She's obsessed with their hoodies and sweatpants and insisted we stop in while shopping downtown even though we have one in the burbs because this one is bigger and better. I'm not sure if it's better, but I will say the sales associate who helped us was so lovely. I'm annoyed i forgot to get her name to give her some Yelp love, but she helped us find a super puff jacket (the warmest coats!) and another super puff vest that wasn't in stock so had it shipped to our house. There was a small line for the fitting room, but seemed short after what we had just waited in at Brandy Melville across the street. And checkout was a breeze. I find their quality really great and their pricing fair (maybe pricey if you're buying it for a 13 year old). I have a feeling I may be stealing one of my daughter's super puff jackets (yes, she has a few!) this winter because they are perfect for our Chicago winters!

I know it's not a big deal, but it kind of ruined my experience. Came in on a Monday evening around 6:30, they're not many people in the store so I kind of enjoyed a little more as I am a more relaxed shopper and get more anxiety with a lot of people running around. I had to return a sweater and I went to browse a few items to use for the remaining balance of my gift card, a very nice woman help me pick out a few options that she thought we might look good with the clothes that I already had in my hand. She had also gotten me a fitting room, but I had to ask the other employees for help with the fitting as she was more on the floor sales -which is totally totally fine. Finally found a dress that I liked and checkout was fine but I live in Chicago, so I definitely should know that there is a bag tax. I just totally forgot and definitely wouldn't have taken the bag if they would have said something.

I usually hit up Bloomingdale's across the street for my fix; this location, with its spacious interiors and vast accessory and shoe sections to complement the delectable wearables, made me realize just what I was missing. As a walk down retail memory lane, Cop Copine (now in the 900 North Shops) used to be in this location. There was only one other customer in the store and the retail experience was what I appreciate the most- attentive without being overbearing. I ended up with a dress for an event in April (originally $600, marked down to $350) and a skirt and top. Unfortunately for me - maybe not so much for my pocketbook - the full skirt that I was eyeing (on full price) was not available in my size. The personalized service and nifty garment bag that folded up and over into shopping-bag proportions all contributed to my good shopping vibes. Word to the wise: the sale will be ending in a matter of days, at which time all the goods will be packed up and shipped off to the warehouse to make way for Spring 2015 goods. If you want to check out the sale goods while they still last, I suggest coming here without delay.

I live near this wonderful store and stop in often…read more I am always greeted with a smile and a warm hello. The staff is very knowledgeable on their inventory and are always ready to assist you. Whether I am looking for myself or for a special gift I am always happy when I leave. The selection is huge. Everything is organized by color or type of clothing. The swim suit section is fantastic. The outfits on display have necklaces as well so it is easy to see how cute it will be when you wear it. Watch for their great sales. It's always fun to get something extra cute at a bargain price!

I've shopped here multiple times with my Pyrenees and I love the fact that everything here is either 100% cotton or very close to it. All the intimates I've purchased fit extremely well or I wouldn't keep coming back. I prefer leaving five stars as a local guide but instead I'm leaving three because of the fact that you can't try on anything here before you buy it so if you aren't a Chicago local you're out of luck. So far i haven't had to return anything though because all of these dresses have adjustable straps and if you buy drawstring shorts you can tighten or loosen the material to fit your body type. I am only five foot one so I can definitely fit into these clothes. The only item that didn't fit me well are a pair of denim shorts I purchased but I may either resell them or lose a bit of weight lol. Here all the fitting rooms are permanently closed. But what really upset me yesterday was the fact that I wanted to try on a metallic gold sweater top but the security guard stopped me and said it's the store policy that no one can try anything on not even a sweater! I don't agree with that policy nor have I ever shopped at a boutique women's clothing store where you can't try on something as simple as a sweater! I also wish to add that when you check out not all the girls are friendly. You're told that all intimates are non refundable as a warning and they never ask you if you've had a pleasant shopping experience. They ring everything up kind of like it's just a job to them then ask you if you want a bag? May I suggest to upper management that you train your staff to be kinder and bag everything up. Better yet provide cute cloth bags as a kindness a cute complimentary cloth bag that we can reuse like the bags provided by Free People brand so that it's eco friendly! In summary some of the staff are polite enough to want to help but yesterday there weren't enough sales crew on the floor and some of the cashiers were looking kind of harried. The moment you walk in this store you are being watched. I worked a lot of retail back in my day & know when I'm being watched instead of helped. The amount of employees I watched hold their ear pieces & walked over to my husband & I to "offer help" is insane. When we were walking back upstairs the security guy went right up to their wrist to let whoever know we were going back upstairs. This is the fashion brand's first standalone store in the Midwest, not counting the in-store location at Nordstrom. This location, on the shopping strip of Walton Street, encompasses three light-filled stories. The first level consists of racks of clothing (not all sizes are out, and customers are encouraged to use the touch screen monitors around the store to browse the collection and select items to be placed in a fitting room. The second floor, more of a mezzanine, includes bridal styles. I took a peek and could easily see some of these styles working for evening/cocktail events as well. The third floor is home to the fitting room and features a window onto Walton Street, as well an additional touch screen monitor. The store was not crowded on my visit during the week, early afternoon but I have a sense that the crowds will pick up once word of this location spreads. The woman working here (didn't catch her name) mentioned that about 900 people showed up to the store's opening party a few weeks ago. Wowzer! Although I did not purchase anything on this visit, I admired the brand's aesthetic and can easily see working some of the midi skirts and dresses (this season's standouts) and cozy knitwear into my fall wardrobe. Having seen some of the items in person, I also have more confidence in ordering online, as a picture doesn't always do the clothing justice. Overall, this store promises to be a great addition to the shopping lineup in this area.
