I've had gel manicures in the past and they've been fine. This particular nail tech took a drill such as a Dremel and filed my nails down to nothing and I told him please don't do that. They are burning and he did not speak any English now my nails are super thin and breaking very easily and hurting from constant hang nails. I went back to the nail salon and told what who I think is the owner and he berated me at first and then tried to be very kind, but my nails are shot and I have had them done before this trying to grow them out and had no issue. I just think it depends on who you get, but I would never recommend the nail salon because of the way the owner treated me initially and no refund and my nails are falling apart day by day. I've never given a review of a business before, so this is big for me, but my nails are hurting if you want beautiful nails for one day you can go there but if you want strong nails to last, I would not go there.

They have the standard massage chairs and offer a drink with service.

I walked in and was greeted where they asked what I was looking for - I wanted a gel manicure which went for $40 and a classic pedicure $35. As is tradition, I let the nail tech choose the pedicure color so was pleasantly surprised with an autumn inspire "57". For my hands I wanted something more light and neutral so got the "Humidi-Tea" since it's still warm this month. Anthony is great humored and friendly. I'm sure if you walk-in no matter the tech they'll treat you well. I like the aesthetic of the salon and it's clean with protective coverings on the wash basins. No free feet pics but truly, seek out "57" for a warm, dark cranberry color that he picked out! Great spot to get your nails done in a stitch!

However,…read moreimmediately following me posting it, an influx of "Google user" reviews with no real name popped up. One can only assume why and how this occurred... I had an awesome pedicure here done by a male. I had a regular manicure scheduled at the same time and was transferred to Sarah. She suggested acrylic tips which I approved. I left happy after the initial application with cherry design. Unfortunately, they started lifting on several fingers by week 2. I went back for a fill week 3 and it was an AWFUL experience. She advised she knew how to fix the minor lifting. Ok, no problem. However, she over drilled and left my cuticles red and burning for a few days after. I walked out of there feeling the throb from the drill. Her design this time was poorly done. They were short staff and someone was waiting for her to get a pedicure, so maybe that's why? There is no excuse for the over drilling though. I went elsewhere for a fill and she acknowledged the damage and lifting (again) without me mentioning it. If I could rewind I would try the tech here that came recommended to me (Patrick or Franklin, I believe).
