Not only did we end up with lovely hair and makeup, but they gave us a " chillin out space" where, for a small clean up fee, we could bring in Mimosa's and snacks. They even gave the wedding party space to change in unused massage rooms, so we could go directly to the wedding afterwards. Everyone looked gorgeous and the bridal party felt very pampered! I was so upset, watching the gal pull and tug and yank my daughter's hair for literally over an hour, trying to get it combed back out. This was a horrible experience. It was like she was trying to make dreadlocks out of a beautiful head of long hair. It was terrible watching my daughter in so much pain getting her hair pulled and tugged for over an hour getting the wad of tangles out that she created. Not to mention all of the split ends it caused, it was awful! The salon advertises curly hair specialists, but this stylist apparently had no knowledge working with LONG curly hair. I debated posting a negative review, but this experience still bothers me months later. My 18-year-old daughter was looking forward to getting her hair done by a curly hair specialist; and needless to say, we left upset and frustrated over the terrible experience. To top it off, we were charged over $120 for the horrible experience. They did not even offer a discount to take care of the problem they created. The owner and another staff member just kept looking over as the gal was trying, feverishly to comb out all of the tangles. The young gal did not even offer an apology or take any responsibility for creating the problem. I just couldn't wait to get out of the place. They may specialize in curly hair, but obviously not with long curly hair! I will never go back again. Beware!

I go to her because I have mixed hair, so it has always been a challenge to find someone who knows how to treat my hair, white stylist overblow, tease it and over straighten it with the flat iron. Black hair stylist tend to over grease, over flat iron it and try to shave my kitchen (the area around the back of your neck where the hair can be short and tightly curled). I do NOT have a kitchen problem, so it freaks me out when the approach my head with a pair of clippers. Brianne will be going on maternity leave soon, so book your appointment soon. But from looking around every stylist in the shop knows what they are doing and you will not be disappointed. Also, their prices are very reasonable and a cut, style and blowout is under $40.

After my appointment, I was told I owed $59. I spoke to the owner, and she said it is salon policy to advertise the service fee but not the fee for products used. She said in the small print online it says "a service fee may be applied". This wasn't a service fee, this was a product fee. She said I should have requested a consultation to ensure I knew the total price. I asked " I have to set up an appointment before my real appointment to know the full price?" She said I could have negotiated the fee while I was at my scheduled appointment. This makes no sense because I didn't know there would be a product fee, but even if I was told there was a product fee, what happens if we can't come to an agreement? Could I just walk out because we couldn't agree on the price and I wouldn't be charged for the 2 hour appointment? I doubt it! What a scam!

I had been looking for a salon home since I moved into town less than a year ago, but didn't want to pay an exuberant amount for underwhelming results (I won't name names, but if you have played high end salon musical chairs you catch my drift). Bre certainly had her work cut out for her. My signature color and style is difficult for newer cosmetologists who don't have a lot of heavy experience creating a healthy platinum blonde. I figured it would be excellent practice for her. While my desired result took two visits, Bre never gave up on trying to get it right. I admire her courage, her proactiveness in researching for a better and more skillful way to do things when we didn't quite get there the first session, and the 100% open communication she holds with me via cell phone if I have ANY questions or concerns. The ONLY complaint I have with Attitudes is that they lack any sort of cold beverage to offer their customers. Bottled water, soda, whatever. It's not a huge deal, but it would have been lovely to sip on something other than a pot of coffee. I don't see this as being an over the line accomodation. I would also like to give another stylist a review, Bradley. Bradley cut my teenage son's hair a few days ago and did an EXCELLENT job. Took him as a walk in without making us wait very long. Very pleased. We will patronize his services again in the near future, as my son adores his cut. In closing, I will continue to see Bre for all my color/style/cut/waxing needs. She has earned my business.
