I threw my moms surprise birthday here about a week ago and I have to say I'm glad I went with this venue! They were willing to work with me on the coverup for her surprise to the point where they even accommodated my wish to put up a different guest list on the seating chart so that when she walked in she wouldn't see people she knew on that list. The food was great, Albert and his staff were very professional and kind. They were very attentive to anything I or my guests needed, and I can't really say I have any complaints! We just had a Christening party in the Regency and what can I say- I'm VERY happy with the whole experience starting from the phone call and tour all the way to dealing with difficult guests during the event. They are professionals with a great customer service , great ethics. And food is DeLICiOUS - variety of salads and cold appetizers , very juicy and perfectly flavored BBQ- pork ribs, fish, lamb chops. The Hall after recent remodeling looks even better - all white classy and elegant! Laser show, movable dance floor and very flexible management makes it a great Banquet Hall! We recently had our daughter's baptism in the small hall aka Grey room and it was a perfect size hall for 40people. The boo and I have recently started our search for a wedding venue and The Regency was the 2nd venue we looked at (we have looked at several at this point). Just to compare, the first venue we saw was nice but the customer service was lackluster and we left feeling as though they could not care less whether we booked with them or not. Our experience with the Regency, however, was exactly what I hoped the first one would be like. As soon as we got to our appointment, Albert was extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. Honestly, out of all of the people we have dealt with at the venues we have looked at (like I said, we've looked at several), he was probably one of the nicest/most helpful. About the venue: the location is right on the corner of colorado & columbus, right next to the parking lot of the Glendale Galleria. The venue offers two rooms, one for the ceremony and the other for reception and both rooms are really modern and nice, I love the floor in the "gray room" (ceremony room) and the carpet in the reception room is very nice (most places have really ugly carpet, I notice these things). Pricing: Incredible for everything you get in the package, including extras (if you decide to add them). We informed Albert that we would be looking at other venues and Albert was not pushy and did not bombard us with calls or e-mails, which I appreciated. Decision time has come and we have actually decided that we would like to have our wedding outside of the area; however, if we ever host a large party, we will definitely consider booking it at The Regency. read more

Absolutely love this place! I had my bridal shower there last Sunday and I can't begin to explain how satisfied I was. First, the manager Albert was extremely helpful! He always checked in and made sure to answer any questions I had. He definitely made this whole experience super fun and also checked in after the event to make sure everything was to our liking. Second, it's such a great place to host an event for about 160(a little more) people. We had about 150 people at my event and everyone fit perfectly. Everyone was comfortable and the hall is pretty spacious. The food is AMAZING! Everyone kept saying how delicious everything was. Everything was honestly so incredible and Albert was very understanding about what I wanted to be done and was very accommodating. This place is amazing! We just had our holiday party event at this location. First of all, the decorations are really nice, simple but elegant. We used their small room and it was a perfect size for our party (about 60 people). We got some really amazing pictures.
