This is my local big theatre with IMAX. Located in the Temecula mall. Been here many times and I've always found the snack area to be clean as well as the theatre. The customer service has always been good, no complaints here. Seats are in good condition and very comfortable....I have to laugh cuz we always get popcorn and a coke. And its always good. My wife lets me pig out on the popcorn....We got here early and grabbed a pizza from CPK so no popcorn this round. We've seen movies in imax as well a d 3d and regular here, all good! read more

Pretty hard to screw up a movie theatre, really easy to screw up a snack bar. The theatre itself is pretty nice, clean with good seating. The sound is as good or better than most, and the climate isn't freezing like some. Unfortunately the staff behind the counter of the concession stand seem to gauge time with a calendar instead of a watch. It took FOREVER to get helped and taken care of. Cute little movie theatre by the mall so it's nice if you feel like shopping before or after your movies. I usually peruse the mall while waiting for our movies to start. I went again this past weekend to see "inside Out" cute movie, but we didn't pay matinee prices even though it was during the day. The kids box of popcorn, fruit snacks and juice was outrageous but it was better than getting a huge thing of popcorn. The large icee is HUGE!!!! I couldn't finish it, but it is pricey so I'm glad I'm getting my money's worth. The seats are a bit sensitive to little kids, so I had to prop my daughter on my lap since she couldn't keep the seat down, even at 2 years old. I was hoping she was able to sit on her own but the front part of the seat kept flipping up on her. The theatre gets really really really cold with the AC blasting so bring a jacket. My little girl kept asking for a jacket, it was cold. I was too, so we got hot chocolate. Touche on blasting the AC so cold that we all run to get hot chocolate...in JULY! read more

DO NOT PAY FOR THE FAKE IMAX HERE!!! For REAL IMAX go to Escondido or Ontario Edwards!!! Now that you've been warned this is probably the nicest theater in town, great sound quality, picture is good but like others have said it does get very crowded on Fri & Sat nights. They also have 2 automated ticket booths/ATM's outside which help with getting your tickets faster since they usually don't have lines. The concession stand here is pricey just like any other theater so that shouldn't come as a shocker to anyone who has gone to the movies in the last decade. The staff here is helpful on the few occasions I needed assistance and I actually like the fact that it is located near the Promenade since there are more dining options in the area. My advice to anyone who regularly visits this chain of theaters is to sign up for the Regal rewards club card so you can earn free popcorn, drinks or even tickets. P.S. SAVE MONEY!!!!!! By buying your tickets at Costco for around $7 ahead of time. read more

I LOVE the movies! I love to laugh and of course eat popcorn so this is often my second home! Sign up for the regal rewards card (mobile version too) to earn free soda, popcorn and movie passes! Typically you earn something everything few trips. Don't forget to use your regal rewards at the concession stand, those points add up! TIP: Parents/adult required for rated R movie! Not just to buy the ticket, they have to attend with minors to watch the movie as we. They DO check ticket stubs at this theatre upon entry, I've seen several occasions with minors under 18 WITH movie passes purchased and were turned away to rated R movies because of their policy stating that minors can only see the movie WITH an adult. I really enjoy their popcorn and candy selection! They have the zebra popcorn, for those of you whom don't know it's popcorn drizzled in chocolate and its to die for! Overall, very clean, great location, and friendly staff! As soon as you walk in it smells absolutely amazing! Popcorn, popcorn and more popcorn! Comfortable seats and multiple screens. I haven't been to this theater in years, and it's probably my last time. The theater and concessions are clean, but everything else was not worth it. 1. Tickets for Star Wars were $18. That's fine if you're getting reclining seats or have space. These are stadium seating and the seats are too close together. I'm a bigger guy and I was uncomfortable the entire time. If you're charging $18 a ticket I should at least get a comfortable reclining chair 2. The food prices are ridiculous. $9 for a large popcorn and $6 for a large coke with a limited selection. Other theaters have the freestyle coke machine and refills available. Here you get your standard choice of regular soft drinks with very little variety. 3. This was the worst part in my opinion... my movie started at 12:00. The actual movie started at 12:30... 30 minutes of previews? There was an IMAX "trailer" for a movie that lasted 5+ minutes. It felt like the started the wrong movie. Unfortunately, I don't see myself going back to this theater any time soon. read more

This is the busy theater in Temecula. Its in the mall area, so depending on when you go it can be packed with young kids and very difficult to find a parking spot. Especially on a Friday and Saturday night. This theater is pretty strict about outside food and drinks. I wouldn't even bother trying. Especially now because they're searching all bags when you enter. Kind of a drag that the world has come to this. The seats are comfy. The back row has a nice gap in between the next row of seats. If you hate having someone kick your chair, and like to stretch out your legs, I'd recommend sitting there. read more

Most theaters know that the kids are on vacation as well as adults. We went to a 12:50 movie. I counted and there were literally 46 people in line. They only had 2 people working the tickets Then only 3 lines open for popcorn etc I only wanted a water. 25 minutes later So sad. This theater is located at the mall in Temecula next to Lucilles Bbq place. Best place to park is behind Sears to avoid traffic. We have the fandango app and always buy our tickets in advance to avoid waiting in lines. You go right up to them and they scan your ticket and you're in! The actual theater is very nice. It's huge and it's well maintained. My only suggestion is that they offer better food selection. They only offer the typical movie theater junk food. I have been to theaters that offer restaurant style food and even drinks! That would make this place perfect. The chairs are comfortable and staff keeps the theaters cleaned up after each crowd. The staff is friendly and curtious and you're always greered with a smile and a hello. They always remind me about my point card so I can continue collecting points and earn rewards. If I could give absolutely no stars, I would've chosen that. So we're at the concession stand, there are 2 cashiers and it is painfully slow. I got in line at 1:56 and it is now 2:09 and I'm 5 people away from being helped. A manager has come and gone and did absolutely nothing but count out a drawer and close a register. So now there is just one cashier. Flash forward to 2 minutes later, the manager Casey B. came back, but is counting money and touching popcorn. The cashier is awesome and doing the best he can, I feel sorry for him and the poor scheduling and even worse management. Don't come here. Update: it has now been 40 minutes and I don't have what I ordered. I've already missed 40 minutes of the movie, I'm out $47 for concession items I don't even have. I would ask for a refund but who knows how long that would take. I didn't get my remaining items until around 2:40pm. read more

Went into the theater, which was big and nice but the IMAX theater wasn't marked and I was so enveloped in conversation with Andrea (keep in mind, we haven't seen each other in more than a year) that we both just walked past the theater. I think I remember the usher who tore the expensive tickets ($18 a piece) said the theater was on the left side but I wasn't sure. The IMAX theater, which is normally bigger than any of the the other theaters, was the same size as the others. The theater was mostly empty on a weeknight, which isn't a big surprise. The seats were okay in comfort, but I didn't like the fact that you couldn't lift the armrest to be closer to your date or something. The exterior of the theater was nice and big, though I couldn't understand why the showtime marquee kept each one of the showtimes constantly moving on the screen. My eyes were already doing a search for the showtimes (thankfully, the IMAX HP showtime stayed still) and the constant moving was unnecessary. read more

This place will probably not be in business much longer. Friday night and it was like a ghost town. It's the only theater in this area that still has super uncomfortable seats. When the place does get busy expect to wait 20 minutes in line for popcorn etc. as their staff is either poorly trained or the process is just slow. Also bring a blanket or two as some of the theaters either have broken heaters or the management is too cheap to turn them on. It's not very pleasant shivering for 2 hours in a refrigerated theater. Was going to watch the Omen movie today and then a gentleman shows up after 5 minutes of the movie staring with a backpack. He proceeded to walk across the entire theater completely to the other side of the theater top row in the back corner to our left side. We noticed him as well as many others in the theater as they turned around to see where he was sitting. We felt very uncomfortable walked out and left the theater. We tracked down a manager and told him about the situation and he mentioned to us that " he is a regular" I then said I don't know him and don't care we all felt very uncomfortable. My wife then asked if they searched the bag with metal detectors, then he said "NO" but they searched the bag and all compartments, as that was supposed to be ok and make us feel safe. Manager was nice and gave us future tickets for another date, but this defeats the purpose. The world we live in we need to be more cautious, and have better security measures. read more

Friendly and attentive staff! My husband and I come in 3-5 times a month during the week or on weekends and we have no complaints. Ticketing booth staff always always greets us with a smile (huge plus), walking in is usually backed up because they check your tickets (good job!) and concession booth staff again friendly and doesn't rush you (even though we are always prepared with our order). I went to see Scream 6 here for the 4DX experience and the seats were small. The Regal in Ontario is 100x better. The best part was when I ordered a drink at the bar, and the "bartender" didn't know how to make a single drink. Not even a margarita. read more

I wrote this on my phone last year but because Yelp didn't allow mobile posting back then I'm a bit behind in posting... 07.04.2013 I bought our tickets for Despicable Me 2 via Fandango a few days before the 4th of July show and did the "Mobile Ticket" option. The show was scheduled for 10:00 am so we showed up at 9:30 since it was a holiday and first showing after opening day. When we showed up I opened the text they sent me and all we did was walk up to the entrance, no waiting in line to buy tickets, not even waiting in line to use the kiosk/ATM-like machine to print out tickets. The employee said the scanner was broken and showed us to the Customer Service counter where the manager (Rosy) told us the movie was at 10:30 am, not 10:00 am. So she apologized and offered us 4 more "FREE" movie passes. She suggested my hubby hurry to find seats while I waited for the passes. How awesome is that?!?! By the way, the movie was great for my kids AND me and my hubby!!! read more

I will not go back to any Regal and/or IMAX theater. I saw Ad Astra last night and the sound was way off. It was turned up too loud and the bass was up full. It would have deafened you if you sat through the whole movie. I complained to the manager who contacted a remote site which finally cleaned it up. Get this, no-one in the theater actually checks anything about the show. It's all run by remote. All Regal and IMAX care about is selling popcorn at inflated prices. That was the third bad experience I have had with IMAX and the third with REGAL. There will not be another since I am not going back. BTW the theater is not a true IMAX, the screen is barely larger than a conventional screen. IMAX used to be a quality night out, now it is crap. read more

I've been to this theater many times since I moved here at the age of 10, and have never really had much of a problem.....till now. Went to order food at the lobby before my movie started. The long line and wait, I would have forgiven. The lady at the cash register rolling her eyes at me and then making mocking expressions at her coworker when I ordered onion rings with ranch, I will not. I get that it's late in the day, you're tired, you wanna go home to your bed and mimosas, the line keeps getting longer, you don't want to deal with people etc., etc., you know, I've been there. I understand. But at least have the audacity to act like a professional when you're clocked in, and save the whining and ranting and gossiping for the breakroom, or AFTER you clock out. What you did was ABSOLUTELY unprofessional. You not only made me feel embarrassed by my order, but you also made me feel ashamed to be at that theater. I don't even understand what I did wrong to make you feel so petty. I always try my best to treat people in any industry with respect, because I understand how hard it is. And the more I try to figure out what I could have said or what I had done to make you act like this towards me, the more I become confused and upset. Honestly, you need to do better. Or rather, you need to BE BETTER. Because a lot of the special events I enjoy are spread between this theater and Reading Cinemas, I will probably have no other choice but to come back. But if this is how the staff at Edwards will treat all their customers from now on, I honestly won't mind driving a little further out to avoid this theater. It's honestly such a shame. read more

This is a decent venue because it is well maintained but they keep the temperature very low in the cooler times of the year. We keep our thermometer set to hold at 67*F which a little cool but the temperature is so COLD here lately that neither of us can feel warm enough after adding several layers including a blanket for my wife. We have discussed this with management repeatedly but they argue that it is not too cold when many enter bundled up with extra blankets. It must be very expensive to just keep the massive lobby area sooo cold...not to mention the 15 theaters. ALSO: it is not possible to park close to the entrance even with a handicap placard. This theater is old and dirty, and is more expensive than the theater on Ynez which is crazy because this theater doesn't have the big reclining seats like the Ynez theater does. The food was also gross, the staff are super rude, there is no order or organization to the lines at the concession stand, it's just one big disappointment. We went to a "special event" screening yesterday and this theater is TRASH. They had no sound during the trailers, the first 10 mins of the movie was a black screen, and when they restarted it they cut off the directors intro to the film! Seats are uncomfortable, food was awful, and they give you no box or a way to carry your snacks to the theater..... cut to me sitting in spilled-hot-liquid cheese for the entire movie. Pretty standard as movie theaters go. It's pricey but, it matches the going rate. You only get a refill on drinks if you get a large, that's a bummer. It's lobbies and lavatories are both well kept, employees are generally friendly and helpful, and the theater is centrally located to the mall so, access and parking is a breeze. Lots of restaurants surround the area so, make a date if it. Or...wait a few weeks for your desired film to show up at the Temeku discount theater and enjoy a unlimited refills on drinks, better popcorn, and a flick all without breaking the bank (or maybe even a $20 spot). read more

I don't get out to the theater very much these days. So when I go I love watching movies in IMAX and/or Dolby Atmos. I recently paid almost $50 for two people to see Glass in IMAX. The whole time I was watching the movie all I could think about was how ripped off I felt. Movie didn't fit the entire screen (not IMAX), screen had visible streaks on it, and we were the only two people on opening Friday night. Sound was ok but wasn't Dolby Atmos. I would of had a better experience and saved money watching at home. Theaters need to step up the game. read more
