I thought I would have to pay. They are compassionate, transparent, and truly care about helping people in their community rather than making a quick buck. They completely saved my wallet and gave me my peace of mind back. If you want a shop you can trust with your eyes closed, go to Garland! Thank you guys so much! Shane is the man!!!

There are NO words to express my gratitude!…read more The sincerity and good ol fashion human compassion that Rachel and what feels like my new close friend Shane make you feel is humbling. Even though they must hear sad sob stories all day lol they show the most compassion and interest making me feel my small town vibe. I sent in on yelp a small summary of what turned out to be my transmission, Shane replied by 6:45am! Fast forward to business he humbly warned and explained all options, when all said and done got me fixed up enough to either drive all the way back home or leave pickup for a potential swap. I am one to be weary and narcissistic about these things and felt abnormally out of character to accept help and input from the man with experience. Tip: if you are in emergency send message for help they do first come first serve due to the high demand for service with them.

Recently the dealership told me that I needed a front brake job and only had about 3 days on my current pads. Their estimate seemed excessive to me so I passed on the repair for now. Took it to Brake Solutions and they found all the brakes were in good shape and the front pads still had about 15,000 miles on them. Austin would not charge me. On top of that their estimate, if I would have needed the work, was more than half the price that the dealership quoted me. I'm now getting quotes from them for the other work the dealership felt I needed. Go see them. Friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. Thanks Brake Solutions!

They strongly urged me not to wait and said I should come back as soon as possible. Concerned for my safety, I even took time off work to have my brakes checked. Wanting a second opinion, I went to Brake Solutions. Even after knowing what the other shop had told me, they performed an honest inspection and informed me that my brakes still have an estimated 30,000 miles of life remaining. They could have easily sold me a brake job I didn't need, but instead they chose honesty and integrity. Their professionalism, transparency, and ethical business practices have earned my complete trust. I was especially grateful because I simply wasn't in a position to spend $1,000 on unnecessary repairs. In today's world, finding a shop that puts customers before profits is rare. If you're looking for a place you can truly trust, I wholeheartedly recommend Brake Solutions. They've gained a customer for life, and I'll be telling my friends and family about the outstanding service I received. Thank you, Brake Solutions, for proving that honesty still exists in the auto repair industry.
