Jennifer is a great nail tech with 30 years of experience and the owner and esthetician with more than 20 years of ownership and esthetician experience. Jennifer has loyal customers that have been going to her for over 20 years and usually is in high demand for service so if she accepts new clients, expect to wait a little for an appointment, but it's worth it. Greg, the owner is so kind and gentle and love getting to talk to him when I see him. There's always coffee and snacks for guests and the waiting chairs are so comfy. This is a cute and small salon, however everyone who works here, works with a BIG heart. I trust no one else besides Gregory with my skincare and brows. I have light acne but didn't have to go to the dermatologist because of how well he took care of my skin. He is obsessed with beauty and gives great recommendations for maintaining your skin's health. Plus he is unbelievably friendly. While Ly (or Lee) is down-to-earth and respects her clients. She likes to give tips on how to make nail polishes stay on longer or what colors are in season at the moment. My nails always look nice and extra shiny when she is done with them. For hair I always have Carlos do my hair, even though there are two other hair specialists there. Washing and shampooing of the hair is complimentary when you get a cut or a trim. He educates his clients about hair and pays extraordinary attention to the details that could possibly impact how you would look with the hair such as your face shape, thickness and your hair's health. Hey! This great little salon is located in a small plaza which you would never notice. It's by the dry cleaners. I'm telling you because if you want perfect eyebrows and a relaxing facial, this is the place to go. Gregory is a master at his trade. And you won't feel like you are in a torture session either. Today I tried a pedicure by a lovely lady named Lee. I'm very picky about my nail and pedicure services, as I am a perfectionist nail tech myself and have very high standards. You will love this salon and more so, the people who work in it. I initially came to Refresh to see Ly for my nails. She is a detailed nail tech who truly wants her clients to be happy. She is so kind & professional. She always goes above and beyond my expectations (and I am also in a beauty service industry). Ly is very thorough and literally gets every little piece of cuticle/hang nail/dry skin so I have the cleanest nails ever! Carlos does my hair and wow, he is amazing. I have seen SO many colorists who have left me disappointed and was truly blessed to find him. He is extremely detailed and is a perfectionist which is what I had been missing in the past. Other stylists rushed through or the quality and consistency deteriorated over time. Not with Carlos! My husband has mentioned many times that I cannot have anyone else do my hair besides Carlos lol. I've had a lot of haircuts over the years and this is the best cut I've ever received. Don't be confused by the location, a small strip center, this is a hidden gem. I have very fine, shoulder length hair and after major surgery and long recovery if was a mess. Carlos is someone who listens and works with you, not pushy at all. In fact it's a very relaxed, friendly environment I brought in a couple pictures of a cuts I liked, Carlos and I discussed the best way to incorporate what was best for me. I have sections that are fully grey, not in an attractive way, and Carlos worked in highlights that evened out the look, then gave me a great, short cut that brought out my waves and curls.
