First time trying Jamaican food, and this quaint little place did not disappoint, walk up counter to order the gentleman behind the counter, suggested the right food for us. Seat yourself, they bring the food out to you and you can just enjoy a quiet conversation and delicious food. Visiting from South Florida and was looking for a good Caribbean meal. I ordered the jerk chicken meal as well as the Escoveitch fish meal and both were amazing. Both dishes were very flavorful which I was not expecting from a restaurant in Denver. I also had the sorrel ginger drink which was also very good. The beef patty was the best thing I had, while still not amazing, it was good. The roti was also good. I was very disappointed with the curry chicken however. Wow this place is a gem! We were looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled on this by chance. First we ordered mango-passion fruit and guava-pineapple juices which were delightful and fresh. We also ordered the spicy beef patties. They were delicious, perfectly flakey, and extremely well seasoned but not too spicy (I'm usually a wimp when it comes to heat). For my entree, I ordered the chicken curry with roti and my husband ordered the goat curry. Both were melt-in-your mouth delicious with just a touch of heat. The food was fresh, flavorful, immaculate--and abundant! I never need a box for lunches, but this time I did. The curry was extremely tasty without being the kind that'll come dancing out of your pours an hour later. The macaroni was cooked perfectly, both the cheese and the salad. The menu is huge and I could literally come here 15 times and order something new each time. The food here is packed with all the flavors and spices! The family that runs this restaurant is so friendly and you can tell the dishes are made with love.. it's the reason why it tastes so phenomenal! We ordered the Oxtail w/ Steamed Cabbage and Fried Plantains and Curry Goat with Mac & Cheese and Fried Plantains. The Oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender braised with butter beans, big chunky potato, and carrots in a flavorful deep gravy with a flavor profile that would send you straight to heaven! The Curry Goat consists of fresh goat meat (no gameyness at all) marinated in the finest Jamaican spices, onions, pimento seeds, garlic, thyme, curry spices which are all cooked to perfection. These two dishes were so good... I am still dreaming of it today. The Steamed Cabbage with spices and the Mac & Cheese was so creamy and cheesy, you can't wrong with either of those sides. The Fried Plantains were really good as well, perfect hint of sweetness to accompany your savory dish. The restaurant is very clean and organized- the only thing worth noting is that it took a little longer to get our food, not super super long but a little longer than usual, but who cares when it's this good?! If your looking for a meal that is just packed with flavor Reggae Pot is the place for you! We ended up ordering the Oxtail and Curry goat both were amazing! The Oxtail stew was packed with a variety of spices and could not have been better, it even came with some carrots and potatoes. We chose to get some plantains and cabbage on the side both were prepared perfectly and were really good. The Curry Goat was also delicious and had a good amount of potatoes! I really enjoyed how both of the dishes used meat attached to the bone it really added to the flavor! Could not have been happier with the taste of both meals a must try if your in the mood for Caribbean food. We walked over there to see the menu and found out they have been there for 3 years! We took a menu, and planned a visit. Ater seeing the Christmas light show at Hudson Gardens with friends, we had dinner. I had the curry potato & veggies with sides of baked Mac N cheese & fried plantains with a Jamaican soda, guava something. Sooooo good, all of it. I ate all of it. It was served on nice dinner ware. 1 Star is all they deserve today, take note. My experience today was far from pleasant. This was my first time going to Reggae Pot today and I placed an online to-go order for the Oxtail Plate with the Mac and cheese, Rice & Peas, one beef Patty and one Jerk Chicken Patty. After completing my order online it stated that it would take 30 minutes. Giving the restaurant grace on the order and it being a Saturday I arrived within about 37 minutes. When I arrived I was told that it would take 10 more minutes, that was fine for me, at that time I was excited to try the food. There were two online orders already in from of me waiting for there food. By the time I received my food after waiting an additional 10 minutes I was told that they were out of Beef Patties and Jerk Chicken Patties. To me in the restaurant business you always have have the opportunity to reach out to the customer to let them know if something is wrong and they chose not too. Instead I drove across town for half of the food I requested. It's one thing if I walked in off of the street but it's like, come on...wasted my time. Did even apologize for the inconvenience or offer me something else. Just expected me to wait another 20 minutes.... At this time I am waiting for a refund and tbh I'm going to also ask for my Pattie refund and a refund on that ridiculous $2.50 processing fee when they can even produce your order on time. Hopefully I receive it, if I don't I will update my review and let you know. All and all I was able to walk out with at least the Ox Tails, just okay not much meat for the 5 you receive for $24. The mac and cheese was dry and unflavored paired with that extremely dry rice and peas. I won't be coming back, I can make better food at home. There aren't many black owned businesses out here and this was disappointing. For the people that don't mind waiting half a day for there food, do them the decency to update your online orders so people can actually pick up and go with what they actually ordered. Stop the bull and take off that processing fee when you're already changing over $20 a plate. There's a reason why they aren't on DoorDash or Uber Eats. read more

Holy amaze balls this place is fantastic! I had no idea it was tucked away here next to Fuzzy's Tacos, but boy am I glad I tried it. The to go containers were not that good and both opened and started leaking precious chicken into the bag. On the plus side nothing leaked outside of the bag. When I requested baked mac n cheese, plantains were substituted. The employees here often give us a strange glance when I visit.
