A shame since Cascade used to have even better deals than their Groupon deals. Not only did this location not have specials of any kind, the Groupon deals available for the other two locations didn't apply to this one. But, sadly, a Groupon deal wouldn't have made this sow's ear even into a denim purse. My haircut was pretty decent, but my student didn't even know how to apply a product - with only a month or so until graduation. My relative's hair wasn't even - not by a long shot. And our mani-pedis were, in the words of my relative, something out of a 3rd grade slumber party - and cost more than the haircuts. All in all, I'm out almost $60, and my relative needs to get her hair done by a licensed professional. And, soon, we'll both either have get our nails redone. And don't even whisper "French tip" as the student doesn't have a clue. Plus, although the website says hair color starts at $20, I was quoted $30. But, sadly, this is not the students' fault. At least not too much. For a group of about 20 or so young ladies, there was only one instructor. One! At the beginning of the cuts, the instructor did not work with the student to make sure the cut would work for the client or make sure the student knew what she was doing. The instructor did not check the cut to make sure it made sense. In the beginning, one has to sign an agreement not to sue. Instead of agreeing to anything, just go somewhere else.

I have been wanting a big loose curl perm for quite some time and thought this was the perfect opportunity. I attended beauty school when it was Cascade years ago and know perms are often done and hard to mess up so I jumped on it! At least we were capable when I went. I set an appt 3 weeks in advance at 11am specifically with an experienced student only to arrive at 11 to be told our appt was at 10 and since it wasn't busy now I am with someone else who had availability. Once I get in the chair I find out she's only been there a couple months and never done a boomerang perm. Ok... I was hesitant but know this is what they are in school for and have instructors watching and helping them. I showed them what I wanted (pics below),I went along with it. She wrapped my hair, very minimal talking/interaction...it took a couple hours so I didn't expect there to be talking the entire time but she didn't ask me anything aside if I've had a perm before. She began to apply the solution and the instructor who must have been new at the school decided to have me sit front ways into the sink to apply the solution, process, rinse and again with the 2nd solution. It was Extremely uncomfortable and by the time I was finished ALL of my make up was gone. My mascara seriously smeared all around my eyes, the front my my shirt drenched. I was pissed and super embarrassed. I get to the styling chair and looked at myself and it was NOT EVEN CLOSE to the pic I showed them (pic below). Some strands of my hair look like dreadlocks, others just wavy. At that point I just wanted to leave, didn't want to dry or anything. I knew if I began to talk I would be extremely rude and I by no means wanted to student to feel bad since she already did due to the way I was processed and she was doing the best she could. I go to pay...I was told prior that spiral perms would be $75 with the cut and style. I get to the counter, they tell me $75. I tell them I have the Groupon. They said the balance due was $45. I pay and leave. I was hardly paying attention since I was so irritated and upset. I get driving home and think about it... If i got a deal for a $60 service and mine came to 75, I should only be paying $15 extra!!!! I called and spoke with Nancy, who rang me up. She told me they only deducted $30 from the total. ...I paid $35 for a $60 service so where does the $30 come from? She stutters over her words a few times not making any kind of logic to then tell me in the end that the total of my service was $100....seriously after I was told by the 3 different people it was $75?!?! What?!?!?! So $60 was taken from the "$100" service. Well BASIC MATH SKILLS... if this were truly the case...that clearly comes to $40. At that point I was pissed...seriously wanted to cuss her out. And instead just said "ok well u charged me $45". She said she would refund the extra $5. I have yet to see that refund. Safe to say I won't and it's more of the principle that I waited for the refund to hit my account....although it should have been a $30 refund. I still tipped the student $20 because I know she did her best and it was probably 3hrs I was there with her so money spend was not the issue by any means. But to say the least, absolute terrible experience. Once they cash that Groupon, they would have gotten $105 for a $75 service that was not even remotely close to what was asked and shown to receive. I wouldn't have ever posted a review if I wasn't jipped of $30. That was just the cherry on top.

My daughter had to miss the recital because she was ill and it took months to get her costume. Every time I called, I was told that the owner would call me back. This didn't happen, so I decided to send email so that I had proof. I just wanted a costume that I paid over $100 for! When the owner finally contaxted me, I was told that everything from the recital was still in a trailer or attic and they needed to go through it. Hmmmm ok. It took MONTHS before they finally had the costume for me. So ridiculous. I should also mention that the Puyallup location I so gross! Dirty facility. Parents let their babies and toddlers run all over the place and leave trash. I couldn't believe it. No one asks them to be polite and stop talking inappropriately and loudly. It smells like dirty diapers. "Regulars" are dropped off and treat the facility like a dumpster. Yuck. Classes always started late as well.

The positive reviews must be from people who haven't been there long or something. My daughter danced there for 4 years and she loved it except for the last year and a half, which luckily was Covid so she had an easy way out. She was tired of being bullied and yelled at by coaches the owner. If you think I'm kidding, read the reviews below. This is not how our children should be treated. In addition to the unorganization, the "business model" is brilliant, for the owners, not the customer. They get your credit card and charge away. there's no possible way to track all the fees and charges and I believe it's that way by design. Just a complete mess. Stay away!!

Enjoy my email thread with WMST (in chronological order):…read more First email 5/1/2023: "Hi there, My name is Christopher and I missed this morning's class in Monroe due to several things outside my control that I believe need to be brought to your attention: The address for the classroom is not on the receipt (nor is the time), and the address on the website leads you to a grassy field in Monroe next to Evergreen Speedway with no further information other than to look for a building with a green roof (there are several). There are no signs nor contact numbers to call at 7:30am, including the instructors. I wandered around Evergreen speedway for an hour (I arrived at 7:15am) looking for a "green roof building" and a "guard house", both of which are on the opposite side of the property from the address that is on the website. No "WMST class (this way)" signs, no pictures of the building to meet in front of on the website, literally nothing to help someone who's never been to Evergreen Speedway. By the time I found them (which took asking three different people before I got the correct answer), I was 45 minutes past the class start time (after driving an hour to get there in the first place) and was turned away. I then proceeded to spend another hour and a half in the car driving home against I-405 traffic. The instructor was apologetic (and promised I could reschedule without further cost), and I appreciate that this isn't specifically anyone's fault, but it is *extremely* poor planning on the part of WMST. No signs, no further info on website, no way to contact anyone for help, a vague address and even more vague directions? This class can be done much better. I hope that you will allow me to reschedule my class at no additional cost, as I took two days off work and cancelled a doctor appointment to take this course today and tomorrow. Please, can you help me get registered into another class? Thank you" 2nd email 5/3/2023: "Hello, I contacted a couple days ago about getting a rescheduling for the beginner motorcycle permit class and haven't heard back. I missed the class due to preventable reasons outside my control. Can you please help me get a reschedule confirmation? Thanks" 3rd email 5/7/2023: "Hello, I contacted six days ago about getting a rescheduling for the beginner motorcycle permit class at no additional cost and haven't heard back. I missed the class due to preventable reasons outside my control which I listed in the first email, and make $300 a week, so it was a very expensive investment for me. Can you please help me get a reschedule confirmation? Please give me a call at (425)313-1091 or reply to this email. I am frequently away from the phone, so I've been using email because it is a much more reliable form of contact for me. Thanks" Their reply ten days later: "Good morning Christopher I'm sorry that I have been unable to reach you by phone on both May 1st and today.. Unfortunately, I am unable to reschedule this course with the original tuition paid. I can re-enroll you with a 10% discount in a future course as a courtesy. I'm sorry you had difficulty finding the course. The instructors did try to reach you by phone however you had provided a home telephone number instead of a cell phone. The instructors did wait in front of the green roof building restrooms per the email instructions until 7:40am to try to meet up with you. I have reviewed the email instructions for the location and they seem to be very accurate for this location" Basically called me an idiot and a liar, claimed I gave them the wrong phone number (no messages at home, which was not unoccupied during my absence, either) and kept my money after promising a free reschedule. No where in America does anyone get away with keeping money after not delivering promised goods and services, except WMST apparently. Do not trust them. Do not use them. Go *anywhere* else. You have been WARNED.

The morning half consisted of classroom time and the afternoon half was riding time. Don't be late! We learned quite a bit on safety and the capabilities of these 3-wheeled vehicles. There were quite a few models of Can-am Spyders and Rykers, as well as Trikes and motorcycles with sidecars. We were able to try out any we wanted. Both the written and riding tests are given on the 2nd day. Lee and Ray are wonderful instructors! They both had a great sense of humor and kept us engaged in the classroom. Their teaching style just works and I vastly improved in the 2 days of class. I had so much fun! I highly recommend class with the both of them. I did get my 2-wheel motorcycle endorsement from this location back in 2009. I took the (BRC) Basic Riders Course as well as the Additional Riding Session. They will hold the class no matter what the weather is so be prepared. I recall taking my BRC class during winter and the rain was horizontal with the parking lot filled with water. It definitely made it interesting when it came down to testing. If you're thinking of getting on a 2-wheel or 3-wheel vehicle but have never ridden before or have experience and just want to get your endorsement, this is the place to go.

When it came time for my daughter to take the written test Sharon would not return calls or texts to schedule the test. We ended up paying 911 Driving school to take both the written and drive test to get her license. I do not recommend 1st time Driving Academy in Auburn as long as Sharon is running it. Side note: Sharon also talked about her personal preference of organ donation. she told a class with parents and students that her husband did not want to be an organ donor. She said she planned to donate his organs anyway. Inappropriate discussion in my opinion.

The minus 3 stars are simply due to the school's lack of communication. I had an issue before the school started, but was able to finish all the steps to clear the problem. I did every step needed and was able to finish the class and get my CDL. This was in March. Now I've been trying to find employment so I can build a career and support my family, and I can't get past the beginning steps due to the school not sending the correct paperwork to show proof that the issue had been sorted before the class started. I've checked with every other involved party and it all comes back to this school that was supposed to send the necessary paperwork back when I finished the class. I've reached out for about 3 weeks now asking if they can sort this issue so I can finally start working. I spoke to Matt who said he'll sort it then never got back. I left a million messages for whoever Ashley is just so she can text and then never reply again. I've spend over $6k of MY OWN MONEY just so I can have a license to look at. I'm so sick of having to reach out to beg this school to LITERALLY do their job. I had to actually come to the school today just to try and get an answer. Usually I wouldn't make such a big deal, but I just wasted over $6k of my own money just to basically leave messages and talk to myself about an issue that they should've sorted MONTHS ago. I would not recommend unless your job is paying for it. And I know business owners always reply saying they want to assist but they never reply after that so no need. I've talked to myself plenty thanks.
