Homemade everything, especially the french bread is what sets it apart from the others. I can't believe no other place (that I know of) uses this bread - it makes all the difference. This place is known for their turkey subs - real roasted turkey, not sliced deli turkey. Like the kind right off the Thanksgiving table. This turkey paired with the homemade bread and fresh toppings is an unbeatable combo. The tuna sub is one of my favorites. Tuna is just right - not watery and not dry. Another favorite is the ham, bacon and swiss melt with honey mustard. I am not a ham or swiss person but I am a huge honey mustard fan, which is what drew me to this sandwich. This combo works so surprisingly well and I'm so glad I ignored my initial hesitation to get it. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. I would absolutely recommend giving it a try! *cash only*

Only it's better than what you'd normally eat at a bar, because it's really flippin' delicious. Gigantic logs of heavily seasoned and breaded mozzarella are underserved by being called "sticks." They are truly massive, and while my wife was a bit put off by the heavy hand that applies the Italian breadcrumb herbs and crust, I found it a pleasant variation of the light, wispy beer batter. And did I mention these things are huge? Absolutely steal for $8. Crinkle cut fries were crisp after the ride home, and while I like my steak bomb, I didn't love it. Way too bready (which was also bone dry) and the shape of the thing made it nearly impossible to eat as a sandwich. I gave up and fork+knifed its insides. When I arrived at this location I was greeted by workers on the side of building smoking cigarettes and god only knows what else and their friends who look like they just got out of jail or rehab? When inside the same workers are now making my sandwich. Great!! Sandwich is now made, I hope it does not taste like an ashtray. When paying the woman at the register had maybee 3 or 4 teeth and would not shut up about how she knows a guy who makes moonshine in his garage. I had a winning scratch ticket for $20 and lady only gave me $10 back. Honest mistake? Maybee too much moonshine? Anyways I made it out alive! Seriously where is the camera crew for this place! The sandwich was just ok and my beer was expired and tasted like pennies. Overall a 1 star experience! read more

You are not allowed to make a complaint or better yet a suggestion at this establishment. The owner takes it very personal and his fragile ego gets hurt. They should be ashamed of themselves and how they treat paying customers. I get the vibe they have a sense of entitlement because their father built a business and handed it to them. Classic case of a business that used to be good and second generation flushing it down the toilet with their pompous attitude. read more

If you call ahead, they will get everything packed for you, which is great if you are in a hurry. I strongly recommend this as it seems they are often short staffed and the wait can be long. I've tried their short ribs, lobster raviolis, chicken piccata, house made chicken fingers, cheese pizza, mac and cheese, kale and veggie dumplings, quinoa cakes, toasted broccoli and yukon mashed potatoes. Most of the items we have tried are fine, with the short ribs and mashed potatoes being the favorite for the family and friends. The one component that is missing from this dish is a sauce. It is sold "dry" so if you want a nice sauce or gravy to drizzle over the ribs and potatoes, be prepared to make it yourself. The cheese pizza was the biggest disappointment -- just not good. Their mashed potatoes and chicken fingers are also good. Their menu does not change much. This may be good for some as I am sure there are some fan favorites on the menu, but a little variety would be much appreciated. My biggest concern with this place is that it can be very inconsistent. I bought chicken piccata twice -- first was good, the second tasted off (like one of the ingredients was not quite fresh and it made the entire dish bad). Each time, I purchased two or three and not all of the ones I purchased had that strange taste (I think it was the capers -- a batch must have been past its prime.) Now, I've been there and have seen the staff assemble some of the entrees. The last time I saw them preparing chicken piccata, starting with frozen chicken breast. I can't vouch for whether these were prepared a head of time on location or whether they were purchased but it made me wonder "hmmmm..." Everything (unless you hit it at the right time) is frozen and can take a long time to re-heat (many up to an hour plus). While the convenience of not having to prep and cook is appealing on many occasions, I have reservations of the long reheating times, the inconsistencies of the food quality and lack of variety at this place.
