I love it because he is not a huge drinker, so I can go into the bar area and wait for him while he is in the chair (and have his free drink while I wait!) The ambiance is definitely upscale and leaning into the "masculine" aesthetic, both in the salon side and in the bar. It's all woods and leathers, with dark concrete floors. They offer a subscription service, but you don't have to have that if you want to just come in for a singular cut, and a free drink (cocktail, beer, coffee) is included even if you come in for a single barber visit vs. having a subscription.
