I'm by no means a salon connoisseur, but Reflections stands out for a few reasons. 1. They're male friendly. Several of the stylists are quite good at male hairstyles. Conversations about farming or home remodeling are just as welcome as conversations about style and fashion. 2. The stylists support each other as a team. I haven't noticed any of the backstabbing and competition which ruin some salons. 3. The ventilation is excellent. I'm unable to even walk into many salons because of the heavy chemical smell. I come here for gel manicures, and I can't recommend it enough. Tina does such a fantastic job, including on nail art, and her prices are really reasonable compared to some other places. Great quality and fair price for what you're getting! read more

Buyer beware!!! I called to get a Mani/Pedi. When I showed up the girl that my appointment was with was not a nail expert but a esthetician. I said I wanted shellac on my fingernails. She said I can't do that, I'm not trained to do that. So I canceled my Mani. She started my Pedi and I could tell she didn't know what she was doing!! I stayed the course and let her continue. As she was botching the base coat, I asked her how many Pedi's she has done. She informed me she usually does 2 or less a year I asked her to stop and I would just pay for services given. I was thinking 20$. The poor quality Pedi cost me 45$ I will never be back and I most definitely won't be referring anyone to this establishment!! read more

This place is great! They massage your scalp before cutting your hair, which was very nice and relaxing. I had a stylist named Danielle and she was wonderful. She listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me the appropriate cut. She also explained everything she did to my hair, including which products she was using so I could replicate the style at home. She even wrote down everything for me so I would be able to reference it later. I am so sad that I moved and am not able to go here anymore! read more

I just want to give a HUGE shout out to Larin Mitchell at Reflections. Ever since my first consultation, Larin has devoted her time/talent to getting my hair healthy and beautiful again. My hair was severely damaged and breaking off and even thinning. I came to her a hot mess. She accepted the challenge and now my hair is HEALTHY and BEAUTIFUL once again. It is short but growing. She is a great stylist, but she isn't a magician. lol She knows I want it long and beautiful once again and she is currently giving me fabulous cuts/styles/colors every inch it grows. She came to me recommended by my sister who is VERY picky about her hair. I am a huge fan of Larin and I highly recommend you give her a chance. Less than 3 weeks before my wedding day, I realized I did not set up an appointment for my hair and make up. I called Reflections and they scheduled me right away (even as a new client), my hair did not want to cooperate and the bleaching process was not working. My hairdresser asked me to come back in a couple days to reprocess at no charge. I went back and had it reprocessed and during this time my hair truly did not want to bleach and there were still salmon streaks. She then had another person assist and HAND PROCESSED the bleach with great success. The way these girls work together and treat their clients like friends..... I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I went back one last time for a hair style on my wedding day including a make up application. I have been going to this salon for several years now. Brenda does my hair and nails. She is an absolute professional at what she does. She is a master at both cut and color. I can go in with specific instructions and she will make it happen or I will go in with no real idea of what I want done and she will help me decide on a fantastic cut and color and teach me how to style it well at home. She has done up dos for me on several occasions that were just breathtaking. I cannot speak enough to her skill. The salon itself is very clean, modern, and comfortable. All the staff that I've interacted with are great. The owner is incredibly nice. The staff seems to have a high level of skill all the way around. They give scalp massages before your cut that are just amazing. They take care of their customers well. read more

I absolutely love this place. Jolene did my service, and she was amazing! I had gotten a highlight at another salon that was just poorly done and rushed. Jolene spent a good 20-30 minutes on my consultation so i could explain exactly what i wanted, she offered several suggestions and made sure she understood what i was looking for, and we agreed on the process. My hair turned out EXACTLY how i wanted it. Another stylist did the style at the end, as Jolene had another appointment, and she was also extremely kind and talented. Reflections is a really great salon with some very friendly and talented staff. I regularly go there to get my hair colored and cut by Brenda. I am in my mid-20's and she is up to date on modern but also practical hair styles to fit anyone's personality and lifestyle. She also ensures to get you the right hair product and instructs you how to do the style. I have referred several friends to the salon and to Brenda and all have been regular customers since! I also have very fickle eyebrows that are slightly curly and Brenda has never messed them up and they always look fabulous! read more

i found this place thanks to yelp. "Danielle" mentioned in the prevous review was no longer here but "Jolene" was super cool and friendly. My 15 year old son isn't the greatest at communicating but she patiently worked through a plan with him. Probably the most important thing that stood out to me was the fact she herself had great hair.. (not sure why so many stylists in the omaha area have rediculous hair but i usually run out when i see a 90's do or a bad dye job). Anyhow.. best haircut I've seen the boy with. Mind you, he's 15 and has longish hair so it's toough to get it looking good when it's "shaken out" She did all of the right things with textering, thinking, etc, etc. - the things I normally have to explain to a stylist, she just did. BTW- if you haven't noticed, I'm a bit anal about hair cuts.. hair and clothes define your look so i'ts important in my opinion. The place itself is new,modern, and clean. offering up complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and tea. It reminded me of some places I've been to in Toronto, SF, etc. good, positive atmosphere. Jolene was just as happy as she could be. I'd hire her just to have her around the office if I didn't travel so much these days. . Well worth the $20 or so I spent. read more

I've been going to Joleen for a LONG time now. Not only does she give a great cut and color, she also teaches you how to get the same results when you try to style your hair at home. She also is one of the few stylists (and I've tried a LOT!) who can wax an arch into my weirdo eyebrows without making them pencil thin! She is hands down amazing :) read more

I just moved to Omaha from California I decided to try out this salon since I live across the street. I have to say that the staff and front desk employees are absolutely nice and made me feel welcomed. The salon is beautiful, hip and very clean. Joleen was my stylist and she gave me a fantastic cut, exactly what I asked for. Not only that but at the end I was offered with a new costumer gift, a free hair Conditioning Treatment. Larin has been doing my hair for a couple years now. I am very low maintenance with my hair and Larin knows I won't be in every six weeks, so she gives me something that will look great for months. She is great with color and always keeps mine very natural. My blonde looks like sun bleached highlights even as it grows out. Larin knows her business, she is very talented and will also tell you when she thinks something won't work for you. She also seems to know what I want better than I do.
