My review will begin with zero stars!!!! His appt was @1& he didnt even get in the chair till almost130. I took my 17yr old to get a taper & he was charged $45. I called prior to going in & was quoted $45 for a trim & taper. Well my son didn't get his trimmed at all. Then due to him only having $25 that he thought would pay for his taper, I ended up using my VISA bcuz when he called me to let me know what was going on they had the audacity to follow him out the door like he was stealing!!! THIS IS WHY BLACK PPL DONT SHOP WITH THEIR OWN..NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND WITH THEM & WILL GIVE A POOR REVIEW TO ANYONE THAT ASKS. read more

This establishment is run down and dirty. The equipment and furniture are falling apart and, while I saw tool/product cleansers, I never once saw them being used. The barbers are moderately polite, but mostly just ignore you and are not personable. Pascha did a decent cut, but it wasn't remotely what we requested she do with my son's hair. What I found most appalling was the way she showed zero compassion or interest in the fact that she was jerking his head around so much he was reduced to tears. She completely ignored -without so much as a halfhearted "I'm sorry, it'll be over soon"- while he sobbed in her chair. She just kept working and didn't say a word to anyone. It wasn't until I got up to comfort him that she only half acknowledged him and asked me to get out of her way, assuring me that this was "completely normal" as though I have no idea how Black hair care works. Yes, Pascha, I get that cutting and styling Black hair requires certain training and finesse. This ain't my first rodeo. But if it's completely normal for you to ignore a little boy who is visibly and audibly sobbing in your chair, then maybe you ought to consider a career at Guantanamo. She never explained to him what she was doing, never acknowledged that she was causing him pain, and tried to explain to me that this was totally fine. Ignoring someone's humanity and pain is never fine, no matter how "professional" you are pretending to be. Pascha is the worst. End of story. read more

This was my message to Pascha! She is amazing. I watched her cut my son's hair and had to have her cut mine too! My sons think it's funny I now go to "their" barbar shop! *Just wanted to let you know that I just love my hair! It's so easy to do in the morning and I have received so many compliments. My husband has been coming here since 2017 I believe. After a series of terrible haircuts at a local chain, I was finally able to convince him to go to a real barbershop and found this place via a Google search. He has been getting his hair cut here every other week by Big Dave since then. The cuts are consistent, sharp and a great price. My husband brought my dad here in December for a beard trim and my dad loved the results. He can't wait to go back the next time he's in town. We also love that this place is family friendly as our daughter frequently goes to the shop with her dad. 10/10 my whole family would recommend! read more

There are times when Yelp ratings are spot on. This is one of those examples. had my first visit to Classic Barbershop today and they earned every one of their 5 star ratings. Great atmosphere, great conversation (and honest conversation not idle small talk) to a quality haircut all while providing amazing customer service, I absolutely loved this place. Felt my haircut was given the time they needed to take, not rushed through to get to the next person. My time was my time and I was given complete attention to. Walked out with a great looking cut on time and at a fair price. Classic Barbershop is how barbershops should be. Will definitely be going again in 2 weeks. Outstanding! I called the shop because my husband had been in and out of the hospital for 6 weeks and we just did not find a way to get his hair cut! David told me to bring him in. My husband is a military guy so a precise, professional cut means a lot to him. Not only did David do a great job on his hair but he also cleaned up his beard & neck with a straight edge. Watching David take care of my husband was like watching poetry in motion. The skill! The knifelike accuracy was a joy to watch. The reviews had me thinking i may have found my new spot. The service had me thinking absolutely not. The first time I went in I made an appointment since I was going on my lunch break. I was there for 30 minutes before getting in the owners chair. The haircut was ok but not the best. The second time, appointment again, the owner wasnt even there! He left for lunch and was 20 minutes late. That haircut was worse than the 1st one. I wouldnt recommend and I wont be going back. read more
