This is a good theater - better than average. I wouldn't typically write a 5 Star review for a 'good' establishment, even if it was better than average. But I am in this case. This cinema is clean, the popcorn is good, and the service is friendly. What made this establishment incredible to me was this: I lost an earring. I called the next day, figuring it was gone for good. Even if I lost it at the cinema, not at dinner, not walking from dinner to the movie, or from the movie to the truck, if it had been found and not vacuumed up, surely one of the teenaged staff would have simply pocketed it. However - the young man who answered the phone looked and looked (he had me hold on the phone for quite a few minutes), and came back and asked me to describe the earring. I did - and he had it. I know this should be normal, that people turn things in to the lost & found... But sadly, I don't think that's normal any more. So thank you, Regal Cinemas at the Old Mill, for a good movie experience, and for finding (and holding) my lost earring! We will be back. read more

This movie theater isn't anything special compared to any other modern movie theater however it is very accommodating. The employees are young but far from careless, when we went to the Transformers Movie in 3-D and IMAX the employees sure did take care of us. We ordered stuff that they had ran out of but they nicely offered other alternatives. I'm new to town and this was a perfect way to meet new people. Definitely going back! read more

Today, after the debacle at a place which I just previously posted, I decided to take my son to the movies. After ordering big (from not eatting at previous post's location) my son only grabbed one thing (requiring the use of two hands) and left the rest to me. Never seen a grosser, dirtier, or un-organized theater. The bathrooms where discussing and the movie theater was filled with trash from movies before. Even walking around the hallways with carpets, there was popcorn everywhere. Would NOT recommend to anyone. The movie "The Accountant" was a 10/10 however. read more

IMAX experiences are the reason we attend this theater. The main con for me is parking. Regal at Old Mill is an anchor at the end of a retail complex that holds a host of popular restaurants, shops and REI; and parking is a challenge. For the theater itself, I find the staff friendly, the IMAX theater clean and comfortable with its stadium style set up, sound is good, and 3-D glasses always in good shape (trust me, I have been issued sad excuses for 3-D glasses at other theaters). I don't know if this was a special deal, but we got the large barrel of popcorn and then a refill in it on the way out. read more

Regal Old Mill - Great! - Cinema Near Me - Bend, Oregon

I have been constantly disappointed. Waiting outside in the freezing cold for tickets to find out the movie I want to see is sold out?! No sign out front? Not until you get up to the actual ticket window! On top of that there is only two matinee showings? For Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them??? Both showings are constantly sold out, but they can't do another showing? And they allow tickets to be purchased in advance but can't say they are sold out until I drive 30+ minutes away, and stand in line for 20 more??? Update. They changed times. So I tried again. I called 20 minutes before the showing. I verified that they were not sold out, no lines. I was already in the car on my way and waisted time and gas again!! I get to the window and am told it's just sold out???? And the "lady" at the ticket sales was laughing!!! Nice customer service! I flipping hate this place! Overpriced! Poor customer service from the teenagers snickering behind the window! read more

Decent enough theatre for a big chain. About the normal level of misery you'll find getting parking, waiting in line, lack of staffing. Audio is in 7.1. Digital projection isn't 4K, there's no ad, so I couldn't tell you what they're running, but you can see pixelated edges on text and high contrast images. They do serve beer, but there are few places in Bend that don't. The worst has to be the ushers with the red cones. The movies are interrupted 3 or 4 times a show by irritating glowing red cones. Completely takes the viewers out of the film. read more

Very dirty theater. Bathrooms are always dirty and something is usually broken. Theater was dirty with spilt food and drinks all over. As it is pretty much the only movie theater in Bend I don't think they care as to the condition of the place. read more

This theatre is the worst cinema I have ever experienced, anywhere, EVER, and I have been to a lot of cinemas. We received the wrong change, off by over $10, from the ticket lady. We missed the first part of our movie waiting in a 10 customer line as one person took concession orders. This wouldn't be an issue if there was only one person behind the counter, but there were literally 7, 4 of which were standing in the corner laughing and talking to each other (two of them were MANAGERS), totally ignoring the fact that there were customers waiting. The soft spoken girl that was actually doing her job had to raise her voice at least 3 octaves, telling everyone to open the rest of the concession registers 3 times before they listened. When the concession registers were opened, the girl who served us asked us 3 times what soda we wanted and put WAAAAY too much butter on the popcorn. We had to go back and exchange our Sprite for root beer because it was so watered down, it was disgusting. It's a shame that this theatre sends all it's customers running, because it's in such a profitable location. Whoever runs this place needs to hire some people who are actually capable of fulfilling duties in the job description. It is not that difficult to do. read more

The concession counter has gotten so ridiculous. They'll have 3 people working at them and 50 people in line. People are late for movies all the time, they kniw weekends are busy. Don't make customers wait 20 min for their stuff. So ridiculous. Time and patience is money. read more

There is this pathetic employee named Lindsey. She called my children troglodytes and mongoloids. What those two words mean, I have no clue. She seemed to be a little sick in the head. She smelled of popcorn grease and week old sweat as she rubbed up on my son of 4 years. I rarely ever go out of state and was really excited to see the Purge with my extended family. She wasn't too mean, but she made this movie going experience pretty mediocre. read more

everything is so expensive ex.. water just a bottle of water is about 4$ like i should get just a simple bottle of water for about a 1$. like people are already spending about 11+ $ just for a ticket . i would rather wait for it to be up on netflix and then go to the 1$ tree and get some candy and chill with friends like there is candy there that is 4$+ when i could get that at the 1$ tree like they need to lower there prices .... and i can get an xl Slurpee at 7/11 for about 2$ we a large is about 6$+ read more

It's a over priced movie theatre with very uncomfortable seats. Want to go on a date night with just popcorn and drinks? That is a quick $40. read more

Pretty average movie theater. The seats are a little weird- they lean back pretty far and kind of make you feel like you're falling. I did like that the snacks were large... A small drink was still pretty big which is nice considering how stupidly expensive movie theater food is. read more

Absolute TRASH. This is probably the worst movie theater I have ever been. The workers would not let us get in a movie we already seen because we "are too under age". But we had a adult with us to go see the movie! Also the guy wouldn't stop bugging us on to leave the movie theater when we were looking what other movies there was. Decent theater. Went to see Harry Potter here yesterday as a respite from the hot weather outside. While the screen was relatively small, the seats were comfortable and well-placed. I didn't order any, but the prices on the food and drink were decent compared to other theaters. read more

Went to a evening showing after seeing the time posted on their web-site. Upon arrival, was told that the showing was cancelled. Ticket sales person informed me that occasionally this happens and I would want to speak w/a manager re: some form of "comp", (I had driven 35 miles to see this movie). Manager stated he "understood" my irritation and agreed that this was an inconvenience for me. Further told me that this was due to their movies being scheduled by a third party. While the manager was polite, he offered no apology and was unwilling to offer so much as a free ticket. Manager further informed that was Regal policy. Manager referred me to manager on duty the next day. When talking to the 2nd manager the next day, she re-iterated that this is Regal policy and that it seldom occurs. After talking to "corporate". I finally received an apology and was compensated. However, when relating this experience to a friend, he told me that this has happened to him on numerous occasions. Fortunately, for my friend, he lives close to the theater. Terrible customer service, no accountability, passing the buck and blaming it on "policy". read more
