Allow me to set the stage: I'm a guy who doesn't frequent "barbers" as I like my hair cut well. Over the years I found and was quite faithful to my local hair salon for one simple reason, they did a great job from day one! So here I am in NE in dire need of getting my hair cut/styled, and with much trepidation and after several people, mostly women, told me try "Seven Salon", so I did. Not wanting to chance a misunderstanding, when asked how I wanted my hair cut, I was quite specific: Tapered in the back No skin, aka white walls, on the side The top, I have a full head of luxurious wavy hair, I said I want it short, but not spiked. End result: when the lady was done, I actually had to ask for a brush because I had this "Gumby" thing going on! Needless to say, my hair was cut unevenly and forget about any of the instructions given, the woman chose her own style. So men, stay away from this place! read more

I love Seven Salon and Brianne is my stylist. She can do anything you ask especially if you want color, she is a certified color specialist and there is probably no color she can't turn your hair to perfection. I go to her because I have mixed hair, so it has always been a challenge to find someone who knows how to treat my hair, white stylist overblow, tease it and over straighten it with the flat iron. Black hair stylist tend to over grease, over flat iron it and try to shave my kitchen (the area around the back of your neck where the hair can be short and tightly curled). I do NOT have a kitchen problem, so it freaks me out when the approach my head with a pair of clippers. Brianne will be going on maternity leave soon, so book your appointment soon. But from looking around every stylist in the shop knows what they are doing and you will not be disappointed. Also, their prices are very reasonable and a cut, style and blowout is under $40. read more

I called to talk about the business, and the receptionist was as rude to me as they could be; their website was malfunctioning, and she told me no one else could do what their provider could do. My question was, be gracious and kind, appreciative that someone was giving them a heads up. Not only are their owners involved but they have their finger on the pulse of the industry and keep themselves and their employees educated constantly. I saw online that the salon does nails as well, so I called the salon asking if they can remove dip manicure. The receptionist says "yes, but we only have Shellac to reapply, no dip. Because I just needed my dip removed I set up an appointment for 1pm. Their covid instructions on the door were unclear as it said to call when we arrive. I called and the receptionist said she was going to let the girl know I was there, another woman was also waiting in her car after calling and no one came to get us. We were both confused as the receptionist never told us to come in or if we wait to be invited in. Finally we both just went in and our ladies had been waiting for us! I would have liked better communication on those instructions. As for the nails, it turns out they don't have a nail drill so the tech just soaked my dip nails in acetone five different times and buffed them in between. The process took 2 hours while having a drill would have taken 20 mins. Had I know they didn't have a drill, I would have gone somewhere else. Unfortunately, my nails turned out looking like a hack job dip nail removal that I could've done myself, but costed me $17. For the future I hope this salon can be honest to their customers about their limitations. read more

I've been here twice, the first time I was there I checked with the receptionist, she never told my stylist I was there so I waited for 45 minutes for my stylist to come get me. The next time I went back the same thing happened! This time I only waited for 15-20 minutes before saying something. I couldn't believe they forgot about me in the waiting room twice! And the stylists were very unapologetic about it and didn't seem to care. The stylists did an average job, they were good but nothing outstanding and definitely not worth waiting 45 minute for! However their prices were very resonable, that would be the only reason I would go back. Sorry there are too many other salons in Omaha, I'll go somewhere that can actually manage their business. read more

I actually found Seven by seeing someone hair at the mall I liked. She referred me into the salon. I've tried several stylists there and they all do what I like. they also have a range a prices so if you need something a little cheaper, they can do it! they have a little coffee bar up front and I'm always offered a drink while I'm waiting which is very polite. I really love my stylist at the salon, but the salon needs are real "deep" cleaning. The windows, bathroom, floors, shelves and counters were dirty with hair, dust and dirt everywhere. They need to invest in a daily cleaning person who will keep the salon looking good, like the people that work there. With so many options of salons in Omaha they need to step it up!
