He told us the repair would take 3-4 days, but it ended up dragging on for weeks with multiple delays. Eventually, he shipped the computer back to me without my permission, and it arrived with the stand broken and the fan still unfixed. He said he would come fix it once the new fan came in, but after waiting over a month with no resolution, I finally gave up and ordered the fan and a new stand myself and had someone else complete the repairs. Kevin drove to us the same day we called. He came twice, once for a diagnostic type visit and then again to actually replace the necessary part a few days later. But what pleased us the most was that during the first visit, rather than just take off with my laptop and say he'll return it in 5-7 days (like other repair shops), he actually sat in my office, took apart the laptop and offered a temporary FIX so that I could continue using the laptop while waiting for the new keyboard to be delivered. He told me that he charges $200 to come out and if he can fix it he will, but if not he will come up with a solution to present. I explained the problems to him and we asked him to come out. He showed up at our house and spent less than 15 minutes walking around our house and talking to my husband. Then he said he had an idea on what to fix and would send us a quote. NEVER did he test our system or look at the wiring. He didn't even bother to check and see if it was PLUGGED in!! He sends us an estimate for almost $1200. When my husband asked about the estimate, he said we could not do some of the things recommended to bring down the price. Really? I thought the point was you would send us what would fix it.
