Corey asked me if I left my Stanley cup there the last time I was there..(2 months ago!) and I looked over to my amazement... And yes, it was mine... I knew I left it behind somewhere, but I had no idea where. They not only remembered me... But they held onto it ..saving it for me ..two months later!! I can't say enough good things about the shop... My grandson visits from Texas during the summer and over Christmas break and we always make a point to go back to the Chop Shop! He loves having Ryan help him... But I will say today I watched Cash give a boy about nine or 10 a great haircut that had style and an edginess... That took him back to school feeling great! Love this place!!

Made my way over, and waited less than 5 minutes before the barber was ready for me. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, but he was former military and spent some time based in Hawaii where I'm from. I told him how I like my fade, and he delivered perfectly. He was very friendly and we chatted it up the whole time. The service is great, the vibe is awesome, and the prices are super reasonable especially with the quality of cut received. Would gladly return again!!

I researched, made a choice, and booked Alejandro on my only day off before a 10 day stretch. Booked well in advance and planned my day around my cut and beard trim. Steer clear, since I'm still not sure if they are going to charge my card. May need to be reported for fraud, not sure yet.

Scissors and Scotch is a great idea for a business (drinks while you get your hair cut? Yes…read moreplease!) Now they are a barber shop vs. a salon, so they cater more toward a male clientele, but my husband has always had great cuts there. I love it because he is not a huge drinker, so I can go into the bar area and wait for him while he is in the chair (and have his free drink while I wait!) The ambiance is definitely upscale and leaning into the "masculine" aesthetic, both in the salon side and in the bar. It's all woods and leathers, with dark concrete floors. They offer a subscription service, but you don't have to have that if you want to just come in for a singular cut, and a free drink (cocktail, beer, coffee) is included even if you come in for a single barber visit vs. having a subscription.
