The guard seemingly investigated each complaint and also evidently understood what I suspected, and did nothing, especially not remove this gentleman from our collective. I saw the man in question with my own eyes, who could not (OR would not?) deign to keep his eyelids lifted for his drivers license photo, whilst his pants fell down to his ankles because they were unsupported by a belt that hadn't been fastened around his waist. He also attempted to flirtatiously offer his place in the photo line (a slurred, "ladies first") to a woman who clearly was not attempting to have a drivers license photo taken, which I thought was rather chivalrous of him. He exercised a titans grip upon a paper Trader Joe's grocery bag, which I can only assume was loaded with cans of Simpler Times. All DMV employees allowed this man to renew his drivers license, exit the building, and presumably operate an automobile. He is truly an unchallenged champion who walks (and drives) amongst us. I am impressed. I knocked off a star because it took 5ever to renew my drivers license. I cannot for the life of me fathom what could possibly be bogging down this process.

I was helped by Julie Julie (E2) who is the most kind hearted person. I went in to renew my real ID. She helped me get everything situated. Not only did she go above and beyond but she made my DMV experience better. Patience is a virtue that she has. I am very happy with the DMV. I did not have an appointment and it was still pretty smooth.

I then received a phone call to come back in, and was told I have to pay an additional $140. The staff here is actually pretty hilarious as they make up random answers, and after they say "that's why" as if they have reassured you of why you have to pay. After I received my random answer for my second payment. They handed me 1 license plate and told me to have a good day. Since then I have received $120 ticket for only having 1 plate (I moved from Philadelphia and was told by staff I am fine with 1), and received 2 letters from DMV stating that my car is no longer registered. Long story short I had to go back to DMV, wait in line, and pay again just to do what they didn't. Such a shame to rip off innocent people, but at least they are funny hahaha. Then she said it's going to take ~2 hours for those who don't have appointments. You made me wait for weeks and then you take people with no appointments. To add insult to injury, then this office started taking appointments of those people, who came after me. Completely unorganized and disrespectful of people's time. This office needs serious improvement in scheduling and efficiency.

Spoke with conar he basically stated to streamline everything smog the vehicle and then we can do everything else without issues since sometimes the smog is the hang up when cars cant pass , he advised regardless of smog outcome he can still hel he ran the rough numbers for fees and registration fees and yes it was fair compared to other places offering vin verification and registration services. Couldnt make it to smog the day we spoke due time constraints but smogged the vehicle next day and went to conar auto registration services and it was SMOOOTH great guy easy and best of all was done in leas than 30min got my plates and my tags title on the way and the rest of the day free with one less headache. Highly recommend this place for multiple services , simply call or email great communication.
