After a long conversation and several times being put on hold, they finally got back to us only to say that no company was willing to insure it. Seriously? We then contacted a different agent, got a quote in under 3 minutes, and had the property insured the very next day. Total waste of time with PHP. I was referred to Tony a few months ago when I was in contract for my client on another home. Unfortunately we didn't get to work together at the time because my client decided to back out. Fast forward few months later, my clients needed insurance asap on a house that we submitted an offer for. Because of what's been happening in the insurance industry, it's always been a best practice of mine to get an insurance quote for my clients before going into contract. After going through my usual insurance person, all his carrier denied coverage for my clients due to 2 past claims on his rentals. I was in panic mode because were very close to getting our offer accepted but I needed to make sure my clients can get coverage otherwise going into contract and back out later would be a waste of time for everyone. At 8 something PM I contacted Tony hoping he can help my clients find even one carrier to approve. Tony was super responsive and quickly helped me right away. Mind you this is almost 9pm and he was up helping me find a carrier that would write a policy for my client. Put of the 10 carriers that he searched, 1 of them gave a 90% approval but we wouldn't know 100% until the next morning. The next morning I texted Tony super early asking him for updates. The carrier wanted to ask additional questions about the previous claims filed by my clients. After about an hour he came back with a 100% approval when my go to guy didn't have anyone that would write. I also contacted another insurance agent that was referred to me by my preferred lender partner and he didn't even try to run a quote and outright denied helping because to him, my clients filed to many claims in the past so he knows "for sure" that no one would insure him. Well, TONY PROVED YOU WRONG! When you work hard for your clients, anything is possible. Truly truly appreciate Tony for his diligence and hard work in getting my clients insured even with just one carrier. My mother went here to ask about her Medicare because although she is almost 65, she doesn't have enough work credits for the plan. I don't know who the worker that was trying to convince her to apply for the plan that would cost her $700 per month due to not having enough work credits, and said that she'll get penalized for not doing so. We had to go again to ask someone else, who did gave us a more reasonable answer, even though their attitude was no better. I understand that is tax season and everyone is tired, but please don't put your attitude onto us. We're only trying to find answers :/. If there's more options on Vietnamese-speaking place, then this would not be our first option. read more

Here's the situation: my dad has been a loyal customer for them for a long time - bought car insurance with them for a long time, and they speak Vietnamese which was a huge plus. We recently purchased a car, and in order to drive it off the lot, we had to have insurance on the car. On Saturday, we tried to call both PHP and our insurance and no one picked up. We tried all the numbers on our insurance card, and no one picked up! It wasn't late at night; it wasn't early in the morning. How can an insurance company and my agent not pick up? What would happen if I got into an accident and didn't hear from anyone to instruct me? How is this logical and how is this justified? They finally called me at back on MONDAY - at 6:00 PM. Needless to say, we cancelled. It was great they spoke Vietnamese, but that was just unacceptable. read more

I love to go to this place to figure out what insurance to get. And Max is my man, he helps me understand my situation doesn't convince me to get something too expensive with coverage I may not need. Whatever you do avoid HANNAH. These people are rude and unprofessional. Especially Hannah, all they care about is reaching their quota and commission. If you're no longer benefiting them, they'll start avoiding you and giving you nasty attitude. Hannah kept trying to persuade my mom to sign up for a certain health insurance even though she requested for Medicare cause she can no longer work as much. She even BEGGED her to pay another month so she can reach her new year quota. Kept lying that she was going to sign her up but never did. All she had to do was tell my mom the truth, that she didn't want to do it for her instead of stringing her along. read more

This review is based only on customer service, Carrie is horrible with member service, probably because i was not same race as her, i was asking questions, on every single question she was answering with attitude. When i got there, i told her i wanted to know if it was possible to switch agency because my agency is in Modesto. She didn't explained me it was not possible (the front desk told me it was possible) she just did a quote with a different company, i didn't request that. Before i leave i wanted to speak to a manager, she said she is not here, i went to the front desk i explained what happened and he took me with the assistant manager, i explained him the situation, he was like im sorry about that, sometimes we have a bad day. This review is specifically for Andy who helped us with our home insurance. I reached out to them for a quote and shortly after Andy contacted me and provided the quote. Price seems right so we went with them. Weeks later, we're getting ready to install solar panels on our roof, so I emailed him about the effect of insuring my Solar system with my policy. He called that evening and asked a few questions and promised to call back the following day once he contact the insurance company. Today, I completely forgot about the conversation, he caught me by surprise when he called to provide me with the quote and explained the differences in price and how it's covered. I came here to register and insure my car because I didnt want to go to the DMV. They charge you a $27 service fee but they do everything. Registration, ownership transfers, insurance, everything. The workers are diverse so the employees can accomodate to what ever language you speak. From my experiences, I know that they have Vietnamese, English, Spanish, and Cambodian speaking workers. Liem is my guy there and he is very helpful and does everything with no hassle and explain to you everything he is going to do. They do everything here that the DMV does but without the line hopping, wait, and rude DMV workers. A small fee charge to do 10 different thing for you ? Why not. read more

I went to PHP in 9/3/15 around 10.30a under the name Nga Tran. I was assisted to go to the 2nd office which located on the second floor. Then I met Chris and he said he couldn't help me to buy insurance and told me to wait for another person. Then I waited 1h30 to meet another assistant, the gentlemen sat next to Chris, I didn't remember his name, he said the open time for health insurance was closed, I couldn't get in. Why didn't Chris say that to me from the very beginning? So I didn't have to waste my time. In the evening I called for another Insurance broker, they asked me what they could help, I just said I needed to buy health insurance and they said the open time for health insurance was closed and I couldn't get in. I had no idea how this place got good reviews when their service is terrible. They took my $$ for doing the job that I was too busy to take care of, and now I have to spend more time to deal with their business. They had charged me $35 and took the car title which supposed to be sent to the DMV. After a month when I did not receive my new car title, I came to the office, and they gave me a duplicate request form to fill out and wanted to charge me another $40. What? Am I that stupid to them? Their responsibility is insured my paperwork reach DMV, and the duplicate request form is for when I lost the new car title myself. In this case, I had not received anything!!! I refused to fill out the form and to pay the stupid extra money. The one who handled my case promised me to solve the problem. Now after 3 months, my new and old car titles are in a black hole!!! YOU SHOULD CLOSE YOUR TRASH BUSINESS IF YOU CANNOT KEEP CUSTOMERS' DOCUMENTS AND KEEP YOUR GUARANTEE IN PROMISE. read more

I was with PHP insurance for over 9 years having bought a home owner's policy, a landlord insurance policy, an auto policy for two cars, and an umbrella policy, all with Safeco insurance. It wasn't until around November 2019 when I emailed the agent about getting an earthquake policy that I realize they had very poor communications and customer service. It would take them over 2 business days to reply to my emails. When I asked for changing the deductibles for my existing home owner's and rental policy, my questions were ignored. Those are just two examples of the slow service I received. I simply looked up a different agent who were authorized to service my current insurance, and transferred all 6 insurance policies over to the new agency. read more
