I have been taking my son here and I can't express how awesome the barbers are! My son is 13 and quiet but the barbers are caring and approachable so he feels comfortable opening up on how he wants his hair cut. It makes me feel good seeing others take such care and my son is always super happy with his hair cut. Like I said awesome. read more

I wrote a review shortly after the haircut, and although I think the haircut could've been done better. I realize we are all human, and have days. They did refund the charge. I'm sure they have cut plenty of great haircuts. I wish them the best. I do appreciate them as people trying there best out here. read more

Glen cut my hair. For having as many years of experience as he said he did, I received an amateur haircut. For 35$ before tip you expect a great result. I'm severely disappointed. He was very abrasive with the hand piece and most definitely caused irritation of the skin. My ear and neck taper is uneven and not lined up equally on both sides. After the cut they did not even comb/style me up, and barely cleaned the cut hair off my neck and forehead. I recommend looking for another barbershop because you will leave here unsatisfied. read more

Dundee Barber - Barbers Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Lost for words. Haircut was extremely uneven and I end up having to go shower when I get home to clog my drain. It's like they don't find the time to comb through and blow dry your hair after spending $40+. They rush you out the door. Not to mention I had to try and fix my haircut when I got home. They don't even shave your neck even if you're calling in for a 'fade'. Never again. read more

I just finished my appointment with "Alex M." @ Dundee Barber. I showed the boy several photographs of myself with the exact haircut that I desired...SIMPLY...photos were of ME with my previous haircut, "a fade". This boy had "0" personality & it appeared to me from the moment that I walked in...he wasn't having me‼ When he was "finished", he held up a mirror & I was speechless...I showed him photos AGAIN & he stated that "I asked for a fade - and that WAS NOT a fade"‼ He followed that up with "OK DUDE"‼ He then begrudgingly began to "correct" the issues, which made the first attempt look "great"‼ Objectivity, this was indeed the WORST haircut I've ever received...and on HIS part - his ANGRIEST towards me‼ Sadly, YELP doesn't offer you the choice for a NEGATIVE (-) for a rating... "Alex M." "thanks" for the WORST (& ANGRIEST) haircut in my life, "DUDE"‼ A big fat for "Alex M." @ Dundee Barber... read more

Tina at Dundee Barber always knocks it out of the park!!! She is consistent, personable and quick! If you are looking for a good fade, this is a great place to start. They are always SUPER busy. Make sure you pre-book online, because this isn't one of those walk in type of places. They also carry Reuzel products, which I like. The shop has an old charm to it that you can't find very often in Omaha. read more

Been coming here for about 2 years and finally decided to give a review. Normaly i go to Frank or Tina ( they are the absolute best) but one day neither of them was available so i had pete do my hair, when i sat down in the chair he tells me " looked liked you lost weight", i have never seen him before in my life, well he tells me he looked me up on FB cause my name looked familiar.. im sorry but thats a lil weird and definitely not professional!. Over all if you want a good hair cut and great conversation definitely go to frank or tina, if you want someone looking you up on social media then go to pete! read more

Walked in from so cal... home run! Great Barbers they looked me over and did it right . Recommend read more

A great first experience. Came to the shop in the morning and my barber Paul was all ready to go! Cut was done very nicely and pristine. You can tell he's skilled at what he does. A pretty reasonable price to pay for. Definitely would come back again. Easy going conversations, helped created a great atmosphere for this barber shop. read more

We booked an appointment for my grandson here. He is 13, and has not had a haircut since the pandemic began, as his parents were meticulous about mitigating his exposure until he was able to be vaccinated. He was really looking forward to getting his hair cut. Even though the cut was fine (thus the 2 stars), Tina was sadly lacking in the aspect of customer service. The first thing she did was berate him for not combing out his hair (it was hard to comb due to the length and curliness). She maintained a sullen demeanor throughout the appointment, and didn't even bother to brush any of the cut hair from his face and shoulders. We will not be returning, nor would we recommend this shop to any of our friends. read more

Way too expensive. The guy who just finished barber college did s top notch job. The Asian female seemed too cocky. With you have to have an appointment for me to cut your hair. Can get the same hair cut without her attitude at the barber college. read more

Came in today without an appointment and needed a quick buzzcut. This location is the closest barber to downtown Omaha, so that was a plus. The owner was able to squeeze me in between two other customers who had made appointments. He was very nice, and did a very good job on my haircut (better than I've ever received at any other place) and I will return here again when I need another haircut. :) The address is correct at 103 N. 50th Street, I uploaded a picture. read more

Second time at Dundee Barber. I just moved to Omaha. I got lucky! Tina is great if you looking for a hip cut and beard trim and shape. The shop has a great retro feel with the old barber shop talk! Jokes, laughs and fun! This is the place for you next haircut! Tina will hook you up! read more

Can't recommend this shop enough! I've been going here for over a year and Tina always has me leaving with a fresh fade. She'll remember your go to cut and just makes it a nice place to go! read more

I've been going to Dundee Barber ever since I moved to Omaha two years ago. Tina has been my barber since day one and has never let me down. She's been nothing but kind and thoroughly answers any questions I might have about styling or what hairstyles would work best for me and why. I always walk out in a better mood, standing taller and more confident than when I arrived. When I'm in Tina's chair I know I'm in good hands. read more

Been a few times by now and very happy with my experience. Most recently saw Paul for a cut, and he knocked it outta the park. Will be back again. read more

Now hear this: FINALLY THE PERFECT HAIRCUT My husband has fabulous hair. It's intact. It's luxuriant. It has a slight, graceful wave. It's dark brown with a thread of silver here and there, if one looks closely. So great, right? No. He has never, ever had a good haircut. It doesn't matter if it is a cut given by a $200 top end stylist, in London, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong - no matter how much he spent or where in the world he got his hair cut, it's always bad. No matter what he requests, they always butcher him. So who would have thought that in the Dundee neighborhood of Omaha, he would FINALLY GET THE PERFECT HAIRCUT. It's not just my opinion, everyone who has seen him over the past few weeks has remarked on how great his hair looks. Paul did a superb job. So, it looks like my husband will be heading to Omaha every time he needs a haircut. I am not joking. I'm not. So if your are lucky enough to live close to the heart of Dundee, I cannot recommend Dundee Barber highly enough. read more

I'm really hurt by my experience here. I was not treated as the same amount of respect as the last person was (who was white). I am full blooded Native American. As a new costumer, I was looking for a barber with high reviews and I thought this was the place. I was talked down to like an idiot and I felt discriminated. You think I might be jumping the gun but believe me I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. I will not be returning to this establishment. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for minorities. read more

This place is great! Booked online. In & out In just a few minutes and the cut was pure quality! Everything you'd expect from a top notch barber shop! Frank was a cool guy with mad skills! read more

Paul is a true professional and very knowledgeable about haircutting. I'm in the Air Force and always get my haircut here when I'm in town. He does the perfect low fade. I would highly recommend him to anybody. Don't be deterred by the need to wait for an appointment. He's that good. The best option is to get a recurring calendar appointment with him. Cheers. Glen Weaver. read more

Seems like this shop focuses on quantity and not quality. It felt like the cut was rushed and several spot had been missed (neck/ears/sides). To be honest I was not very impressed for the price. I did get a cut on a sunday approaching closing time so that might have been a factor. read more

Went to Frank a couple of times and he's kinda done his own thing with no regard to what I actually ask; but the final time gave me a medium fade was the last chance I was gonna give him to cut my hair. I went in today with Tina; I showed a picture of what I like my hair to look like but the fade she did isn't even blended. She turns me around for what I expect to be a trim and finally when I turn back to the mirror, at least two inches are gone. I have thick hair and proceeded to explain that when my hairs shorter, and dry, it will stick up. Her immediate response is "where is it sticking up??" With the most attitude as if my hair wasn't drenched in water. She continued to thin my hair out and as she lazily took the apron off, all of my hair fell on top of my pants and shoes. We walk to the check out area and she slammed the card reader on the table as she just ignored me. My experiences here have gotten worse the more I go. Will not return and DEFINITELY wouldn't recommend anyone to this establishment. read more

Had the privilege of sitting in the chair with the man Paul Dunning. Great atmosphere. Great conversation. Great cuts. Great price. Just be sure to book an appointment -- then show up! Respect your barber and they'll respect you. read more

Awesome place. Dom did a great job. Definitely got a new customer. I'd recommend this place to anyone

The first time I came in I didn't have an appointment. Jim was still able to squeeze me in and got me under way pretty quick. Jim is a total professional and all around nice guy. He always cuts my hair exactly how I like it. He has a little log book of all his customers so I don't even need to remind him how I want it cut. He's willing to keep it light and just chat or get into something a little deeper if that's the conversation you're after. He does work by appointment and the weekend fill up pretty quick. He has a little TV set for customers to watch and the price is $15. Get over to your phone because Jim is waiting for your call! read more

One of the greatest barbers in Omaha. Jim is a true gentleman and a good guy.... My hair is always perfect. Make sure that you call ahead to get into his place - walk-ins are not allowed. If you're a guy looking for a classic 50s or military cut, Jim is the guy for you! read more

Paul is the absolute best! I always leave looking sharp and never disappointed! I will never go to anyone else!

I was hooked on this place after day one. Amazing shop with excellent service and talented providers. Jennifer and Paul are top notch and always great conversation. read more

Owner/barber Jim is a super friendly and super experienced local barber. He'll tell you about the history of his shop, which has been passed down barber to barber since 1928. He took it over a decade or two ago. It's a small shop, located just north of 50th and Dodge streets. You might notice the decor is a bit outdated, with sun-washed men's hair style posters (which are hilarious) and the previous barber's clown collection -- you heard me right, clown collection. There's even an old "Archie" comic book from the '70s on top of a gum ball machine for the young folks to read while waiting for a trim. Anyway, Jim is professional and fast with his cuts. Expect to get in and out in under 30 minutes with a great haircut to boot. Cost is only $15, cash or check. read more

Tina and the other staff here are friendly. Always a great haircut! Would recommend to anyone wanting great service at the perfect price.

One of the best haircuts I've ever received. I was working in Omaha for a few months and needed a reliable barber. Based on the solid reviews and modest price, I decided to give this place a shot. A small shop with some surprisingly not-that-creepy clown decorations and an old school chart on popular hairstyles in the 90's, this barber shop is a humble one chair operation. Jim is a really friendly guy and he sure knows how to cut hair! He takes great care while doing the job and also asks if he's cutting it the way you like along the way. For a $15 haircut, I can't imagine getting anything better. Call in for an appointment if you want a cut (it's a common courtesy). I have walked in before, but I was lucky to catch him at a good time. read more

The best barber shop around - Paul's cuts are impeccable and the atmosphere is friendly and fun.

Jim is a pro, you can't go wrong getting your haircut by him. I had been going to The Surly Chap but got tired of waiting 2 hours to get my hair cut. Jim takes appointments and has many years of experience. read more
